Comments: The product has consistently proven to be reliable, offering an array of features that become even more valuable with deeper exploration. In the three years I've used this product, it has delivered 100% performance without fail, every single day.
Pros:
Platform is user friendly, easy to navigate and makes patching Fun.
Cons:
Unable to Deploy Windows Feature Versions without ISOs
Alternatives Considered: Microsoft 365
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: The product has consistently proven to be reliable, offering a wide range of features that become even more valuable with deeper exploration. One standout aspect is its ability to seamlessly fetch both third-party updates and Microsoft updates, consolidating them into a single, streamlined platform. In the three years I've used this product, it has delivered 100% performance without fail, every single day
Unified Endpoint Management Solution
Comments: Endpoint Central is a powerful tool for IT administrators looking to streamline endpoint management and enhance security across the organization. I appreciate the wide range of features that cover almost all aspect of the endpoint management including patch management, software deployment, asset management, remote control and mobile device management.
Pros:
Endpoint Central allows us to manage servers, laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets from a single console which is highly efficient for organizations with diverse device ecosystems. Endpoint Central offers platforms for managing legacy and modern devices.
Cons:
Due to macOS's high level of security, Endpoint Central is not entirely capable of managing MacBook Pro and iMac devices. Lack of historical reports that provide information about configurations that we have defined and deployed to the devices via Endpoint Central.
Alternatives Considered: Hexnode UEM and JumpCloud Directory Platform
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: I choose Manage Engine Endpoint Central because of its comprehensive feature set, ease of use and cost-effectiveness.
Updated Review after 7 mo We won’t renew annual subscription
Comments:
Not extremely pleased with Endpoint Central Cloud UEM. For what we ultimately use in the suite we could’ve saved money and used either a different ManageEngine / ZoHo product or a different software altogether.
I’m not meaning to sound so hard on them, but I’m just not happy with what we got for the cost. We won’t be renewing the annual subscription.
Pros:
Documentation is very helpful, customer service is generally very good and prompt at answering. There are a lot of included features in endpoint central uem edition (we used endpoint central uem cloud). Windows OS features work often. Remote access feature is good. Patch management works.
Cons:
Limited features for MacOS and extremely few for Linux although some problems may be limited by the OS. Enrollment was a pain for Mac and Linux and provided few benefits. (No MdM for Linux. MDM required and included for macOS, but provided few benefits.) Advertising on the ManageEngine website and Endpoint Central website promised way more than it delivers. Especially for multi OS features. Very windows-centric.
Alternatives Considered: Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Jamf Pro is way too expensive. Intune doesn’t play nicely with non-Microsoft windows os. Intune would have too limited functions. Jamf is a big question mark because the cost is too prohibitive.
Manager Engine Endpoint Central
Comments: Overall I am happy with the product because OS Deployer works great.
Pros:
We mainly use it for patch management and OS Deployment.
Cons:
Patching process can be a bit flaky sometimes and hard to know why it failed on a certain computer
Alternatives Considered: SmartDeploy
Reasons for Choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Cheaper option and included OS Deployer.
Switched From: SmartDeploy
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Price and features that are available. Easy to setup.
Very powerful tool
Comments: For now we are very happy with the tool and all the features it includes. We think it is very powerful.
Pros:
All-in-one tool which allows you to fully-manage your computers, and keep them up-to-date avoiding security breaches which could be used by malicious actors. See at a glance how secure your systems are and how to make them more secure.
Cons:
For some tasks the GUI could not being as much friendly as it should, and it has a little learning curve, but I think that's normal. Although the cost per computer is not very expensive, the price could be a problem in an environment with a lot of computers.
Alternatives Considered: PDQ Deploy & Inventory and GFI LanGuard
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: It seems to be a better tool, with more functionalities that we needed, and better performance. Additionally, we needed a cloud-based tool, and GFI Languard it was not.
A good MDM solution for the company
Comments: Pretty good so far, managed all corp. devices there and have a lot of logs and graphics about their statuses
Pros:
Flexibility and intuitive interface, a lot of manuals and instructions
Cons:
Clunky synchronization between cloud version server and hosts
Alternatives Considered: Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Price, possibilities, knowledge base, reputation and reviews

There are a few areas where i Don't like. Complex Setup: Some users report that the initial setup and configuration can be quite complex and time-consuming, especially for those not familiar with the platform. Performance Issues: In certain case there is performance issues. Cost: Pricing is high if we wanted to buy more license. These points are typically areas where users feel there is room for improvement.

Pros:

ManageEngine Endpoint Review
Comments: Very positive and looking to use this with our current company.
Pros:
ManageEngine Endpoint Central is still being tested in LAT Apparel's infrastructure and so far ManageEngine endpoint management solution has simplifies IT administration with a user-friendly interface. Comprehensive Device Management Solution with Minor Drawbacks
Comments: The tool helps us simplifies the management of all our devices.

It simplifies the management of all our devices, from Windows to macOS and Linux, into one central platform, making it easy to keep everything secure and up to date.
Cons:
Although generally cost-effective, some features are only accessible in higher-tier plans, which may not be ideal for smaller organizations with limited budgets. Additionally, the licensing structure can be challenging to understand.
There's none for anyone!
Comments:
Used for more than 5 years, in cloud and onprem.
New features are always added and the ease of use has never changed; includes the management of mobile devices natively without adding additional licenses
Pros:
- Ease of use - Stable software - Easy deployment - Endpoint security features - Anti-ransomware and NGAV - Patching never seen so easy to do - Software distribution 1000 times superior to competitors
Cons:

Endpoint Central Review
Comments: Excellent tool. Well worth the investment.
Pros:
Automation - Being able to set scans and then walk away and patches will be deployed. Admin Tools - Helpful when on a remote session. Configuration - Being able to setup department specific configurations that are time consuming to manually build. Well built reporting tools.
Cons:
SDP integration - would be to import data from Service Desk Pro into the computer details. (Ex. assignment, department etc.) More granular control over the notification pop ups.
Alternatives Considered: NinjaOne
Reasons for Choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central: We had already implemented other ME products. Decided to switch and keep with the same vendor.
Switched From: PDQ Deploy & Inventory
Reasons for Switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central: Overall, ME EndpointCentral is more robust and fit our requirements.

A Productive 5+ Years of Journey with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Comments: My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been highly positive. Over the years, it has proven to be a dependable and comprehensive tool for managing our endpoint infrastructure. The platform has simplified our daily IT tasks, from patch management, remote software & configuration deployement to remote troubleshooting, helping us maintain a secure and compliant environment. While there are areas where further enhancements would add even more value, such as additional integrations and feature parity between the cloud and on-premise versions, the consistent support and regular updates from ManageEngine demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement. It’s a platform I rely on for efficient, streamlined endpoint management, and it has greatly contributed to our IT team's productivity.
Pros:
Having used ManageEngine Endpoint Central (earlier known as Desktop Central) for over 5+ years, what stands out most is its all-in-one functionality for endpoint management. The platform is highly reliable for automating patch management, software deployment, and remote troubleshooting. It’s user-friendly and provides in-depth reports, helping us stay on top of system compliance and security. The remote control feature is robust, making it easy to provide quick support to end-users without interrupting their workflow. I also appreciate the regular updates and support provided by ManageEngine – they listen to feedback and consistently enhance the product. Overall, Endpoint Central has saved us a lot of time and effort, allowing us to focus on more strategic IT goals.
Cons:
One notable limitation is the need for more integrations with other IT management and security tools. Expanding the integration options would make it easier to align Endpoint Central with broader IT ecosystems. Another area for improvement is aligning the cloud version's features more closely with the on-premise offering (like Endpoint DLP Module). While the cloud version is convenient, it still lacks some of the more advanced functionalities of the on-premise setup. Addressing these gaps would make Endpoint Central a stronger choice, particularly for organizations aiming to transition to cloud-first infrastructures.
Securing the Infra with Endpoint Era
Pros:
Every aspect of the product and its features are amazing and a one stop solution for all your IT needs to take full control of the endpoints , in case if you have challenges in the new implementation or troubleshooting the issue the support team will always be quick on their feet to resolve it for you.
Cons:
As I stated in previous comments it was a savior and one of the best product , no cons noticed so far if i come across will for sure flag it
Manage Engine is awesome
Comments: An amazing experience so far . This company actively listens to the community that uses their product and implements some of the suggestions . This program has come very far as it relates to this application
Pros:
Manage Engine makes it easy to manage endpoints and perform system updates , standardize administrator accounts do inventory . Endpoint gives users the power to do more with less time and effort
Cons:
Some aspects of the patch management and os deployment are unclear but ManageEngine is actively committed to improving on these matters
Good solution for all companies, even small ones.
Comments: Their tech support is great! Even during the evaluation phase (or using the free product). Quick response and great follow up.
Pros:
It alllows me to see the status of my systems without having to log on to each one.
Cons:
They have many products and there is overlap in what is provided. It's somewhat hard to figure out exactly which product gives what is needed without adding extra features and extra cost.
fully featured product critical for our daily operations
Comments: We use many Manage Engine products, and Endpoint Central is the one which we probably use the most. It is an essential tool for our day-to-day operations, and it does its job exceptionally well.
Pros:
third-party patching and asset management. remote control and management for remote workers
Cons:
configuration is extensive, but that is to be expected based on what we use the product for. there is always fine tuning
Heading in the correct Direction
Comments: Manage Engine is a product that is heading toward the correct direction, useful for those with full access. Agent can be installed via GPO, and manually.
Pros:
Centralize control, flexible with deployment, management, and vulnerabilities. Have a lot of powerful tools to use, if used correctly.
Cons:
Managing the Threats by Software Vulnerabilities, hard to filter and organize devices in this view. Software deployment seems to need silent parameters, softwares would show up with a black box missing the GUI or just fails. Need a Reinstall GPO to perfectly make sure devices have working agent, this is still soemthing I'm struggling with as 300+ devices are showing more than 2 months of inactive.

Endpoint management in a centralized and automated way
Pros:
Dashboards with real-time information on the vulnerability status of my endpoints. It allows you to have a real status and take action directly on the computers affected by a vulnerability from the same console.
Cons:
OS deployment is not compatible with Linux operating systems
Better than far more expensive management software, with even better support.
Comments: I have used other products from Zoho, and had an amazing experience, this one is no different. The support is great, easy to reach, in some cases just a chat button away. And they are knowledgeable and want to help.
Pros:
the Support, the software is great dont get me wrong, but the support is amazing. imagine just clicking a button and getting realtime support via chat.. seems like a fairy tale right? well its a reality with this software. the other benefits are just about every option you could desire is available, OS deployment, software deployment, self service portal, reports reports reports..
Cons:
its a little overwhelming at first, until you have time to use it and learn. Can only add full license users, we wanted to just add a user to pull reports. that's not an option.
All in one package
Comments: This product offers excellent value for the cost. Its ease of use is another key reason to choose it.
Pros:
What I appreciate most about Manage Engine is the complete control it offers over all our devices from a single platform. I particularly value the ability to remotely access these devices as needed. The capability to test and deploy weekly patches and block applications in real-time has been a significant advantage for our company. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and implementing upgrades has been straightforward. Additionally, the customer support forum has been instrumental in resolving any issues we encounter.
Cons:
At times, the interface can be a bit unintuitive, but by using the guides on the ManageEngine portal or contacting technical support, we always manage to accomplish our tasks.
