Being a one stop shop for all your data. > > **Cons**: Could be slightly better from a customer perspective, having option to share data, dashboards etc with customers is great as a view option however being able to extract tables to excel from a view version would make it easier for customers as currently have to also set up emailed subscriptions for tables and data so feels like you are doing double work when it would be so easy to have an option for customers to extract to excel any of the tables created in view only. The drag and drop stuff for the dashboards actually didn't break when I used it which is a shocker. I really hate how hard doing translations for the dashboards are. > > We use Phocas because we needed to stick analytics into our own platform and I really didn't want to code a whole BI layer from scratch. The white-labeling is okay and clients can see their metrics. It saves us engineering time I suppose. Im just glad the natural language query thing actually functions because the non-technical users kept bothering me.
