Reviews of WooCommerce

Alternatives Considered:
Great platform to integrate
Comments: We ll keep using it on all our WP based shops. Great value and definetely easy setup.
Pros:
We are using WooCommerce for most of our e-comm sites. Easy to integrate with third-party addons. Lot of options for customization of our shop, from shipping to advanced options.
Cons:
No issues with any of the features we are utilizing. It is recommended for beginners too.
Alternatives Considered:
The most flexible ecommerce platform around
Comments: I'm a big fan of WooCommerce and use it for a number of client ecommerce stores.
Pros:
WooCommerce is open source and built on top of Wordpress, so it is the easiest and most cost-effective way to add ecommerce to a Wordpress website. It is also incredibly flexible, with a huge number of plugins and code snippets that can extend and alter its fuctionality.
Cons:
The user interface is a little dated compared to the likes of Shopify. It is still pretty simple to use, but it's interface does not feel as modern or look as clean as Shopify's platform.
Not user freindly unless you require off the shelf
Pros:
not much to like as only available customizing is per their coding
Cons:
Unless you follow their process (Amazon, Shopify) not useful
Alternatives Considered:
Turn your Wordpress sites into stores with WooCommerce!
Comments: I used WooCommerce to set up my second e-commerce store. [sensitive content hidden] The first one was done using Shopify which took a similar amount of time but was very frustrating. Woo worked great. A few days later, our website became a fully functioning store! We've since added a store to Instagram and Facebook connected to our site.
Pros:
The tutorials and support make setting up your e-commerce store relatively easy. But don't just SKIP over the details. Take time. Read carefully and follow the steps exactly.
Cons:
It can be complicated due to all that it does. You need to read instructions carefully and follow the steps exactly to avoid getting lost.
Alternatives Considered:
If you're thinking of an e-commerce solution think WooCommerce
Comments: The overall experience I get is the speed of checkout, the ease of use and the stability of the software.
Pros:
There are many important features but the most important is the easy to setup the software and easy to understand the directions.
Cons:
Really don't have any dislikes about the software.
