Exceptional Time Tracking Solution with Excellent Free Features

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: My experience with Clockify over the past 3 years has been outstanding. It’s reliable, intuitive, and continues to improve with regular updates. The app is perfect for tracking time efficiently, whether for individual or team use, and the free features are remarkably generous. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid time management solution!

Pros:

What I appreciate most about Clockify is the simplicity and flexibility it offers. The interface is user-friendly, making time tracking easy even for someone with minimal tech experience. The ability to categorize tasks by projects, clients, and time intervals provides clear insights into productivity. The fact that it offers unlimited users and projects in the free plan is a huge plus, making it accessible for freelancers and teams alike. Integrating it with other tools like Asana and Trello has also been seamless and valuable for my workflow.

Cons:

One thing I would like to see improved is the reporting feature on the free plan. While the basics are covered, more advanced customizations or visualizations could elevate the experience even further without needing a premium plan.

The best time tracking app by far - highly recommend, with a few suggestions.

Comments: Very very good. I've been using Clockify since 2020 across many different ventures. I've written handbooks for using Clockify and run training sessions with my teams to implement it into our operational workflows. It's truly my favorite, I've gotten so many people to begin using it!

Pros:

I love the way I can color code and categorize my timelog. The way the reviews operate is so beneficial! I'm very visual and it helps me understand things a great deal. The option to manually log as well as have a timer is amazing.

Cons:

I am a freelancer with a vast array of clients and different retainer rates. The ability to have multiple "billable" amounts available would be very helpful. I also wish you can have an option to see tags in the PDF report, due to the nature of how I've set up my clients and their projects. The ability to search for entries via a search bar would be really helpful as well.

Best Tool for detailed time tracking with projects & clients

3.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: I really like the user interface of Clockify, its simple and looks good but is not overdesigned or has too many details. It's a very clear experience when working with it.

Pros:

To me, Clockify is a pretty good time tracking platform for personal use or business, if you want to track tasks/ logs per project & client. It has many useful features like Clients, Projects, Project Tasks, Invoices. Time logs can have many fields or just as few as you want, that's essential to me. A task can be added to a project and a project task and can be labelled with tags, so you can categorize your logs.

Cons:

To me as a personal user with only a few tasks, the cost for an according plan is high, as I only need some features of other plans. I would like it better if there was an option to add single features as kind of add-on for a fair price. The mobile app is great too, but some useful features aren't yet implemented. But for basic logging it works, and more details can be added via web on desktop later.

Best time tracking tool I've ever used

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: I've been using Clockify for the past 4+ years and I honestly love it. The colour coded projects make for an easily read graphics, and all the different reports are easy to check what and when you've worked on something. This is especially vital to me because I'm a freelancer and it allows me charge my clients a lot more easily, as well as estimate how much would a project cost based on my previous similar projects' graphs.

Pros:

Colour coded projects, ability to add as many different projects as you need to, adding new clients, checking out your reports and analyzing how you spent your time while working easily.

Cons:

I can't retroactively edit my hourly rate which makes the calculator redundant in most cases as I have to calculate my price once again from scratch.

Great system - although could do with some final tweaks to make it amazing!

Comments: Overall we do love it...! It is really simple to use and even the Google Chrome addon is brilliant (downside is its easy to forget its on!! but also links across each version of Chrome [PC, Tablet, Phone] if you forget to close off your clock!])

Pros:

Very simple to use system, once it has been set up. As it can be as simple as a few clicks and its counting your time.

Cons:

In as much as it is a simple system to use, it can be a big of pig to set up... as the set up isn't particularly initiative (still getting to grips with the Projects and Tags section) -i.e. we dont seem to be able to get our heads around getting cross client projects (payroll, BDM, emails, accounts) correct... although that may be more a PICNIC issue than a system issue!
