Pros:
The most interesting thing about sage 100 is the plethora of features it offers.Due to its versatile nature, one can perform numerous tasks with the software.
Cons:
I think I would recommend sage 100 to anyone, because I haven't experienced any downside of the software so far

Cons:
Sage 100 can be expensive for smaller teams. Also the lack of a free trial version limits users who would opt to test the product first before purchasing it.

Software is bad, service partner is worse.
Comments: outdated technology, lack of transparency, psuedo subscription without meaningful updates. Poor quality of the service partner network leaves much to be desired.
Pros:
the name of the software. But don't be fooled by that.
Cons:
On paper it has all the functionalities. In reality none of them works properly. You endup with countless customizations from a Sage partner and become very dependent on their partner. They are neither good nor cheap.

Sage 100 Accounting Software is Easy to Manage!
Comments: I have been supporting Sage 100 for years and able to maintain and patch on our schedule to accommodate us better.
Pros:
I like the interface and setup of Sage 100. It makes it helpful to control the maintenance and patching of the servers locally.
Cons:
There are times when we would like to have more support for local resources and have not been able to find it.

A Must for Any Accounting Department!
Comments: I use Sage 100 on a daily basis. When I got this job, it was my first time working in this program and I was a little intimidated, but once I sat down and started navigating through the different modules, I could see that it was not going to be a problem to use at all!
Pros:
It's very simple and straight forward and easy to use. It's not convoluted with a bunch of unnecessary features. It also has a lot of useful resources and help guides right there if you need them.
Cons:
I'm not sure of the ease of integration with other products. I think it was attempted but not followed through on.

good starting point
Comments: its easy enough to get through. a quick learn. it'll do the job day to day no problem.
Pros:
it is a very simple program to use. it really cant be dumbed downed enough. its a great starting point for a small business, as the company grows probably would want to upgrade
Cons:
certain options could just be better. Inventory look up, example looking up an item could be better, unless the description is spot on to find the part # the program wont broaden the search for you.

Sage Live Saver 1000
Comments: The customer support is exceptional, the webinars are always available and we don't need to run around if we need help, just an email or call away from assistance.
Pros:
It's comprehensive features, user-friendly interface and reliability,
Cons:
At the start of using it was a bit complicated, but once the training commenced, it went well, we expected it to be easy to understand from the start, but we managed.

Excellent software for a small to midsize company
Comments: The integration to pVault, a paperless document management platform used to approve or reject A/P invoices, worked well but there would be errors for large batches. It was hard to determine where the problem lied and which platform to blame. Overall, a small sized construction or manufacturing company projecting growth to midsize in a few years.
Pros:
The simplicity of it. It has the capacity to do everything needed in accounting and easy to learn. Good for a small to midsize company.
Cons:
I wish the report parameters had more options to view data. I wish there was an option to increase the system font size.

Perfect software for any business
Pros:
I think the thing I like most is that fact that everything pertaining to the specific job is kept all together and easily accessible.
Cons:
When using job cost, only one person can access at a time unless we purchase another license, but its not a huge deal.

Great Beginner Friendly Software
Comments: It worked well for a time, but ultimately didn’t work for our company

Perfect ERP Software for medium sized businesses
Comments: We have been with Sage for almost 7 years and it has saved us much time and money. Our old software was clunky and not customizable. We are able to now do multiple tasks at the same time, even within different companies.
Pros:
Ease of use, ease of customization. Excellent customer support, excellent value for the money. Great for organizations with multiple entities - ability to switch between companies/work in different companies at the same time.
Cons:
After a sales order is completed, you cannot "resurrect" it - you must generate a new number and "copy" the old sales order from history.
Alternatives Considered:
I use it daily... I couldnt be without it
Comments: I enjoy its capabilities.
Pros:
Being able to lock data in a time frame. And the bank reconciliation.
Cons:
A little more expensive compared to other products. But this is ok considering its features being specific to accounting profession.

Pay for everything
Pros:
Nothing - we used to but they they monetized everything
Cons:
Don’t buy unless you plan to have every area monetized. We bought the program years ago then they updated us without consent to subscription. Since then it’s every little thing costs.
Heck yeah sage!
Comments: It has been a great experience using sage 100.

Sage makes our accounting seamless.. our ability to export from servicetitan to sage to process our invoices makes our job incredibly easy

It can be very " archaic " at times, but hey if its not broken, why fix it?

Working from a distance with sage sometimes is very difficult especially when there is no internet connection

Comments: Very easy and straightforward wage system to view.

As a user sage is very straightforward to view wage slips, P60s etc. 1 and 2 clicks are right to where you need

I have not found any features so far through sage that I have been dissatisfied with and hopefully continues like that
Not a customer focused company
Comments: sales process we poor experience

The overall feature set was good and met expectations.

10+ Years of Sage in a mid-size manufacturing / distro environment
Comments: Sage has worked well for us for almost 10 years however as the company grows we find that we are "outgrowing" Sage and it can't keep up with our workload.
Pros:
Sage is old and the core functionality is solid. It "just works" for most smaller companies
Cons:
Sage really isn't intended for large / complicated environments. Once you've gone above 50 simultaneous users and add third party integrations for taxing, credit cards, warehouse management, etc... you'll notice lag in the system regardless of the hardware resources assigned to it.
SAGE 100 is a Winner
Comments: Overall, Sage has helped with running our business and keeping everything straight - I would say my (our) experience with Sage has been a positive one.
Pros:
It is a very robust package of modules - each module is for a specific task - general ledger, AP, AR, Inventory, etc. Once you have your company setup you assign your staff to be responsible for one of the modules and they become the expert in the module. All modules are integrated with the other modules so there is no need to upload and run sync programs - it is all done for you.
Cons:
Sometimes the modules are not as intuitive as other modules - I can only guess different software designers designed different modules and therefore the nuances of writing logical code differ from individual to individual. This makes more a bit of discontinuity across the modules. Somethings a module will crash due to some parameter not having a specific number or letter in the database (don't even know how that would happen!) and you cannot diagnose it yourself - you have to call customer service. It will cost you money if you don't have a CS plan and chew up at least an hour of your time. However, in fairness it does not happen too often.

New Sage 100cloud software is great
Comments: I've been working with Sage 100cloud for the past 6 months. With my busy schedule and the number of clients I'm servicing, I don't have the time to keep track of all my business finances. Sage 100cloud is the perfect solution for me. I can track my cash in and out, see where I'm at with my payables and receivables and create reports for my accountant. I also use the supply chain module to track my suppliers and create an automated purchase order system. Sage 100cloud is a great solution for businesses that don't have time to keep up with their finances.
Pros:
I was looking for a new cloud-based solution to manage my accounting and finances because my old program was not able to handle my business' complicated processes, and I found Sage 100cloud. This solution helps simplify your finances by providing a single source of data for items like cash management, financial procedures and supply chain management. You can manage your entire business from anywhere on any device, so I can check my finances from my phone or tablet.
Cons:
I haven't really had any issues with this product so far.
Sage - Tacking your Companies costs
Comments: Sage is easy to install and can be used for all types of industries from small to medium sized. Easy to train and configure to your companies needs. Highly recommend this product
Pros:
Sage is easy to setup. The ability to customize your invoices to include Logos and what is required to be shown on your invoices is essential. The ability to setup your fonts and how you want reports to print and look makes it very personable.
Cons:
I would like the ability to copy a Journal entry to reuse as opposed to saving as a stored entry. Coping entries on the fly is much faster. When a credit appears you cannot back out of this (no choice to exit) can make a mess of your gl
Great Product and would suggest to anyone

portability is great with Sage. I can be on vacation in the south and still access my files if needed.
Cons:

Sage 100 Cloud
Comments: Overall it's a solid product and works as it should. We are a small-medium business and came from MAS 90 to the Sage Cloud 100. Most users find it pretty easy to learn their day to day functions with very little training. Although its probably not the most popular ERP, but for most businesses you should see that it handles your accounting with ease
Pros:
The accounting functionality of the software is very user-friendly. The screens are modern and easy to read. We love the reporting side of the software as well. With employees working from home more now than ever before being on the cloud is huge.
Cons:
Wish it did more manufacturing types of transactions for work orders.

Good for small to medium business
Comments: It was a great overall experience and was simple enough for a smaller business to implement while still having the horsepower.
Pros:
Having worked with a few erps, this is one of the cleanest UIs and has been a great experience with getting data out of it. The datacubes on the backend have been really good as well. Order allocation is clean and simple and has warehousing plugins that work well too.
Cons:
I really wish that price breaks and price levels worked better. It was very difficult to get the accurate pricing inputted to the system.
Decent Accounting Software
Comments: I’ve been using this program for 7 years in my current position. I process driver payroll and billing in a trucking and warehousing company. We use it daily in my department. Everyone seems to like it okay.
Pros:
I like that you can save your favorites in one spot so you can easily get to the reports and functions you use frequently. Everything is straight forward so it’s fairly easy to train new people on this program.
Cons:
I’ve had a lot of issues with if someone else is using the same area/module as you it doesn’t warn you it just tries to do what you want and then just force closes yours and tells you after the fact. And then you’re like what the heck where was I at in the process? So beware of that. Also connecting printers to this has been a total PITA on more than numerous occasions.
