OneDrive
What Is OneDrive?
Microsoft OneDrive is a web-based digital asset management solution that allows businesses of all sizes to efficiently manage, collaborate, and share files. Administrators can set up a private or public site for authorized users, who can then create online folders to store their documents. Businesses can share sensitive data without revealing proprietary information by allowing only authorized people to access the folder. Users can also access and edit documents within the same collaborative environment to increase efficiency. The Microsoft 365 interactive scanning app lets users scan and convert paper to searchable PDFs directly from their device.

Reviews of OneDrive

Secured and Fast Cloud Storage Solution
Pros:
Onedrive is popular cloud storage service. User friendly interface, multiplatform support like android, iOS, windows and security of data have made it favourite to users. Well integrated with Microsoft 365 is another facility of Onedrive.
Cons:
Low free storage (5GB) service than other cloud service providers is I like least about Onedrive.
Alternatives Considered:
One Drive is my one drive for productivity
Comments: We have solved the issue of sharing large files without having to download them to a drive and then bring the drive to the person I wish to share the files with. OneDrive has made this quite easy and therefore saving me time.
Pros:
One of the most impactful features is being able to access all of my data on all of my devices from anywhere.
Cons:
The only issue I encounter often is when someone is trying to share a file with me. If I look at my computer files under OneDrive it doesn’t show up. I have to open OneDrive in Microsoft Edge first and then open it through there. Otherwise it doesn’t show up in my files.
Microsoft Loses Market Stature with OneDrive
Comments:
I stayed away from it for quite some time. Then I decided it must be worth the effort to make productive use of it. Added data storage and mobile (or global) access were attractive. I have never been a Microsoft basher as there has been much good put into the marketplace. But OneDrive has risen to the heights of ignorant system integration right along with:
- How many times did you re-use "Outlook" and how much confusion has that caused?
- Why do you keep changing the user interface for Windows with unfathomable benefit? e.g. Why did you change the alphabetical arrangement of the Control Panel by changing the names of things so that experienced users would be immediately inconvenienced?
Pros:
I like the promises and selling points a lot. Too bad they aren't met.
Cons:
The system integration of OneDrive is very poorly contrived. It leads to confusion, inefficiency and data loss. One has to be very careful with it to avoid its problems. Why Microsoft would do this is very hard to fathom.

A wonderful tool to achieve tasks
Comments: As translator and trainer my experience with One Drive be described as fruitful and effective experience in achieving tasks. By one Drive I can control who has access to file sent specifically in privacy and questions of payment in advance.
Pros:
The easiness of use One Drive is so simple, has a lot of facilities specifically in file sharing, backup recovery and accessibility.
Cons:
Direct downloading in mobile App because it needs many steps. Permission alert in storing data transferred by Microsoft Teams . Editing videos to be shared after editing on social media.

My One Drive review
Comments: Better value and excellent Windows integration. Additionally, Microsoft offers the office suite at no additional cost. Microsoft's mobile applications are excellent, and the online connectivity is faultless.
Pros:
The format of its files is identical to that of the Documents folders on our own computers. Hence, it is available and simple to comprehend. The desktop application is wonderful! You might mistake it for a regular computer folder since it is so beautiful. Lastly, the interface! A clear, basic, and stylish user interface is crucial to me as a user with a lot of files to manage. I can concentrate more on my job when my files are well organized, easily accessible, and well-sorted, as opposed to when I have to sort them periodically. Simply put, this program is unique to OneDrive. The three best qualities of OneDrive that make it stand out from other cloud storage services are these three aspects. The feature that allows you to define "shared by you" and "share with you" makes it safe to follow the files that are occasionally cast. Users can also keep track of the precise moment and action made by the file's modifier—a guest of the contributor.
Cons:
Large files can occasionally take a while to load on mobile devices. Some less tech-savvy coworkers find it a little confusing to see duplicate files listed—one set on OneDrive and another on the desktop. I try to explain to them that in case their computer goes lost, it is connected to an external box that is keeping the identical data.
