An all- inclusive suite that elevate my business

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Google Workspace allow my team to share ideas instantly, join virtual meetings, collaborate on realtime and many more. It being cloud based outweighs lots of inefficiencies of isolated and computer dependent business productivity tools

Pros:

Google Workspace is an all inclusive suite for most of my business tasks. It is cost effective and simple to implement. It's UI is sleek and glossy making it soo easy to utilize. One thing I appreciate about it is it's ever- evolving nature which means we are always on the forefront of any advancement and new functionalities from time to time. It's management is quite simple also because the configuration environment is minimalistic. Mobility is Google WorkSpace middle name for it is 100% web. All its application can be accessed through a browser so you don't have to be connected to a specific device having the freedom of access from anywhere and on any device.Google Workspace is designed to meet strict privacy and security standard which help with safety of data and information

Cons:

I appreciate just how Google Workspace comprised of many business apps under one roof which is such a brilliant idea

Great alternative to other Office Suites

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Only working with it since December 18 as it is my companies preferred office suite, I found it very easy to adapt to and a little bit more intuitive to use. Unlearning 30 years of using a different platform was the only thing that makes it hard. If GW is all you have every been exposed to it is easy to learn and operate within.

Pros:

Ease of use. With over 30 years experience with the major competitor, Google Workspace was very easy to pick up. Help and training resources are readily available, and easy to understand. The interoperability between google branded programs in workspace is pretty intuitive and seamless.

Cons:

It some ways it is not as robust as Microsoft, but it makes up for it in ease of use. Google does not have open API with some third party programs (DocTract) for instance. Which does require us to have a subscription to Microsoft as well. There are some advanced functions that have been brought into Power Point that Google slides does not keep up with. I wish they did. I would still recommend Google as a good alternative.

Google workspace review

3.0 last month New

Comments: comparing to other products in market, it's not worthy

Pros:

cost effective compared to other products, and it helps to manage mails, meetings and instant chat from same place.

Cons:

it doesn't notify about upcoming meetings until unless we open calendars in a separate tab on browser. As it is not app based, this doesn't provide any kind of notifications. cannot add new participants manually during a meeting.

Desktop Apps for Power-Users

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Overall, my experience with Google Workspace has been good. I wish there was better support and desktop apps for power-users.

Pros:

The Google Workspace ecosystem is pretty great from top to bottom. It's deeply integrated so that various Workspace apps are available from within other apps. Additionally, the syncing is sold and file sharing is as granular as I need it to be.

Cons:

I consider myself a power-user and would prefer a desktop app that leverages keyboard shortcuts and native gestures so that I can optimize my time in Google Workspace. Additionally, Google Workspace customer support is difficult to track down.

Great option for document management

4.0 2 months ago New

Pros:

It's a strong contender, with lots of free or low cost functionality. The file management is easy to use and requires no training. Files are kept up to date without any possibility of lost work or outdated versions, but previous versions can be easily recovered.

Cons:

Permissions are limited. Calendar functionality is behind that of the competition.
