There's an ATS which we haven't set up since we adopted the system a few years ago. > > **Cons**: We tried to adopt Paycom for our Australian operations but the app didn't work in that region and we encounter roadblocks (social security numbers don't exist in Australia but it was required for log in, payroll tax rates couldn't be adapted for this region). Ultimately, we could have tried to make it work but when we were looking into it, our management team decided to proceed with a local product. We were informed that the system would work in Australia but when it came to implementation it didn't - left a sour taste with the management team. User interface is also old-fashioned and looks clunky from the 90s. > > I use paycom to track our US team's learning, but there's no easy way to create a report just for that team so I have to resort to going into each user profile one by one to check if they have completed certain training. There have just been too many issues overall. We have too many fresh issues at the moment. > > **Cons**: Scheduling is not tied to the timecards correctly, which causes issues with having an attendance policy in place. The lack of ability to make adjustments to pay statements is also a problem; you can't update certain pay rates, which causes too many work-arounds. The ability to have different pay codes tax at different rates on the same pay statement. I feel this is a way to make more money by processing more checks. The lack of ability for the system to calculate historical adjustments and process retro pay accordingly. The cost has been much higher than anticipated as we have spent a lot of time going backwards and fixing things. The EDI files are not what we were told they would be. They are very manual on your end, which has caused issues with Benefits and 401(k). Do not like that changes are done to the system without client input. You should get with the end-user. I don't like that we have to pay for a test system. Also don't like that every little thing is an extra cost; benefit help for open enrollment, 401(k) file feeds (which we were told could be handled and couldn't). The timeclocks are not intuitive enough, which causes problems for hourly employees punching in and out. > > Not a good one. The implementation just goes too fast and things are missed. There was no check list of things to go over so we are a year and a half in and still finding out things we should have known from the beginning. There needs to be a checklist to go over with clients on every piece. Other companies have long implementations because they are more thorough. I also don't feel that this system is built for a manufacturing environment.
