> **Pros**: When you are first learning how to create 3D images for a website, Spline is easy to use and understand, and its free option is perfect for use in light projects

> **Cons**: The rendering could have some gaps, but for the most part, because I am new to using it, I don't have many cons

- their software is difficult to use (compared to other 3d tools)
- their AI is just a cashgrab and not useful at all (probably running a really early version of chatGPT or similar with barely any configurations - you can probably get better results from actually going to literally any LLM and asking directly in chat)
- they practice dark patterns (unethical design strategies used in user interfaces to trick or manipulate users into unintended actions - in my case they said I cancelled the wrong thing...)
- they stopped responding to me as soon as money was brought up

> Extremely frustrating. Their software isn't user friendly, their AI is a blatant cash grab, their customer service is non-responsive, their settings have a bunch of dark patterns... I would never recommend Spline to anyone.
