> **Pros**: Don't have to pay to use it. I hate big corps and OpenOffice sticks it to the microsoft man who seeks to profit from your every keystroke.

> **Cons**: Frequent CRASHES and LOST DATA\! I use OpenOffice Spreadsheet annually to calculate tax expenses, and have lost sooo much data today when it crashed twice. I had to re-renter 4 months of medical expenses and 3 months of farm sales.... and I haven't even started farm expenses. Free is NOT worth the current headache I'm dealing with after crash number 2. I will be doing Farm expenses by hand next....
