The best pdf program out there

Pros:

easy to convert pdf's to any format and editing and can allow to modify any pdf and create a word document.

Cons:

program is hard to read on high resolution displays. So it is ok on a 1920x1080 display , but on a 4k display you need good eyes

Useful helper.

Pros:

Easy to use. Very useful program. We use every day in company.

Cons:

I only know the benefits. Maybe I'll discover flaws over time.

Poor product and incompatible with MacOS

Comments: Very poor experience. I purchased version 19 on 9 Dec 23. MacOS version was not available. I emailed [sensitive content hidden] to complain that I parted with my money but the product was unavailable. He confirmed that their team were working on the issue and it would be available soon. It's now 3 Jan 24 and since then he has not replied to me email and I still don't have/can use the product I paid for. Very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this company or product to anyone I know.

Pros:

There is nothing to like - Able2Extract took my hard earned money and didn't provide the product I paid for.

Cons:

Don't like being defrauded/ignored ... No will to correct their poor service or treatment of client.

Use of Able2Extract Professional Superior to other offerings

Comments: Very good product but constantly need to contact support regarding updates - this needs to be improved. Have commented on this in previous reviews but no measurable improvement.

Pros:

Smart interface and easy to customize output in various formats

Cons:

Inability to recognize header format and align according to table

Handy Software

Pros:

AutoCAD Conversion. AutoCAD converts PDF but I prefer this software.

Cons:

The price went up. I have to edit and clean up the files after converting but that's OK.

Way too much information required for a review

Comments: Ask a maximum of 5 questions with an option to comment ( not required to complete)

Pros:

I hate having to write paragraphs to review a product. The product may be good but the process of a review stink.

Cons:

Again hate being pestered for a review a good product becomes a horrible product once you have to complete three pages to review.

Performs Better than Adobe Acrobat PDF Conversion to Excel

Comments: Excellent!!

Pros:

In my job, converting pdf to Excel is critical. This license provides me the capability of doing that work with minimal conversion issues. The only problem I had was converting a pdf file that had handwriting on it.

Cons:

Need to be able to convert to newer version of Excel than Excel 2007

PDF to Excel Converter

Comments: Fast and easy to use!

Pros:

I use Able2Extract Professional to convert bank and credit card statements to Excel to make it easy to analyze transactions for periodic financial accounting.

Cons:

I haven't run across any issues to speak of.

Best offline PDF editor ever

Pros:

Powerful and easy to use PDF editing tool

Cons:

A little bit expensive comparing to the online alternatives

Upgraded multiple times and this last one I was stuck unable to use because of license issues. Two days now and zero response - NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Comments: Converting pdf files to other type of documents have never been this easy. You can convert your 100 pages pdf file into excel or word in an instant. The application really saves time and it enables user to be more efficient.

Pros:

Able2Extract is the best application in converting your pdf files into other type of documents. You can easily access it and the interface is just so easy to understand.

Cons:

None so far noted. The application is so easy to understand making it a user friendly application. One of the best.

Long time and happy user

Comments: Over the years I use the pdf to word or excel programs. It saves time, rather than retyping or getting a word or excel original. I also create fillable pdf forms, rather than handwriting in the information.

Pros:

The ability to convert docs from pdf and to create fillable pdf forms are two easy to use features.

Cons:

Once converted to word the word doc contains format codes that need to be adjusted. It would be better to convert to WordPerfect since it easier in WordPerfect to change format codes.

Comments: This software helps me lot to extract PDF files text into different formats hence saves my time everyday. Moreover value for money is quite high because it is not an expensive tool. I never had to go through any serious training to use this software due to its ease of use.

Pros:

1. Having shortcut keys to work efficiently 2. Always shows step by step to procedure to extract the required data 3. Retrieved data are often accurate from the sources 4. Enable users to convert the retrieved data to many file types

Cons:

1. Cannot recognize handwritten words 2. Getting stuck and coming fatal error reports 3. Data not capturing when there are images frequently 4. Imaged text cannot be separated and grant the output

Effective Document Conversion and Control

Comments: I have been able to use the program without worrying about accuracy (Especially Excel exports)

Pros:

The program is simple to use and it has a high accuracy functionality. This saves time as the documents are a great replication of the original but the opportunity to edit and even repurpose the original documents is there. When needing such functionality the program has proved to be robust and simple to work with. Able2 Extract does not interfere with you as a user but their team is available and responsive to my needs and or questions. The program development is not static and it is regularly updated whilst maintaining the "look". This diminishes the down time to learn the program at every stage of development. It is compatible with Microsoft.

Cons:

Perhaps some trainings on the less known parts of the program?

User Since Version 11

Pros:

Been using this software since version 11 and has been critical in my work to convert a PDF into an Excel table for use with my software.

Cons:

New version takes some time to get use to. In older version was able to designate pages to convert, but cannot in this newest version.

Great Product!

Comments: The software is easy to install and very user friendly, I have not had to contact support for help.

Pros:

This software is an excellent tool for extracting schedules from plans. I especially like that it will convert it directly to an Excel spreadsheet and maintain the majority of the formatting.

Cons:

I have run across a few fonts that the OCR does not convert very accurately.

Pros:

It took me ages to know about the benefits of the upgrade to the professional version

Easy to use product does the job

Comments: We've had a positive experience using the program, it's much more robust and cleaner than when we first began using it over 12 years ago.

Pros:

This is easy to install, use, and it gets the job done. We use it to convert PDFs to useable word and excel documents we receive from clients.

Cons:

The formatting can be wonky after the conversion is done, and it takes some fiddling with the settings to get it right.

Pros:

This program is awesome. Apart from being able to convert a pdf into an excell sheet, or so many other file format conversions, I recently discovered, you can tak a pdf that does not offer searchable text, or is basically an image that has text in it, and convert it to a complete text file. Making it able to copy and paste, search and much more functionality

Cons:

I dont really have anything bad to say about this program. The only thing they do a lot of updates and that requires an upgrade, granted at a discounted rate, but honestly the last version works so well, I dont always upgrade as there is no need.

The software does what you want it to do

Pros:

It's fast and saves me a lot of time when converting data to Excel. It has not problems with PDF forms when converting

Cons:

Sometimes the coloumn layout gets warped a bit. The fonts don't always come through as per original document

Great Product for Price

Comments: We are very pleased.

Sometimes it converts into weird layouts.

Able2Extract is an excellent product for converting PDF to Excel, Word, etc. and for editing PDF's.

Comments: Time savings!

Pros:

Very easy to use. Generally 99% to 100% accurate with conversions to Microsoft Office products. Version 12 is the most accurate regarding conversion - that said prior versions were very good as well. Editing PDF's is easy as well. Can't wait for the next version!

Cons:

Occasionally when converting a PDF document and doing a specific selection of the document the conversion does the whole page or additional areas I did not select. I've notice with Version 12 this happens much less.
