Highly used Communication Platform

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: The most used and secure software for internal communication in any organization with good performance and reliability.

Pros:

> We can manage and arrange our calendars and shifts to make the team aware. > All activities and internal communication can be done with proper ease and can see and check later too. > Meetings and call performances are good.

Cons:

In Android there is little lag in working of application as compare to Windows or other OS.

Teams gets the job done!

4.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: It’s a very easy way to access all your information in one place, while limiting what others can do and/or see between the groups/teams

Pros:

I like being able to connect my meetings with specific Teams and the ease of uploading and editing docs through my specific “teams”.

Cons:

If I create a specific Team meeting and want to later add an additional person, I can’t just send information to them - it resends to everyone else. Also, sometimes the viewing of documents don’t look quite as they should when opened on a desktop app, such as Word.

Good but with reliability issuees and without GNU/linux Support!

3.0 2 months ago New

Comments: In fact, despite all the problems, it can get better with good software and some development. But unfortunately I can't trust it at the moment.

Pros:

I use Microsoft Teams at a University. It is nice to have a complete software. We can share files with our colleagues. We can also save time by working jointly on some documents. It is also nice that it is extensible and has a lot of add-ons. For example, we have installed the tasks application, so we can assign tasks immediately and follow who is doing them. It's also nice to have a smartphone app.

Cons:

Although it is a nice software in general, I don't want to work with it for two main reasons. Firstly, Linux support is very bad. Secondly, sometimes our files are lost. The interface is slow. Recently, some of our files were lost, including the pictures of the teams we set up. Also, when I tried to use the Office application in it, I typed the title and it deleted it immediately during autosave. I was using it before because it was the official system of our school, but now I'm starting to think that we need to switch to a different system. It is also necessary to back up the files frequently.

Teams: One Program to Rule Them All

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I am an administrator and also work within it to manage my department's daily activities, chats, project management.

Pros:

I like how much capability the program offers. The features offered give you the ability to excel in team collaboration, communication, management and so much more, instead of needing multiple other programs that do the same thing.

Cons:

It has some limitations of using other microsoft programs like excel and PowerPoint as stand alone programs since their features work best that way, but Teams gets you mostly there.

Teams is powerful yet frustrating to use

4.0 3 weeks ago New

Pros:

Microsoft Teams is probably the most powerful communication tool on the market. It has a lot of features.

Cons:

It is probably the least intuitive product on the market. It is as if the people who designed the product don't use it. How things work and where functions are located doesn't make sense
