> **Pros**: Mixmode has a novel approach to doing real time analytics across large data sets.  No other tool in the market can provide continuous analytics against data every few minutes.  This approach makes it easier on the analyst so they are not chasing FPs\!

> **Cons**: The tool is easy to use, but sometimes too easy and simple.  As it evolves, it would be great to see deerp level investigations capability and pivots to other sources of data.
> 
> The solution is very different approach to your typical NDR.  Most NDRs focus on the usual passive monitoring with threat intelligence feeds and some analytics but his can produce erroneous alerts.  Mixmode continuous monitoring against data as it is changing in your environment is great to see\!

> **Pros**: Scheduled tasks are amazing when being able to customize alerting.  As well as the "Usage" feature to help clients know where most of there data is coming from. An Intel Events is great for being able to compile a large amount of similar traffic together.

> **Cons**: The ability to use Regular Expressions more when querying logs. How I would need to close the tab I'm on and reopen another when mixmode freezes. An less False Positive reporting in Intel Events.

> **Cons**: The initial learning curve can be considered difficult, but once an individual is in and becomes familiar with MixMode, it becomes a powerful tool.
