Comments: Till now we have the best experience with pCloud as it is managing our company data very efficiently and maintaining the confidentiality.

Pros:

Large files can also be uploaded to pcloud, also we can open multimedia files in pcloud as pcloud have inbuilt multimedia players.

Cons:

Speed to data transfer, upload, download and access is some what slow if we compare it with its competitors.

Impressive storage and backup!

Comments: I had a great experience the first year on their monthly/annual plan, I like it so much I purchased the Lifetime deal and have zero regrets.

Pros:

Pcloud is super easy to use and set up. It is very economical if you want a monthly or annual subscription. However, they also offer a one-time lifetime deal at the time of this review. Which basically pays for itself in the first year of use.

Cons:

I had an error of the drive on my machine but customer service trouble shot my issue and resolved it pretty fast and easy.

Easy to use, quite easy to configure, great to use on several systems.

Comments: Having tried several cloud systems before for uploading my stuff, I found pCloud very easy and comfortable to use and will use it for the time to come or until it folds - which I hope, never happens. By the way, I am a free user, having granted the 50 GB during an introduction campaign of the service, I also like the social media backup feature. With Facebook, for instance, I was able to immediately connect it to pCloud without any issues and is backing up some or all of my albums rather smoothly. It even kept the folder structure intact by categorizing all my Facebook images in their respective directories, PCloud is a cloud storage program for all those who are looking for a comprehensive storing solution. The easy-to-use interface provides the user with all the brilliant multi-tasking features for business as well as personal use. PCloud headquarters are in Switzerland, and the advance thinking team of pCloud will provide best solutions according to the growing market, All in all, free cloud storage can certainly benefit the casual user. Those who need to store large files and perform serious backups should consider the paid route.

Pros:

Option to enable automatic photo/video uploads from the mobile app, Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and Free!Up to 20 GB of free storage, Can search through all your files from the website and mobile app, Easy to use, just does not do the job. Concept and format are good, operationally flat out bad. Look elsewhere, Option to enable automatic photo/video uploads from the mobile app.

Cons:

Limited support options, Encryption costs extra, The synchronization can be very slow on the computer and it happened that my PC froze because of the sync, Can not password protect shared files/folders, RANDOM Speeds on download, Hard to sometimes get hold of Customer Services on the phone but they respond to emails straight away.

Great Dropbox and Gdrive contender

Comments: I've been using pCloud extensively for the past 4 years and it's been a great journey seeing all the improvements they make (like adding Crypto Folder and Backup possibilities).

Pros:

My most favourite feature is the pCloud Drive. It's a virtual drive which lets you work on your PC without taking hard drive space

Cons:

On desktop I'm missing some video speed controls like 0.75x, 1.25x and 1.75x. But luckily Video Speed Controller chrome extension is helping there. On mobile it's even less video options.

A good security and storage application

Comments: It is a good solution, we tried it. Really work on security but had some issues.

Pros:

This solution has great sync capabilities, we like their public link sharing, it is very secure allowing to encrypt files. We loved their UI because it looks very clean and is easy to use.

Cons:

One of the issues with this solution is that sometimes it runs slow, in another times uploading of big files fails completely, and we did not like the fact we need to pay extra fr encryption.

Replaces other cloud storages

Comments: We've moved from other cloud storages to pCloud, even for personal use , especially with that one off payment , it made sense to switch.

Pros:

Fully encrypted data. pricing is fair. (for personal its actually one-time payment which is really attractive deal too) for teams, you can create different access levels (business pcloud) i think the backup is up to 180 days now, (personally only needed a backup that was 30 days old)

Cons:

business plans could use a lower tier for lower prices..

Review: pCloud Business

Comments: I stopped creating countless backups and multiple versions of the papers because of the restore capability. I already have plans to transfer all of my personal data to the Pcloud.

Pros:

Pcloud is quite simple to set up and utilize. If you desire a monthly or annual subscription, it is quite affordable. At the time of this review, they do, however, also provide a one-time lifetime deal. which, in the first year of use, essentially pays for itself.

Cons:

It would be nice if pCloud Drive allowed for document editing and collaboration. I really can't think of any negative aspects of this program aside from that.

Great and affordable cloud storage

Comments: As a user and customer of Pcloud Business I can say personally that I will stay and remain a customer and user of it along with recommend this platform for all your business cloud storage, file sharing/management, and file recovery business needs. especially if you want an affordable user friendly option.

Pros:

I like how Pcloud Business looks to the eye as a user. I like how easy I is to upload files, share files, and I love that you're u can recover them easily. I like how easy it is to use and I love that is is an affordable service as compared to other softwares that are way more expensive but offer similar services.

Cons:

Honestly there wasn't anything I really had an issue with or dislike with this software or company.

The cloud storage paradise I always dreamed of!

Comments: The security and privacy it provides are aspects that stand out in a special way. End-to-end encryption ensures that my data is always protected, giving me peace of mind and absolute confidence in the integrity of my business information.

Pros:

I cannot contain my excitement as I talk about how much this service has impressed me. I must say that what I liked the most about this platform is its unlimited cloud storage capacity. I had never before found a cloud solution that allowed me to have so many files, documents and resources at my disposal. I can say without a doubt that my productivity has skyrocketed to new levels.

Cons:

If I have to point something out, it would be great to have some additional advanced features. I understand that this platform is focused on offering a seamless cloud storage and collaboration experience, but if there were some additional features for data analysis or integration with other business tools, that would be absolute perfection.

Crypto folder

Pros:

pCloud worked for us. What's really cool is that they sell lifetime plans for a great price. If you don't need that you can use it for free though and even use your Facebook to open account. Every plan is cheaper than you'll find it anywhere else. pCloud shows your storage data in a chart so it's easy to keep up with how much space is used or free and what's in there. I like the amount of settings and how much control I have over everything. There's even a super secure option that nobody except the account holder can get to- the crypto folder.

Cons:

When I touch the attatch file icon on email or text message there's no shortcut or preview of pcloud files like there is for all the others. It'd be cool if they fixed that and got features to the same level too.

Best platform for cloud storage and file sharing

Comments: My usage of pcloud was excellent. pCloud offers a secure, reliable and easy-to-use cloud storage platform with an affordable pricing. It has a good user interface.i was even about to stream videos and music. I could also share files and even access the files on other devices

Pros:

it provides top-level encryption and high transfer speed, regardless of the file size. It additionally helps you keep all your information secured, as it makes backups automatically, and provides up to 30-day file version history.

Cons:

No major problems encountered just that pCloud does not offer a two-factor authentication, which can be a security concern for some users.

PCloud like DropBox but economic

Pros:

I realllly love using the API. I've spent a lot of time trying to create a custom integration with PCloud so I can sync files from anywhere. I also found out they have new ways of adding things to your PCloud using an internet extension/add-on. There is also a way to sync files from other accounts like DropBox and Google Drive it's awesome. There are so many possibilities and even an android app! I love PClouds features.

Cons:

I do wish their API documentation was a bit better. Took me a solid 1 month to debug and build a working example for my chrome extension I'm building. I really thing that the login methods server side could be updated. They assume you only login via a popup and don't offer good secure options for server side authentication. (sorry for a bit technical). Real world things I don't like is syncing large project files. It doesn't take a while with the software and I manage 100 GB projects sometimes and I need them synced quickly.

best in the Cloud

Comments: we used to use copy.com by Baricudda until they stopped developing it and our remote workflow became dependant on being able to upload files and send download links. When we tried to find an affordable solution with the same functionality pCloud was the only real option. The more we have used it the more it has proven itself to be the clear leader in cloud storage. The amount of functionality and the rock-solid performance with a lifetime subscription has made me stop even looking at what else is available. They also offer encryption.

Pros:

The most important bit for me using pCloud is the ability to email direct download links to files or folders of files. The next favorite feature for me is the ease of navigating the pCloud web app. I can be anywhere and as long as I have my phone with me I can easily dig up a file and email a link to clients or printers. Another selling point for me is being able to drag and drop from my desktop to the web portal directory for uploads. Everything with pCloud has worked as intended from day one. We use it every day and it is an integral part of our office. I also love the stats. You can see the traffic on your links. You send a link to a file and you know if they downloaded the file. Great. Also, they have recently added the ability to brand your download links with your logo - fantastic.

Cons:

My main "con" with pCloud would take a lot to fix. I would love it if you could drag and drop to move files within the directories in the web portal but that would be a huge undertaking and is not worth the effort. For a long while the desktop app crashed anytime we tried to connect (Windows 10) but it was eventually updated and has been working solidly again, though we are more wary of it now and do not rely on it as much.

pCloud - one cloud sollution that have something extra

Comments: 1st rule of backup - to have a 3 copy on diferent medias and in different palces.
Until recent that wasn't a problem (DVD, USB sticks, portable HDs) but today we are bombarded with digital products, medias and contents.
For example, new AAA games have usually more than 20 Gb. Smartphone camera can shoot a photo of 2+ Mb or 1080p video without any problem, and next generations of smartphones push this boundaries more forward. Digital creators give freely most of their work and every year quantities/quality is also moving forward. Internet speed is also moving forward making more material downloadable and so on.
Question is: where You can make a backup of so much data? Cheap DVDs - too small but sometimes usefull, BlueRay Disc - slightly too expensive, USB - sometimes they stop working, portable HDs - perfect but expensive, have tendencies to multiply. Other problem is where to store them? People usually store them all in same drawer or closet. And that is also a problem.
So what backup mix can be used? I personaly prefer DVD - cloud - cloud.
Looking for some cloud with so needed space I arrived to pCloud.
There are different subsription plans:
- free with 20 Gb (that is nice start) but sometimes there are promotions so You can start with 50 Gb (nicer),
- premium with 500 Gb (we are geting serious)
- premium plus with 2 Tb (that is very serious).
I would sugest to take full year plan as it's ussually 20 % cheaper than monthly. In business version there are some interesting features. Most interesting to me are:
- posibility to create diferent teams in same company but with different permisions so that data are not muliplies with several foldres for several users.
- multilayered date-related backup so it's possible to rool back a file version from some time ago that was overwriten or lost,
- activity log for all files,
- team instant messaging. Work with pCloud, until now, was perfect, no flaws and I can suggest this cloud service to other possible users.

Pros:

Simple to use, storage capacity, multilayered backup, team permisions...

Cons:

As citizen of EU I would like that my data is stored outside US. More customization would be nice. Cloud encription is extra charged???For a server on US soil?

Audio and video production, photo editing.

Comments: The very good speed in syncing. Good UI.

Pros:

I'll be honest in this review. Positives, and some suggestions for improvements. First of all: my sincere compliments go to the development team that managed to create dazzling sync speeds. Great! Uploads via Safari browser are really fast. Way much better than DropBox, OneDrive, Google Drive and iCloud Drive. I tested the speeds of these cloud services intensively, having accounts on all of them, and cannot come to another conclusion: very good. The user interface (UI) in both macOS and iOS is OK. It is intuitive, fast, and does not go with the latest layout fashion of "much unused white space on the screen". The compact UI suits me very well. I wanna see information on the screen, not fancy white spaces :-). Good choice! I work with a lot of audio (productions and samples), video and graphics. Finding them on pCloud works good, and swapping through a list of pictures works really fast, on both macOS and iOS. The audio player on iOS is good and fast. Streaming audio and video works well, on both macOS and iOS. Good. The option to sync any folder on my Mac is just great. No longer the need to drag all folders and files into one sync folder (like in DropBox, OneDrive). I am an intensive user of DEVONthink Pro Office (http://www.devontechnologies.com), and I need speedy synchronization between several Macs in my working environment. I put a -so called- "syncstore" on pCloud Drive and did some severe testing. Conclusion: happy, very fast. To me this is important.

Cons:

The iPad app may need some polishing. E.g.: from time to time, Pages documents cannot be previewed: an error message appears. When I edit that Pages document and save it back to pCloud, then the preview is OK. Another improvement that would suit me very well is full text search. Google Drive and OneDrive (and the business version of DropBox) have this feature. It would be great to be able to search for data within a document, and have a highlighted search result.

Easy sharing without losing security

Comments: We all liked that Pcloud combines easy sharing with security. I did not have concerns of running low on storage space, such a relief.

Pros:

Business Pcloud gives plenty of storage space for a good price and supports all of the documents and files that we need to use. It has good user control settings and security settings, nice to have with multiple users. Being collaborative and easy sharing are certainly pros.

Cons:

Syncing can be slow and sometimes starts over. Trying to organize your files is difficult, the folders don't want to allow editing sometimes.. organization is a priority for me. The constant updates can make everything slow. The prices are okay but there arent many business plans to choose from.

Unlimited cloud storage

Pros:

Unlike many top players, you get unlimited space. Sure most of us probably don't need more than 1TB, but when it comes to store photo and 4K video unlimited is what you need. You can also share files publicly, under the traffic limit of 10TB.

Cons:

Sometimes the network might be a bit slow, and uploading large files can take time. The web app has some glitches and sometimes you need to reload the page. The PC app is much better so be sure to have it installed.

Great for Cold Storage

Comments: I recommend this software for anyone have loads of cold data, that could consume much HDD storage.

Pros:

I am an old user of Cloud services. I found this service is the best comparing to GDrive and Dropbox. The price for a lifetime storage of 2TB is really good. The best I like about it is that it will never take a storage from my HDD, so it works as an additional storage drive. I prefer this option as I usually store files for a very long time with no use.

Cons:

Mobile app is not perfect, its functionality is much below the PC software. I face difficulties to adapt it with my Android.

Customer Service is terrible - functions are half-baked

Comments: The software is very processor heavy and doesn't allocate memory well when syncing. The customer service does not understand what the advanced features of the product do and can't help resolve any issues. I've used the product with some trivial issues that I was able to resolved but once I needed to reach out to customer service, they were unable to proceed. I would advise against this solution if data integrity and accessibility is something your organization requires.

Pros:

For the very basic file storage and syncing, the software is great.

Cons:

Customer support does not understand the issue you are trying to resolve.

pcloud, a perfect tool for cloud backup

Comments: In our case, we use pCloud to have a backup in the cloud, outside our facilities and to provide us with an alternative to our local backup. We have had problems with a server that has a lot of files. But overall we are very satisfied.

Pros:

For a single payment you can get a very large storage space to back up your data in the cloud.in addition, it offers a client that synchronizes, etc.

Cons:

If the number of files is very large, the client that takes care of the synchronization needs a large amount of space for the cache. In some cases, it is a problem.

It's ok for a free plan

Comments: I use pcloud mainly to store personal files, photos and documents. the interface is not so convenient and when sharing files there are very long links.

Pros:

I have been using the free account for several years. I was impressed with the challenge of hacking the crypto folder some time ago. But I'm definitely not (and I wasn't then) willing to pay a subscription fee for storing information. I really like the new idea of ​​buying a place in the cloud.

Cons:

I have been using the service as part of a mobile service package for many years. Everything is top notch, but the prices are staggering for a year. I would be happy to upgrade, but BGN 100 per year or BGN 300 for life for 500 GB ... it's kind of a lot. Backup is a top service and I mainly use it! Boldly forward and only up, and prices down

A better file sync/sharing alternative for creative folks

Pros:

Love the media player that allows you to play your music and video files right from within the app. When you share files it lets the recipient play the files without downloading which is great for musicians. Love that the app backs up your mobile devices media files too. The price point is very fair for the amount of storage you get and they have a lifetime option as well.

Cons:

I do wish the media player saved your spot when you close and open the file. It starts from the beginning whenever you close and reopen the file.

Best and Safe Alternative if Dropbox

Pros:

Very negligible yet crucial feature for a users like me - The visible drive in the Windows is the best thing about pCloud. Despite of being a native product, even Microsoft’s Onedrive doesn’t provide this.

Cons:

Many time in past it happened where I unable to delete certain files / folders. It deletes files / folders but it restored it. Like I said , it occasionally happened in past I haven’t seen any similar thing recently.

Great features and prices, but awful bugs and erros

Comments: it can be a very good alternative to services requring a payment every year after all the bugs and errors will be resolved

Pros:

- Great features combination: real-time backup and special backup (you can backup facebook, gdrive, dropox and other services you use) plus FUSE - you see all the special backups as if they were regular files on a separate drive and can access them immediately in Finder/Explorer - Intuitive interface - Very good security - Lifetime option - pay once and foget, don't have to renew the license and pay every year

Cons:

- Keeps doing very strange things, e.g. downloading one file forever, over and over again, using GBs of internet transfer; duplicating the backup and using up all the free disk space - Support has been unable to resolve the issues for almost two months and still can't provide me any solution - Special backups (like GDrive backup) take weeks to be completed - Complete user-side encryption requires a separate fee

get a drive in the cloud!

Pros:

What i love about pcloud is that you can add a drive to your computer make it really easy to use. Pcloud is that service you use everyday but you forget about it, because is so well done - Very well integrate (is like a hard drive) - Very fast - Very useful and handyl!! - Save alot of space, - Keep sync very well on the background - Permition: So you can give access to remote upload or access - Share online Amazing for work with teams and other people

Cons:

Overall is very good, not complain. For my miss 2 things: - an phone app (have 1 but is not so good integrate like the pc vertion) - a wordpress plugin for backup (the current plugin dont work) Also the web interface is fine, but is a really good product cold be way better!
