Comments: I, personally think it’s great in my daily use of it but there are some frustrations with some of its functionality

Pros:

You can tell Paycor takes your business seriously and works very hard to give what you need toy get your job done efficiently

Cons:

The reporting platform is confusing and not easy to use at all. It’s disappointing. Also we have A LOT of issues with our employees using the app. They are constantly frustrated with it which makes our job so much harder.

Simplies the Time & Pay Management Process

Pros:

Paycor simplified our entire payroll process. It allows employees to have up to the minute information on their time, pay, etc. It's a very user friendly platform while still providing all the necessary pieces.

Cons:

The reporting tools could be upgraded a bit to be more intuitive but we are able to pull out all the info we need so that's not a big issue at all.

Obsolete product

Comments: It was an ok platform; the obsolete interface made it so difficult to us to use feature beyond the basics.

Pros:

The PTO calendar was very neat, and I never had issues with that part.

Cons:

The time clock rarely ever worked properly and reported incorrectly a lot of times.

Comments: I have liked every aspect of PayCor and it continues to provide more and more functionality like Employee Deve or improved services like Customer Support which has improved greatly.

Pros:

Easy to use and lots of functionality. I actually enjoy using it and it makes my job easier. Employees love the self-service and all of the many features.

Cons:

Customer Support takes time to respond sometimes but usually it is on point.

Paycor for Hourly Employees

Comments: Positive. Mobile and Desktop applications are not so different as to cause confusion. Day to day use is easy.

Pros:

The web app interface is easy to navigate for employees, management and HR. Permissions for certain aspects are managed by HR or an admin.

Cons:

Some of the interfaces making accessing what feels like related info hard to find under a different heading.

I find the website easy to use. The customer service is also good, always able to solve my problems quickly.

Cons:

I hate the new time card, and I believe some things were changed in training modules and I didn’t like that much either.

Paycor Time management

Comments: I use Paycor on a daily basis! We also use it for quarterly check ins, and it makes the process very smooth and saves time during our check in's. It is very easy to go in and correct a missed punch, check your schedule, request days off and check your vacation and sick day balances.

Pros:

I like the ease of obtaining information in regard to scheduling, PTO, sick days and tracking your time.

Cons:

I honestly do not have any complaints; it's very well laid out and user friendly.

Pros:

We were able to integrate more things into this one system. It’s easy to use and learn. The recruitment and onboarding work great.

Cons:

The benefits module is super hard to get set up, the process is using excel spreadsheets and so many opportunities for error. We are on our third attempt and it’s still painful.

Comments: Overall, it's a most positive experience. I think they need to develop their benefits implementation, open enrollment support and EDI feeds. I will say once everything is up and running the platform operations

Pros:

The payroll platform is so seamless and easy to use. This is the best function of the platform. I also like the ATS; it's also easy to post, review, store notes/scorecards, and schedule interviews. The hire to onboarding process is perfect.

Cons:

The customer service and benefits implimentation and enrollment is not the best or smoothest I've used. Once set up, it runs fine.

Comments: Mostly good with room for improvement: They clearly have been busy on building out new products and features which is great. The support could use work as could integrating these new products so they are more seamless with their base product.

Pros:

They are constantly coming up with new features. We came from a system that wasn't as powerful - payroll was clunkier, no performance management, etc. Paycor from the start had many more features and they continue to build more.

Cons:

These new features sometimes have huge bugs that haven't been worked out and when the function is implemented, there isn't always a lot of support during implementation. Some of the newer features aren't fully integrated so you have to manually adjust things like reporting lines. When you do reach out for support, it is very inconsistent in the answers you get and the knowledge of the product.

Comments: Exceptional. The staff I've worked with has all been so kind and supportive. The product is wonderful!

Pros:

Paycor is a great company that cares about its customers and their businesses. They support our company by buying our products for their events and their product works great to support our business needs

Cons:

Some aspects are DIY that would be nice to have a little more hands on help with - setting up new states, setting up a new employees taxes, etc.

Best so far

Pros:

Paycor has been wonderful since our implementation. The transition process from our previous provider was made super simple by their implementation team, who were able to screen share and walk us through pulling everything they needed in under an hour and a half (compared to a two WEEK process when we switched providers before that). They've remained in touch and been there anytime we had difficulties, which have been few. Their service after the sale has been phenomenal. I appreciate that they continue to offer support and reach out periodically to check in on us, and we have a dedicated customer success manager who we partner with occasionally to discuss our needs and new features.

Cons:

Their customer service hotline has been spotty recently (last few months) but overall is still helpful and reassuring.

One of the greatest yet easiest payroll software programs out

Comments: Its a great program and not real hard to navigate, I would recommend to any small business or any start up thats not familiar with payroll yet or time management calculations.

Pros:

Everything I mentioned above but most of all the direct deposit features as well as the time clock by web or mobile with geovalidation .

Cons:

The cost of the software is whaf I would say I liked the least ,it was sonewhat more than other software providers .I was worth it but thats about the only dislike I can think of .

Learning Curve

Comments: It is a love/hate relationship for us. We love some of the features but are disappointed in how we are not able to use all of the features. The customer service has been a disappointment as well. I am hopeful as we continue to learn more that we will have even more love than hate in the near future.

Pros:

The look and feel of Paycor is great. The onboarding is my favorite as it really saves me so much time. I also love the employee do-it-yourself features for tax forms and direct deposit. TIME SAVERS.

Cons:

The Time Off Manager system has given us a lot of problems. It is inflexible - so for employers who are striving to give their employees a flexible schedule and work-life balance it is not great. We have had to discontinue the use of the request time off feature because it was throwing our PTO balances off.

pretty good experience

Comments: overall the experience is ok. I wish we had dedicated support specialists. It feels as though if there is a problem and you need to contact support there is always someone new that we have to reach out to and explain the situation yet again.
I also understand from our payroll person that there seems to be quarterly tax issues and she tries numerous times to get it take care of. In this regard it is costing out company more money.

Pros:

A lot of the features make sense and I like that it is one central portal for our needs.

Cons:

Things will change without notice. Also, if we are having an issue with something we will hear it is a "known issue". I feel we, the customer, should know too.

Comments: This tool streamline workforce and talent acquisition. It has all the benefits over other related tools.

Pros:

Manual work is slowly vanishing with the increase in the need to save more time and resources. Paycor has fit in so well to save the day. No manual updates on most employees data. With Paycor, there is a fare ground for talent acquisition and management. This has eventually brought us a more reliable workforce giving us an advantage in the market always. Furthermore, Paycor has proven to be easy to use, easy to integrate and flexible to changes. Being easy to customize makes it possible to be applied on any industry.

Cons:

Paycor has no cons. It is committed to delivering the best and the features are awesome.

Paycor Recruiting - Not worth the money

Comments: Not great. We have reached out several times to set meetings to get this fixed and try to optimize the platform. We have had 0 response, automated responses that are not applicable, and even escalated the attempts to reach out multiple times. When they finally got back to us months later, they attempted to charge us a fee so they could fix what was all wrong with the platform. Then ghosted us again.

Pros:

Integrates with Paycor on the payroll and HR side.

Cons:

It is hard to navigate. Not user friendly. Low HM adoption rate. Lacking in so many areas. They should drop this product and work on better integrations with better known ATS like Greenhouse or Lever. I also just learned that Paycor is ending their integrations to these top ATS to potentially force people to using theirs or one of the ATS they acquired. This move has made us want to reconsider even using Paycor for payroll and HR.

A global performance managment tool for our remote workforce

Comments: We like having a full cycle performance managment system that allows us to add modules to build our various programs as we grow and expand. The next module we hope to include is the competancy module. We appreciate this type of flexibility in the Paycor platform.

Pros:

We currently use Paycor for their performance managment, feedback, recognition, objective setting and and career navigator tools. It has been a great resource for a full cycle performance managment system for our global, remote workforce.

Cons:

We have used Paycor for about 3 years and they have been easy to work with.
