> **Pros**: Affordability but tons of options, all-in-one package that doesn't surprise me with additional fees, outstanding customer support (like really, really outstanding)

> **Cons**: As another reviewer said there is DEFINITELY a learning curve to using, for more advanced formatting like we do in medicine it can be a bit "clunky" (uses a word processer type environment but doesn't always show what you think you told it show), can't set up complex membership plans

> I have used Membergate for over 8 years for a site that has lots of content (current content pages are like 4,000 almost) that need to be precisely organized.  Membergate continues to be very effective for what we use it for.  I work with the software daily so have gotten to know it pretty darn well and highly recommend.  Oh, and a word on support?  If the software doesn't do something you need it to they are ALWAYS thinking outside the box to develop the features or at least offer workarounds.  Finally, if you used Membergate in the old days, take a look at the updates ... it has definitely modernized\!

> **Pros**: 1. Can use it as your Regular Website.
2.  Highly Secure Membership Platform with loads of features.
3.  Full control of all the features of the website without requiring a Webmaster to run it.
4.  Some of the BEST Support that exists -- Anywhere\!

> **Cons**: 1.  There's a LOT that we have access to that most of us will never use (but I would still rather have too much than too little).  It can just feel a bit more overwhelming than it is as a result of this.
2.  A Moderate Learning Curve to get your mind wrapped around how everything works.  Mostly to learn what you are going to need to learn how to use and what parts of the system you don't need so you can learn to ignore it.
3.  Even though this is a mature Software, there's loads of potential with it.  I would like them to get better at Marketing so that more folks can be exposed to this powerful software which will allow their team of programmers to grow in order to maximize the potential that's already here.
