Zoobook EHR is modern, affordable, easy to use, designed with awesome user experience in mind, tailored to NJ State, Medicaid, DMHAS, DOH regulations, helps to survive in FFS environment and increased Medicaid / Medicare / private insurance audits.

It's designed for behavioral health, mental health and addiction treatment providers - outpatient, inpatient, residential, detox, methadone clinic, etc. It has a bed management module for residential providers most EHRs don't have.

Comments: I have frustrated myself at time, but it's really wonderful once you learn the system.

Pros:

Cons:

Comments: I do love the product more than any other EHR that I have used and tell everyone that it is the best one on the market!

Pros:

It is very user friendly. I love that I can easily sign off on notes and it is easy to use for all users.

Cons:

There have been some recent issues with the fact that if you put an email in the email field, if automatically creates a client profile. We do not want this feature and it continues to be a problem. We asked for this to be deleted and it has been almost 2 months and this still has not been completed and we are still not able to use the email field bc if we do, it creates a client portal.

Ease of movement throughout icons. Access of information is thorough.

Cons:

Comments: Pretty good, but feel like I am often in a learning curve on something

Pros:

Usually user friendly but sometimes gliches take too much time to reset-- i.e. drop down menus-not updated Progress and monthly notes- what is needed and not needed

Cons:

Sign-ins and reset of passwords could be a bit easier. I understand the need for levels of security-but would like an easier way to reset password when you forget a new one just entered.

Comments: I'm very happy we decided to go with Zoobook as our EHR

Pros:

Its easy to use and anytime I need help I know I can simply send an email and my request is usually taken care of in minutes

Cons:

In my opinion, there are a lot of unnecessary items found in a clients profile page or when saving a new client or other areas and it makes it a little difficult to navigate because there is so much to see.

Comments: Zoobook is very detailed which is great. However, it seems difficult due to the many tabs, but the training was very thorough. 10/10 for the training.

Pros:

There is a lot of information that can be accessed. Also, I can add in different clients for groups, and I can add different notes or copy&paste for the same note for each client.

Cons:

There are many tabs which can be overwhelming.

Switching to Zoobook

Comments: It was great; everything comes when you learn it. I can say I love this system after receiving full training. I also tell my staff that if they have an issue, they should get back to the Support Team, who will help and train them if needed.

Pros:

When we switched to Zoobook, we were using only a recorded system, not an EHR system. Zoobook is like a dynamic, live website with colors and many functions. I love their billing system; what they have now is very helpful, and they always add more to the system. The Widgets system is also great and very easy to use. As for their Support Team, they are excellent at organizing meetings and replying to emails. They are like magic; with them, there are no problems.

Cons:

Before I got into the recurring meetings with [sensitive content hidden], I thought it was really hard to use the billing system on Zoobook. However, during our meetings with him, he corrected everything, made things easy for us, and also kept following up with us to make sure everything was alright.

Comments: It was great, especially when they implemented the recurring meeting process and the follow-up to ensure everything is okay. They always ask if you have suggestions to improve their system. I love them.

Pros:

Their Support Team always initiates processes to help the client; they don't have a problem establishing many Zoom meetings and giving much of their time to ensure you are satisfied. Their trainers are professionals, and they reply very quickly. I have been with them for a long time and haven't had any problems at all.

Cons:

Sometimes they make updates without letting us know, but the good part is that those updates are always helpful.

To ensure compliance with government regulations, we reached out to the customer support team of the system we use to request customization that would meet our specific requirements. They responded promptly and efficiently, even over the weekend, to ensure that all the necessary features were in place. Their support will be instrumental in helping us pass the audit and maintain compliance with government rules and regulations. I am highly satisfied with their service.

Pros:

The team is fully cognizant of their actions and maintains a highly skilled customer service department that is consistently accessible and accommodating.

Cons:

Thus far, everyone has been very supportive and friendly.

Changing my opinion

Comments: The current experience has been positive, especially after addressing numerous complaints and resolving issues. I hope the system continues to function this effectively. Working with [sensitive content hidden]
has been a pleasure; he is qualified, intelligent, and an excellent support member.

Pros:

The improvements made in their support team are noticeable. Previously, it could take days to receive a response to an email, but now their response time is significantly faster. This could be due to an increase in team members or perhaps more effective training and instructions for the team. Whatever the case, their support team has significantly improved and is now performing exceptionally well.

Cons:

The stabilization of the system, we wake up everyday and waiting for what is the new issue we will find in Zoobook

Zoobook is a Good Choice for SUD Providers

Comments: Our overall experience has been good, and support is responsive to our needs.

Pros:

Tailored for Substance Use Disorder/MH Disorder Treatment Providers specifically. Conforms to NJ Licensure and CARF Accreditation Standards. Works with Agencies to customize as appropriate.

Cons:

The User Manual is very basic; we had to develop our own User Manual internally (which does need constant updating)

Comments: I have been with Zoobook for more than a year, and the system was very great. We had to make some changes, but overall, I had a great time with them.

Pros:

The whole company is very great. Anytime I reach out to them for editing something or creating something, they all help me. It doesn't matter if the person is a manager or a worker; they all help.

They don't have a dialer or direct phone number. However, I reach out to some of them on their phones, and they help me.
