1xRTT (CDMA2000 1x)
The 1xRTT device—also known as a CDMA2000—was a protocol that was used to access a 3G network. Specifically, it used a set of standards to transmit voice, data, and other information. It was also backward compatible. This means that it could be used to access a 2G network. As such, it was once a highly utilized 3G standard.
What Small and Midsize Businesses Need to Know About 1xRTT (CDMA2000 1x)
The CDMA2000 has long since been phased out since 2008, as 3G is no longer used. As such, there is no reason that a small business would need to understand what 1xRTT is or how it works.
