> **Pros**: The tool's value proposition is excellent. It works well, being ideal for scientific research but also suitable for use in a business environment. The monthly cost is really low for what the tool offers of value. It is able to save hours of scientific data analysis work and is priced much lower than its competitors.
> 
> **Cons**: Learning to use the tool is not easy. Since the tool is unfairly underused in the scientific community, collaboration with teams is difficult, as its use is not widespread. The fact that it is a web tool on the one hand makes it easier because it removes the barrier of interoperability between Windows, Mac and Linux. But for me, the best solution would be to have desktop apps for each of these platforms.

> I use Dedoose in my master's research, in which I have a large volume of data to carry out a systematic literature review. In this case, after performing the data extraction using another tool, in this case DistillerSR (or Covidence, but it could even be an excel spreadsheet or a Word table), then I use Dedoose to perform the qualitative analysis of my data. It speeds up the process too much and the result is excellent.
