> I have been teaching and consulting organizations in the Choosing By Advantages method for a number of years. I found the Paramount Decisions software to be very easy to use and it follows very closely with the tabular method of CBA.

 Using the software, I am able to quickly onboard clients to the CBA method in my consulting sessions. Because the software forces you to follow each step of the decision-making process in sequential order,  we generally end up with more structured and thoughtful decisions and insights. And once I finish teaching the client about CBA, I am more certain that they would be able to follow the process with the Paramount Decisions software.

My favorite feature is the ability to print out a report of the decision.  In the past, it would take me several hours to summarize the information from a CBA into a format that is easily digestible for the decision stakeholders. The fact that this software generates these printable reports so quickly and easily means that I save hours of tedious work.

My only suggestion for the Paramount Decisions company is to include more tutorials and reading materials about the CBA method in their reference library. There is a wealth of information from Jim Suhr's books on the history, rationale, and principles of making decisions based on their relative advantages. Currently this information is not displayed in the tutorial section of the software.

> I first heard about the Choosing By Advantages decision-making method about a year ago at a Lean Construction Institute event. I have been using the method to make decisions on my projects with limited success. The CBA method, in my opinion is difficult to implement due to the many steps involved and although people know that they should be using it, in a project setting it is hard to find the time and discipline to effectively apply the CBA method.

The Paramount Decisions software has really made using CBA much easier. The software guides you through the 11 steps of making a decision. At the end of the decision-making process, the software generates reports and A3s. Instead of taking hours to write a report myself, the software automatically creates them from the information that I have entered. 

Some of the other things that I really like about the software are the real-time collaboration and version control features. Real-time collaboration is really useful because it allows all the people working on the decisions to be able to contribute in real-time. The version control allows me to take snapshots of my work and reference them in the future. With version history, I don't have to worry about losing any information on my decisions.

Overall I am very satisfy with the software and would highly recommend others in the AEC industry to use it.
