> **Pros**: After trying a number of other systems which felt like a real pain, I must say I can't find a system anywhere near as good for even double the price. There's a learning curve but it's really nothing like many others out there.&#10;&#10;TOP PROS:&#10;- Invoice for a period for all students in one hit and then email in one more. &#10;- Calendar view is powerful: attendance, great filtering by student/teacher/and many more&#10;- Setting up lessons is a breeze with conflicts detected automatically (although I wish it picked it up conflicts before pressing save, saving me a click-and-loading cycle)&#10;- Love the ability to clone days, run indefinite recurring group lessons with blocked out dates&#10;- Account management is brilliant too with a running list of billables and balance at any particular date&#10;- Sign up form is embeddable&#10;- SMS support mostly great&#10;- Notifiations to clients are great

> **Cons**: SMS INTEGRATION IS PATCHY &#10;- Fantastic for e.g. deleting a day. Except to send SMS messages needs to be activated in each profile manually which is slow - can't be turned on by default either&#10;- If the student doesn't have SMS turned on they don't get sent&#10;- Deleting lessons obscures the account: there is no longer record of that lesson even if it was previously included on an upfront invoice.&#10;- Marking a teacher absent is ideal EXCEPT there is no option to SMS all students without activating the feature in each individual profile first.&#10;&#10;NO SECOND FORM&#10;Other than the signup form - you need another service to handle this&#10;&#10;LEAD MANAGEMENT&#10;- No real (even simple) LMS, need another system. hello double handling data&#10;- Can classify as "lead" but then they can't book an open lesson. They need to be "Active" to do that, which is confusing because then they're "current students" which they aren't. It would be nice if leads could be added to lessons, then be automatically converted (semi-workaround via Student view sorting)&#10;&#10;INVOICES&#10;- need more templates \&amp; automation for outstanding, reminder before due, overdue, overdue 7/14 days&#10;- XERO integration please\!&#10;&#10;NO STOCK MANAGEMENT&#10;- No stocking books to smooth the process. To sell, a manual entry for every book sold is required. No prefill or stock&#10;- I've stopped selling books because of this&#10;&#10;ATTENDANCE&#10;- For group lessons needs optimising too many features has bloated the process \&amp; created too many loading panes

> **Pros**: The team is very responsive to customer inquiry, they continue to improve with more updates, the updates are relevant to teacher experience, the format is very user friendly and intuitive, the billing system is simple, and I love the website integration.

> **Cons**: I have 2 accounts and manually transfer calendar info. I convinced a studio I'm contracted with to use MMS as well. This caused 2 accounts with my MMS account. I log out/in depending on whether I use my personal studio or my contracted studio. This is a good integration, but I wish there was some way of better managing the 2 accounts for one user. I have to keep both calendars updated because one is synced to my phone and the other belongs to the studio. I'd rather just use one calendar for both, but that would impact the invoicing system as well as the student accounts.

> **Pros**: Has many good basic features that improve efficiency for invoicing, payroll, the registration widget is decent.  Overall, it was a good tool for a while.

> **Cons**: Beyond the bare bones, anything I try to achieve with MMS is not possible.  Want to integrate with other tools?  Can't do it... no open APIs and functions through Zapier are so limited.  Want to get data to help make informed decisions?  Can't do that either. The reports are so limited and require hours of work on spreadsheets using formulas and pivot tables in order to import into a better system.  This data is of course all static because you can't feed it properly to create dynamic data.  Want to allow customers to book their own lessons through your website?  The booking widget is so limited and can't be customized to meet your needs.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you want a software that you can scale and grow with.  Lately every function I try to achieve is not possible with MMS.  To say I'm frustrated and disappointed is an understatement.

> **Pros**: I've been using My Music Staff since 2018. The platform is incredibly user-friendly. Customer Service is EXCELLENT. They are always adding in new features and upgrading the system to better suit us as teachers.

> **Cons**: Sometimes I have issues with the Forms section. I've found some workarounds that get me to what I need.

> I recommend MMS to all of my music teacher friends. It's the best platform I've ever used. I tried some other platforms, just to see what was out there, but came back to MMS for the value, the ease, and the efficiency of use.
