Reviews of Bitwarden
Best password manager
Comments: Based on the price the value is exceptional. Bitwarden is part of my workflow a long time ago.
Pros:
Beside the fact that Bitwarden is completely open source and validated by security companies, it has a ton of functionality that really improves security at home and within an organization.
Cons:
I can't really tell a lot. Sometimes I had to initiate the sync manually when I had to use the password between devices, but that is usually rare.
Alternatives Considered:
Familiar and solid
Pros:
It’s familiarity with an other open source desktop password manager.
Cons:
User management, that you have to accept a user after invitation. Collections vs folders, why not simply call it folders? And please give us owners on collections.
Alternatives Considered:
Great professional password manager
Comments: Great password manager, easy to roll out across the organization.
Pros:
The ability to seperate personal and work passwords, automatic form fillers, collections to seperate passwords per client.
Cons:
I can't really think of anything to be honest.
Very confusing for set up and use
Comments: Very, very frustrating. Also disappointed because I had invested a fair amount of time comparing different password managers and thought this one would work. Instead it turned into a huge waste of time.
Pros:
That it was free - I appreciate that at least I did not lose money when I deleted my account.
Cons:
User interface, help, instructions, etc. very hard to follow for beginner. It was difficult getting started, and I never could find a satisfactory answer on why there are both a web app and a browser extension. There are also mobile and desktop apps. I could not tell if we needed all of the apps installed, and if not, why would we have desktop, web, and extension all on same computer?
Very recommended
Pros:
Free version is almost complete. Prices are cheap
Cons:
For my use sincerely i don't have any cons

Best password manager I've used!
Comments: Great! I'm am so much more organized and secure with my information and passwords after starting with Bitwarden. It's available on every platform I need and easily setup.
Pros:
I love that it's free to get started, and the upgrade is very reasonable, if you end up needing to. I use the password generator all the time!
Cons:
Autosave and autofill work 80% of the time, which is great, but not 100%. I have had times when trying to create a new entry using the browser plugin, that I accidentally clicked off, closing the popup and losing the info I had not saved yet. This has caused frustration more often than I'd like. Editing entries can be tedious, but you are protected from messing with things you want to leave untouched.
Bitwarden review
Pros:
Bitwarden provides a high level of security and stores all sensitive information locked from external actors.
Cons:
So far, I have not found any downsides to Bitwarden. I hope to keep it that way.
The best password manager app
Pros:
All the features and functionality of a password manager in a single app
Cons:
I haven't found anything yet that I don't really like
Alternatives Considered:
Affordable and functional
Comments: Easy setup. Easy to use. Very affordable. Just great for my small business.
Pros:
Bitwarden was the most affordable option that also did the job.
Cons:
The passwords can still be viewed by the users.
Very Reliable and Secure
Comments:
Overall, my experience has been really awesome. Been using it for 1 and half year and never felt like changing it to other app.
Very secure and all my colleagues can access password from company email.
Pros:
The product is very secure, reliable and gives ease of mind. Its very user friendly and easy to generate really tough passwords and passphrases.
Cons:
The need to authenticate every time i open the app. Its such a pain but considering it stores all the valuable passwords, its understandable.
Best alternative solution for lastpass & Dashlane
Comments: I am quite happy that i have to pay no more for password management
Pros:
It is free and covers everything even if you don't buy it
Cons:
Sometimes you have sync issues but that happened to me only once
Alternatives Considered:
Solid value, solid features
Comments: Overall, we have had a pleasant experience with Bitwarden. They actively develop and they are responsive to support needs. But I do wish they would work on more options to customize for your needs.
Pros:
I appreciate this being open source and audited by a third party. There are many, many features that cover most aspects of password/identity management. There are so many options for client access, it's amazing.
Cons:
The types of entries are somewhat limiting. You can store secure notes, credit cards, and logins. It would be nice if you could create custom options or import other templates, which is something that competitors have. Because of that, you occasionally have to shoehorn into a category that isn't quite accurate. For example, adding a Wi-Fi network. It doesn't fit the way Login is presented and using a Secure Note makes it difficult to quickly copy the info back out. Also, I really wish they would clean up the organization and collection paradigm. It's really confusing and always the first place users end up stumbling trying to figure things out.
Alternatives Considered:
This is the best password manager that I have ever used.
Comments: Having a different password for all of your online accounts is vital to protect your personal and business information. Bitwarden does that. While it is not the easiest password manager to set up for multiple people, once set up, it is nearly seemless to use.
Pros:
Bitwarden does a great job of working with nearly every website and app. And when it doesn't automatically add username and password (some sites won't allow it), it is quite easy to copy and past them from the app or browser extension.
Cons:
I wish that when you manually add a password that it would save automatically, rather than having to hit the save button, or at least ask if you are sure you want to quit without saving.
Great free password management
Comments: I am testing Bitwarden as a potential LastPass replacement and have had a great experience with it thus far.
Pros:
Bitwarden is free and very easy to use. It’s stable and offers a wide array of ways to access your library (native app, web app, and Chrome extension is what I’m using so far).
Cons:
So far, Bitwarden has proved itself to be stable and easy to use and I haven’t run into any cons.
Alternatives Considered:
Bitwarden is both very capable and reasonably priced
Comments: Since moving to Bitwarden I've been very pleased with the experience. Importing from the old password manager product was quick and seamless. I was up and running in no time with a U2F hardware key as a second authentication factor. The little touches like adding custom fields and additional URIs to a login are great.
Pros:
One standout feature for me is the ability to use things like base domain and regular expresions to match login URIs. With logins you can also add custom fields to be filled - particularly useful for something like an AWS login, where you need to provide an account ID as well as the typical username and password. The password generator also supports passphrases which is another great addition. Granular controls on password policies and minimum
Cons:
The way attachments are handled needs a rethink. Creating and saving a note before editing it in order to add a file isn't a nice experience. A new category alongside notes would improve this. I feel the interface could do with some modernisation but that's obviously subjective. Overall it does feel like an efficient product.
Excellent Password Manager
Comments: Bitwarden is an excellent option for securing passwords and other identifying information. I highly recommend it to my friends and family.
Pros:
Easy to use and manage. Security features are very good, easy to access passwords and copy and paste as needed.
Cons:
There hasn't been any time when I've used this product that I've wished it had different features or been frustrated with it.
Centralised Password Manager
Pros:
Bitwarden is extremely easy to use across all my devices, my phone, on the browser and on any application that I want. My top favourite features are autofill, 2FA, and that it can automatically match URLs based of several methods such as host/domains.
Cons:
The baseline of bitwarden security is on a master password for encryption, so in case you loss or forget the password there is no way of recovering it. This puts more emphasis on remembering and securely storing your master password.
Password and Credentials Management
Pros:
Bitwarden is a great software for password and credentials management. It has many features and the good thing is we can use those features for free. It would be a perfect product for personal use in my opinion.
Cons:
One bug that I still find in Bitwarden is when we use the auto filling feature in browser such as Google Chrome. The password or credentials doesn't appear even though I already hit the shortcut
Passward management software
Comments: Overall my experience was more than positive and I can't do without it now
Pros:
intuitive pasward management software and also in the free trial and complete and nothing is missing.
Cons:
application to be reviewed in the graphics
Best password manager I've tried
Comments: I have over 500 different strong passwords registered thanks to bitwarden, and only need to remember my master password to unlock my vault. Everyone should use a password manager tool like bitwarden.
Pros:
Bitwarden easily syncs on your laptop, desktop and mobile, keeping all your passwords safe and quickly accessible.
Cons:
I wish we could create subfolders to classify the different passwords we store in the vault, and display tags on the vault.
The best free password manager in the market
Comments: I always tought using a passowrd manager would be a hassle, but it wasn't. I've been using it for many years now and don't even give it any tought; Bitwarden is just a seamless part of my personal and professional workflows. I even suggested it to coworkers and family members who are less tech savy then I am and it worked very well for them as well.
Pros:
I absolutely love the simplicity and ease of setup of Bitwarden. It is so simple to use and is very stripped down of unnecessary features. I also love the fact that it is open source, which all security software should be in my opinion. It offers certainly the best free tier of any other provider, so if you don't intend to pay for a password manager or don't need any other advanced features, it is certainly the best.
Cons:
I believe Bitwarden lacks certain features that other providers offer in their paid tiers (and that is why I am still not a paying client). I also believe the two-factor authentication options should be more broad, as none of the ones avaliable work for me.
The best place to store your keys
Comments: My experience with the program is very good, it helps me to remember the passwords on a daily basis and it helped me a lot to start using secure passwords in my accounts. The option to autocomplete the password is very convenient. I feel that in this way I am not only using better keys, but that I have them portable and in a safe place
Pros:
It is a very intuitive program, easy to install because you can use it from the desktop, the web browser or from the cell phone. It has very interesting functions such as the generation of secure keys, being able to export all your saved data or, for example, being able to create sections of different keys and also create shared folders to share keys. The self-locking system is very interesting for those people who may suffer the risk of being left open. In the case of the cell phone, you can unlock it with your fingerprint without the need to use the master key, so it makes it very comfortable to use.
Cons:
The most important against that I find, which at the same time is its greatest point, is that once you forget the password, you have no chance of recovering the account. This can be a great advantage if you are neat and have the keys well stored or a big problem if you did not save the key correctly. But this is more of a problem for the user than for the application itself.
One of the best software to use for password management
Comments: It's awesome. Never had any issue at all. Never had to worry about the software breaking on any of my platform. This software is well designed and engineered.
Pros:
I like how easy it is to set up. You just have to signup and install the software to begin using it. Works with all platforms like Windows, MacOs, Browser, iOS, Android, Linux, etc. Browser extension available. The UI is very clean and easy to navigate. Took me less than an hour to learn and start using it. The documentation is great. They also have youtube channe; showing the demo if anyone is into watching and learning.
Cons:
Most support all software. As off now 90% of the websites I visit support bitwarden but, the rest doesn't support it at all. However, you can manually add the login credential.
Alternatives Considered:
Easy Password Manager for desktop and mobile users.
Comments: My online security are very important. I trust Bitwarden with my Bank access and logins!
Pros:
Easy and fast to use in different environments - whether I am behind me pc or on the go on my mobile phone.
Cons:
So far I have had no problems. The software does what it says.
Great all-round solution that beats many higher priced options
Pros:
Ease of use. Great price point, and multi-device/cross-browser support
Cons:
Sometimes misses detection of autofill situations, therefore creating more work to access information.
