Amazing Customer Service and Support Groups!

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: To be fair, the con I described only affects 1-2 people within our entire organization and shouldn't be counted as a true con as much as a pet peeve. All in all, PowerDMS is an amazing product. Our organization still hasn't used it to its fullest potential. Policy housing, Training, Archives, Public Facing Documents, etc... PowerDMS really can be used for multiple purposes!

Pros:

There are many things about PowerDMS that make it a great product. It's simple and easy to use for the end users. Administrators have more of a learning curve; however, the support groups and Customer Service are fast to respond and AMAZING! PowerDMS allows users to easily search policies both on a desktop and the mobile app. It also allows administrators to quickly locate version histories and add documents/audio/video as proofs for accreditation purposes. In addition, the Training module works great in these pandemic times to allow for remote training.

Cons:

Only one. The Session Timeout only allows for two options. 1) Timeout in twenty minutes of activity, or 2) Stay logged in if the window is open. There is no middle ground for PowerDMS Administrators. I can't tell you how many times my session wants to timeout as I am in the middle of loading a proof.

Comments: Positive. products are fairly user friendly and staff is willing to help and are knowledgeable

Pros:

The integration of the products makes. The helpfulness of staff during launching of new products.

Cons:

Roll out of new features seems slow at times. Last year we were promised of the single sign on and that still hasn't happened at our agency. I've asked several times and keep being told it's coming but it seems to be here and there was no follow up.

Most frustrating program I've ever used

2.0 10 months ago

Comments: I'm glad I'm already bald, or I would have pulled my hair out by now because of this mess.

Pros:

It does manage to track documents and allows you to force a signature to show people saw them. It accomplishes this is a vastly over complicated style that is unnecessarily complicated and labor intensive, but it does accomplish it.

Cons:

Extremely difficult to use, especially the classroom portion, if you have the unfortunate task of trying to design classes in it. Plan on more time trying to put your class material in PowerDMS than it takes to design them in your original powerpoint or other programs.

Comments: 3 years as a master admin for a state law enforcement agency. It’s a very engaging and transparent product.

Pros:

It’s an incredibly intuitive and user friendly platform with a fantastic support service.

Cons:

No major cons. Our issues is I wish we could integrate the movement of individuals through PowerDMS groups with our current HR software. But not a con of PowerDMs.

Power DMS platform

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: We have been using PowerDMS for approximately 4 or so years. It has helped us keep staff informed. Still doesn’t make people do their step without humans holding them accountable.

Pros:

Helps us tremendously with the amount of users and policies we have. Also started using it for accreditation and it has made the whole process smoother.

Cons:

There have been a couple of bugs that have popped up. Support has been helpful but it did cause some extra user support needs.

City of Pflugerville

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: It’s relatively positive, only gripe is from above

Pros:

It’s easy to send over documents and policies in mass to employees

Cons:

I wish it was easier to notify people or managers about policies they need to complete. We just completed a handbook revision and it was hard tracking down people to acknowledge the changes

PowerDMS: Is It Really Powerful or It Is Just Useless

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Upon using the PowerDMS I arrived at a conclusion that the PowerDMS is really powerful because it helps me a lot especially for my studies and based on my experience this website has it all and I will really recommend this especially to those lawyers out there.

Pros:

PowerDMS is easy to use, especially for end-users. The platform really tracks employee signatures, ensuring that necessary documents, and etc. What I really like about PowerDMS is their customer service because their customer service is very fast and that is good because of the customer service is a must when it comes to this kind of websites.

Cons:

There is just one problem I don't know if the problem is the website itself or my internet connectikn it is because sometimes the content I was viewing cannot load properly and I was frustrated about it but as the time goes by I get used to it all I need to do is to refresh the browser and it is all back to normal again.
