### "Reliable Subscription Billing Platform That Scales with Our Business" — 5.0/5

> **Mark** | *17 July 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: 1. You can swiftly establish customizable subscription plans of any kind: flat-rate, tiered, or usage-based billing.
2. Automating upgrades and downgrades, as well as prorated billing, produces manual labour savings for our team.
3. Payment orchestration enhances transaction success rates by intelligently routing payments among providers.
4. The independent payment vault allows switching processors easier without affecting customers.
5. Real-time analysis and churn monitoring provide useful insights to develop customer retention strategies.
6. Our developers had a smooth integration, thanks to the clean API documentation and responsive support.
7. We confidently handle your payment data with our strong security features and PCI compliance.
>
> **Cons**: \* Implementing the solution is rather technical (particularly regarding the advanced billing workflows).
\* Reporting is very useful but we’d like to see a more customizable dashboard and export option.
\* Some premium features may be more than small businesses need.
\* More native integrations with marketing and CRM tools would be a beneficial upgrade.
>
> As the Brand \& Strategy Director for a marketing and advertising agency, I needed a billing platform to automate the process of charging our expanding range of subscriptions. PaymentKit automated our invoices, subscription changes and payment processing, significantly reducing our team’s manual work.
The improved payment rates have been attributed to an enhanced visibility of customer activity due to the analytics feature. The API was thoroughly documented and made a straightforward installation. There was just a little learning curve. To sum up, the PaymentKit solution has proven very reliable and scalable for our billing in a much easier way.
I would love to recommend it to subscription-based businesses.

### "Stopped chasing retainer payments and started focusing on creative work" — 5.0/5

> **Sarit** | *13 August 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Managing retainers with different billing cycles, milestone based payments for campaigns, and ad spend pass through was chaotic with our old setup. PaymentKit consolidated everything into one workflow, and automated dunning recovers failed payments without us touching it, which means fewer awkward conversations with clients about expired cards and more time running their campaigns.
>
> **Cons**: Reporting dashboard doesn't let us tag revenue by campaign type or client vertical natively, so we still pull raw data into Excel when we need to show profitability breakdowns by service line.
>
> Value is undeniable when you factor in time saved on collections and reconciliation. Account managers used to spend hours each week sorting out billing discrepancies, and now it takes minutes. Learning curve was reasonable. After a few weeks, even non financial team members could navigate it comfortably. What really sold us is the flexibility to route high ticket campaign payments through processors with better fraud detection while pushing smaller recurring retainers through lower cost options, all without manual intervention. It runs in the background, and that is exactly what we needed.

### "A solid recovery tool that saved us hours of manual chasing" — 5.0/5

> **Richard** | *12 July 2026* | Marketing & Advertising | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The use of automated dunning and collections workflows is a huge help in managing retainer billing. Prior to implementing this, our account managers and finance team wasted an excessive amount of time manually checking gateways, hunting for expired cards, and awkwardly reminding clients to pay their invoices. Now the system will do the retries and emailing sequences automatically in the background. It works smoothly with our stripe and a clear, unified view of subscription life-cycles has reduced our monthly reconciliation time on our dashboard.
>
> **Cons**: When you want to slice and dice data according to specific clients and custom dimensions, the reporting dimensions and other custom filters feel somewhat limited. We sometimes export into spreadsheets to get the exact view we need for leadership meeting purposes. In addition, the on-boarding and data mapping processes took a bit longer than anticipated. And if there is anything non-urgent you would like us to look into, response on that usually takes a few days.
>
> PaymentKit is streamlining our payment recovery process. We will never need to chase the teams anymore. Moreover, it helps us avoid the loss of a large portion of revenues due to failed renewals. Our operations team can track unpaid accounts before they are formally cancelled and placed in the cancellation process.
We were looking at a small constant customer loss due to silent payment failure that was beyond our scope of checking.

### "Stopped losing revenue to failed patient payments and insurance headaches" — 5.0/5

> **Brandon** | *24 August 2026* | Medical Practice | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Patient balances, copay collections, and payment plans for procedures all ran through different systems, making reconciliation a weekly frustration. PaymentKit consolidated every payment type into one place, and automated dunning recovers failed patient payments without staff chasing people down, which means fewer uncomfortable phone calls about overdue balances and more time for actual patient care.
>
> **Cons**: Dashboard lacks native tagging by insurance provider or procedure type, so our billing coordinator still exports data to Excel when analyzing payment trends across different carriers and service categories.
>
> Monthly cost is less than our previous gateway alone, and hours saved weekly are substantial. Front desk staff no longer spend hours reconciling payments. Implementation was smooth, and owning our token vault gives flexibility for future processor switches.

### "Billing finally keeps up with our equipment sales and service contracts" — 5.0/5

> **Wendy** | *13 August 2026* | Machinery | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Handling mixed billing models was a headache before—monthly equipment leases, quarterly maintenance contracts, and one-off parts orders all needed different treatment. PaymentKit handles them all in one place without custom coding, and the automatic payment routing has been a lifesaver when our primary processor has issues during end-of-month batch runs when we're billing hundreds of customers simultaneously.
>
> **Cons**: Dashboard filtering could be more flexible. When trying to pull reports by equipment type or service region, we have to export and manipulate data externally rather than slicing it directly within the platform.
>
> Cost is reasonable considering we eliminated two separate billing systems and reduced manual invoice reconciliation from three hours to about twenty minutes per week. The interface is straightforward enough that our service coordinators handle customer billing questions directly without escalating to accounting, which has freed up our finance team for more strategic work. What started as a payment tool has quietly become our single source of truth for customer billing across every piece of equipment we sell and service.
