Comments: I have used Dayforce for over five years and participated in many intensive integration projects. I learned from each project, and I find Dayforce HCM easy to navigate.

Pros:

Dayforce HCM has all HR, benefits, WFM, report, and payroll in one place and is easy to navigate once you understand the system. The Dayforce support team is excellent, and they are always ready to assist you whenever you need help.

Cons:

The Dayforce HCM has greatly improved its Reports and Analytics functions, but I would appreciate having more report specialists to support the reports.

Dayforce Review - Small Company

3.0 4 weeks ago New

Pros:

Very customizable to each Company's needs

Cons:

Because it's so customizable, it can be very difficult to learn the technical "behind the scenes" setup functions

Dayforce - a very intuitive sytem.

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Transitioning from an in-house system to Dayforce is the best decision we ever made. Although implementation during covid was rough, and going live, we still have many policies not correctly configured. But after 3 years of using dayforce, I was able to modify some entitlement policies, pay policies that were not working properly. I do not have a computer programming background but the dayforce is so intuitive that I was able to do so.

Pros:

The dayforce system is very intuitive. The continues calculation is a hot seller for me.

Cons:

Initially reporting is the feature I liked least but once I'm getting the hang of it, it's not too bad.

Easiest platform to use to manage employment documentation

5.0 last month New

Comments: It has been great so far for part time jobs to manage schedules and payment information. The days of having paper documentation and clock in/out are gone.

Pros:

Seamless platform to manage employment information. Easy to access and update schedule, tax forms and payment information. Shifts management in part time jobs is also a plus as you can easily switch with colleagues.

Cons:

Clock in and out option should be more easy to access as it is actually hidden inside the settings and not as a quick access button.

Great HR solution for time, vacation monitoring and payroll

5.0 2 months ago New

Pros:

Ease of use, everything is neatly labeled, and tailored for the customer. In Poland we have many rules where it comes to vacation, sick leaves and overtime pay etc etc. Clocking in and out is fast and reliable so there is no stress when you enter your work - as it should be. Dayforce also offers nice PoE Android tablets for clock in and clock out with physical RFID tag, very neat solution with simple WebGUI for users and HR

Cons:

I've been using it daily for almost 3 years now, and haven't had any major issues :)

Dayforce - A workplace must

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: It has been a positive user experience and easy to use. I have also enjoyed the app’s layout and variety. Due to this I prefer it to its competitors

Pros:

I use Dayforce for work and is my new favourite amongst the rostering platforms. Training tasks can be completed from Dayforce and it allows for details about training and upcoming shift information. The homepage layout provides a suitable amount of personalised content regarding upcoming work preventing endless searching. The platform is also easily accessible from the web and the app.

My thoughts about Dayforce being an employee and a customer

5.0 last year

Comments: Dayforce is a company that has very high standards for themselves, they keep continuously innovating themselves and are uphold the ideals of a company that stands by "Makes work life better"

Pros:

Workforce Management is a very advanced module that has plenty of pay policy rules and qualifiers to ensure automated set up of CBA rules

Cons:

Small things like having the ability to filter on pay codes in the set up screen can make a lot of difference to power users like me, but this is not a deal breaker by any means. Improvisations can be done but critical functionalities are already well established

Why choose Dayforce?

5.0 last year

Comments: Overall, Dayforce has been able to meet our needs and our support team is always available when questions come up. Our TAM has made the transition to Dayforce as well as our day to day issues n opportunity to learn and resolve instead of pain points that frustrate us.

Pros:

Dayforce is as close to one stop shopping as we could find and still be able to meet our needs. Having so much data in one spot allows for powerful reporting.

Cons:

If Dayforce had an internal ability to electronically sign documents it would be so much easier to set up and maintain onboarding documents.

Good product with a promising future.

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Overall positive experience with Dayforce. The platform allows us to configure changes as needed without the ability to rely on Dayforce support. Dayforce Tax could use some improvement.

Pros:

The ability to configure changes within the application for our organization.

Cons:

Dayforce Tax Services does a poor job of partnering with clients. The system does not naturally respect tax jurisdiction reciprocity rules.

Dayforce Review

4.0 8 months ago

Pros:

The full integration. It is amazing to have all components in a single system. The customization opportunities are a blessing and a curse. It is amazing to truly take the system and make it what you need it to be, but on the flip side, it can be cumbersome to have unlimited options.

Cons:

Dayforce isn't for everyone. It is a complex system that requires a sys admin that is well versed to manage the day to day operation. If you do not have this and rely on Dayforce for assistance, you will be waiting for a while.

Empowering System

5.0 5 months ago

Comments: Overall, I believe Dayforce works well for our business. It has been key in propelling us forward and empowering our managers to have accountability and oversight of key information.

Pros:

The self service and ease of use. That integration with other platforms is possible, however a lot of HRIS needs as catered to through Dayforce itself.

Cons:

There are a lot of nuances to each individual business and sometimes this cant be catered to. If it is possible, then it usually comes with additional cost to the business.

Pros:

The ease of use and constant updating to make the system better. they have a great conference with great sessions that help you level up your Dayforce knowledge and skills

Cons:

Frustration & Disappointment

1.0 last year

Pros:

I cannot think of a single thing that I like about Dayforce.

Cons:

Throughout our implementation process, persistent issues plagued our experience with Dayforce. Right from the start, we faced issues with faulty system configuration, including confidential data being accessible to lower level employees. We have been told by support personnel at Dayforce that our system is improperly configured. Our implementation manager failed to address concerns adequately and failed to conclude the professional relationship officially. Instead, we were left with a slew of unresolved issues and unanswered inquiries. Despite scheduled follow-up meetings, these sessions were repeatedly abandoned by the manager. Frustratingly, after weeks of unanswered emails and our futile attempts at problem-solving, we were told from our implementation manager that she had to get permission to charge more billable hours to us, and that was why she hadn't communicated with us in several weeks. Seven months post-implementation, our file feeds for benefits remain incomplete. Despite our immediate request following implementation, this crucial aspect of our system has yet to be fully operational. The persistent issues we face significantly hamper our productivity, particularly concerning our convoluted payroll setup. The payroll segment of Dayforce has demonstrated a lack of accountability, particularly evident in their response to our 401(k) compliance challenges, where they offered no satisfactory solutions and essentially shrugged off their responsibilities. We have given Dayforce several opportunities to rectify their errors, despite our profoundly disappointing experience. Even external stakeholders collaborating with us have expressed sheer astonishment at the abysmal quality of the system, citing unprecedented dissatisfaction in their professional interactions with other clients. Dayforce's performance has been deeply unsatisfactory, characterized by consistent lapses in competence and professionalism, leaving our organization in a state of perpetual frustration and disappointment as we face unresolved issues that directly impact our functionality and productivity.

Dayforce enhances the ability to improve customer projects

5.0 last year

Comments: We needed a performance management tool to manage compensation, human resources, time and attendance, and this year we will begin using Dayforce for these purposes. Because the company has many locations and a diverse range of user skills, Dayforce is simple for employees to use and understand. HR and payroll administrators are comfortable using it for their daily tasks. Dayforce aims to improve the quality of its system for users and the experience they have. Updates are constantly being made to incorporate new features and enhancements, as well as troubleshooting. The operational Dayforce tasks that you have the ability to perform normally are those that you choose to launch; if they are not beneficial to the tasks you have, you may want to leave most of the tasks turned off.

Pros:

The moment I have a complication, my support point deals with it correctly and with great accuracy. Dayforce offers a lot of training by video or under the guidance of a professional. These are very helpful to go back over or in case I want to run a new feature. Features are constantly being updated and enhancements added to features; some of which are user suggestions. We do not turn to IT services for assistance with Dayforce; any complications are handled by myself, the HRIS administrator, and assistance with Dayforce as needed.

Cons:

There are some complications with custom reporting; in general, if they require a modification, such as adding a field, there is likely to be a fee to do so.

INSIGHTS2023 Review of importance of HCM

4.0 last year

Comments: I realized the new enrollment for web and mobile is what I have been looking for. Open enrollment doesn't have to be boring and with the new platform it captures employees eyes and keeps them engaged.

Pros:

The 1 on 1 meetings with the Dayforce reps onsight allowed me to quickly find a resolution to my OE 2024. I felt like a big weight was lifted when [sensitive content hidden] assisted me with my issues.

Cons:

I would like to see a way to copy an enrollment in the test environment to production once it has been tested.

Pros: Features and Functionality Cons: Support

4.0 last year

Comments: We are reasonably happy. When we don't need to engage Ceridian's support team, we would likely describe our experience as very positive. It's unfortunate that the support organization and their customer experience is not stronger.

Pros:

Integrated modules across the HR suite, consistent logic and functionality for people managers and staff

Cons:

Support has been inconsistent at best and frequently frustrating to the point its impacted HR team credibility.
