Eventbrite, best public event platform around.

4.0 4 months ago

Comments: In general I feel it is a great platform and I like getting my event information through it.

Pros:

Great way to learn about in person and online events of interest to me in my area and to get tickets.

Cons:

While browsing events and getting tickets is mostly free other than the cost of the tickets, and creating small events (25 tickets or less) is pretty straight forward. in order to do larger events I have to pay for a subscription.

Eventbrite - organized. detailed. endless.

3.0 last month New

Comments: I've used eventbrite for both personal and business purposes. I really enjoy surfind through Eventbrite on the weekends to find the right activity for me. Eventbrite features activities in my local area as well as events going on within my work space. The filter features allow me to sort through my availability from date and time to locations. I'm able to easily register and recall details through the post or through the confirmation email.

Pros:

Plenty of details. Categorized and well organized

Cons:

Many of the categories are open ended, allowing for duplicate information to be shared. Causing posts to be unnecessarily long.

Eventbrite has strong features but is still lacking in some ways

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: Eventbrite is a solid solution for activities, event management and tickets, for events of all sizes and community gatherings. It’s accessible, easy to use, and provides a detailed but not exhausative set of tools for both organizers and attendees. Eventbrite does have some limitations in terms of customization, advanced features for larger events, and its costs.

Pros:

It is easy to schedule and manage events. It has an easy to use interface, but also the features that I need. The built-in marketing and publicity tools are helpful.

Cons:

Eventbrite has limited customization options. It does not have the build in mass reach that happens with the larger existing social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram. Fees can be high.

Its user-friendly interface, event promotion tools, event management capabilities, and excellent customer support make it my go-to platform for all my event planning needs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to host successful events with ease.

Comments: I have used this to both host and attend events. For the most part the online application is easy to use, easy to post events and easy to track attendance. However the interface with Google calendar is very glitchy.

Pros:

Timely recommendations for upcoming events based upon selected criteria.

Cons:

Inability to seamlessly transport event data into google calendar

Still the Top Choices for Small and Large Events

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Eventbrite is highly flexible and works well for our smaller or free events. On the other hand, Cvent is our go-to for larger events that need custom apps, onsite badge printing, and various conference-specific features. The price Cvent charges is worth the value it delivers for these occasions. For low-cost or free events, Eventbrite is still the preferred option.

Pros:

I found it incredibly easy to use, making it simple for both small and large businesses to create professional events.

Cons:

A downside is the steep fees, particularly for high-ticket events.

Easy to Use, Always Spot On With Fun Events

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: I’ve utilized eventbrite for a few years now. It makes finding local events that interest me very easy. Whenever I need something to do on the weekend with family or friends, I know I can rely on eventbrite to provide me with good suggestions. It’s easy to navigate, filter, and share event information.

Pros:

I appreciate the ease of use within the app. I can very quickly find local events that spark my interest and next steps for reserving my spot. The filtering capabilities are very useful to narrow down the best, most relevant results to me.

Cons:

I can’t say that there’s anything I don’t like about the app. I’ve been using it for years and am able to quickly find what I’m looking for.

Plan outings on fingertips.

3.0 9 months ago

Comments: Eventbrite is flexible, secure and accessible. It provides a lot of categories to choose from. The exhaustive model is truly one of a kind!

Pros:

The most liked feature of Eventbrite has to be how user-friendly the interface is. It serves as an exceptional marketing tool to promote events. The page management provides all the information in a comprehensive manner. The analytical report provides an excellent overview of traffic, attendee movements and other insights that allows to take informed decisions in the future. It allows the host to update FAQs and also interact with the attendees making it truly exhaustive. The mobile accessibility for both the host and the attendee really allows to handle things on fingertips.

Cons:

What i don't like is that it doesn't allow to put the original website page on the dashboard. Sometimes certain categories of events are empty. I've had problems to increase the reach of the event as well. Providing guidelines for the same would be absolutely helpful.

Eventbrite completely provided a ticket sales solution for our youth conference

4.0 4 months ago

Comments: Overall Eventbrite made ticket sales for our conference a breeze. The site is pretty intuitive and, as I mentioned, the payouts are super prompt and detailed.

Pros:

Eventbrite is easy to set up for an event. We set up a conference with over 300 attendees with multiple discount codes. Payments are super easy and paid out quickly. The analytics are really helpful. We also used Eventbrite for our 50 volunteer positions. Since it was for volunteers we were able to use the Eventbrite app free of charge and easily set up extra options such as shirt sizes and preference of days/areas to serve.

Cons:

Our greatest issue with our volunteer sign up is that it constantly got "sold out" with applications from India and Africa asking for letters of invitation to Canada for our event. I asked Eventbrite if I could limit the volunteer sign-up to our province, or even only Canada, but they have no way to do that. As such, I had to go into the app daily to delete ineligible volunteers.

A very intuitive, easy-to-use event platform

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall, Eventbrite is a powerful and user-friendly platform, ideal for managing both small and large-scale events with ease.

Pros:

Eventbrite is a very intuitive, easy-to-use event platform. It has all the tools one might need to publish and advertise events. What I liked most about the platform is its intuitive interface—setting up events, managing tickets and tracking analytics is simple and efficient. The seamless integration with social media and email marketing also made it easy to promote events and reach a wider audience.

Cons:

Eventbrite's reporting features could be more customisable, and occasionally, the customer support response time feels slow, especially during peak times.

Makes Planning/Managing Events a Breeze

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Great experience using Eventbrite. The fundraise we hosted was a HUGE success thanks to it's user-friendly and easy to navigate interface. Planning and managing events has never been easier for us since using this software. If you choose this, you will not be disappointed.

Pros:

The event management is unparalleled. Everything is so simple and easy to use. The interface is great, it is easy to share your events, and the platform intelligence is excellent for marking marketing decisions. It also has a very streamlined workflow which I enjoy.

Cons:

It has some limitations especially the less you pay. Some third party integrations can behave difficultly sometimes, but nothing that would turn someone off to using the software.

Mastering Events

5.0 12 months ago

Comments: I find Eventbrite to be a reliable platform for event planning. Its user-friendly interface and comprehensive tools simplify organizing and promoting events efficiently.

Pros:

I like Eventbrite's user-friendly interface and comprehensive tools that simplify event planning, promotion, and management. It offers efficient solutions for organizers and attendees, contributing to successful and enjoyable events.

Cons:

While Eventbrite is generally effective, I would say that the fees associated with ticket sales can be a drawback for some organizers. It's important for users to weigh the costs against the benefits of using the platform.

Eventbrite Review

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been cool! It has its ups and downs. You really have to do your research when it comes to the people hosting the events you want to attend.

Pros:

What I like most about Eventbrite is that you can find events in your neighborhood or surrounding areas to attend—whether you're looking to have a good time, network, or promote your own events.

Cons:

Anyone can post an event on Eventbrite, and some may overhype their event, making it seem bigger than it is. People might overcharge, especially for vendor opportunities, and if no one shows up, it could end up being a waste of time and money.

Eventbrite Keeps Me Busy!

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Very positive! I use Eventbrite often as a way to make plans and see what is going on in my community.

Pros:

I love being able to see what events are happening in my area in one consolidated place. Eventbrite also has all of the information I need to know about the event, and makes buying tickets easy. Accessing tickets is also easy.

Cons:

I wish I could get a monthly newsletter about events happening near me, or an algorithm that knows what types of events I like. For example, I attend a lot of outdoor yoga events through Eventbrite, and would like to be notified about more.

A great platform and easy to navigate

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: In conclusion, Eventbrite has quickly become my favorite ticketing site due to its ease of use and impressive event discovery features. Despite the design limitations, the platform's functionality and ability to connect users with a diverse range of music events have solidified its position as my go-to choice for ticket purchases. I look forward to continuing to explore the exciting events that Eventbrite has to offer in the future.

Pros:

One of the aspects I liked most about Eventbrite is its user-friendly interface. Navigating the platform is straightforward, making it incredibly easy to find music events that match my interests. Additionally, the search functionality is efficient and reliable, ensuring that I never miss out on exciting events in my area

Cons:

On the flip side, an area that could be improved within Eventbrite is its design. While the platform is functional, the visual aesthetics feel somewhat limited and could benefit from a more modern and visually appealing layout. Enhancing the design elements could elevate the overall user experience and make the platform even more engaging

Comments: I've used this for large events in college, small events with family, and special events in my office.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to schedule and monitor RSVPs for events of all sizes (and all ages of those invited which is key!!!)
