### "CPACharge makes requesting payments and getting paid easy" — 5.0/5

> **Pros**: I really like how easy it is to send a quick invoice and request payment with a link in an email to be paid on an encrypted portal either with an echeck or a credit card.  I like how I can look up payment received by month or by client.  Payments are deposited quickly with the fees charged separately so it is so easy to keep track of.  When I had a credit card machine, clients had to call me to enter the payment on the machine and the payments were all mixed up with so many fees all being charged on various dates. I also like that a payment in person can be entered from the portal if they client is here. I can also order a credit card machine but I chose not to. Their reports were not by client but lumped together depending on the credit card they used.

> **Cons**: I wish they would all a separate line item to add a credit card fee to the payment if a client chooses to pay with a credit card instead of an echeck. I finally had to let the client know to add an extra fee to the payment if they plan to pay with a credit card and I would pay the lesser fees if they paid with an echeck.

> So far I can enjoying using CPACharge to to make sure I get paid and having a way to send a link to my clients to pay me quickly using an encrypted portal.  My clients also are enjoying this way to pay me rather than having to play telephone tag to pay me over the phone if they are not here in person.

> **Pros**: I really appreciate that 8am CPACharge does not net down deposits for fees. It makes it so much easier to reconcile deposits when they actually match the invoice amounts. Automatic deposit into my bank means I don't have to deal with requesting transfers. And I love the integration with TaxDome, although I hear that is going away later this year. If there is any way to get them to keep the integration, PLEASE do\!\! I DO NOT want to have to start reconciling my deposits with fees netted out, like I'll have to do with other payment processing services.

> **Cons**: I do deal with some failed transactions, which can be a real headache in the middle of busy season when I don't have a lot of spare time to chase down clients AGAIN for payment. Fortunately it doesn't happen a lot, but it would be nice if it didn't happen at all.

> Overall, my experience with 8am CPACharge has been wonderful. The service has been thoughtfully designed with accountants in mind, which I really appreciate.

> **Pros**: CPA Charge keeps me paid\!  They help keep things in order, take good care of us if we need to call in for support and they are super easy to use.  Money is available very quickly and I don't have to think about it.

> **Cons**: If a payment fails in my software it still shows paid, this isn't CPA Charge necessarily, but it doesn't connect back if there is a problem with the payment.
> 
> Worth it\!  I hope to be able to stay with them.  Unfortunately my program is no longer partnering with them so I am unsure how this will look going foward.  I hope they stay.

> **Pros**: CPACharge is very easy to use and makes client payment processing seamless. We mainly use it for Visa card transactions and ACH process automation for our recurring monthly accounting clients, and it’s been a reliable and efficient solution.

> **Cons**: It doesn't accept ATM debit cards. Some seniors don't have VISA-enabled cards or credit cards in general. They only have a debit card on which they receive their Social Security deposits, and it's the only one they use to pay.
> 
> Our overall experience with CPACharge has been excellent. The platform is user-friendly, secure, and reliable, making payment collection simple and efficient for our accounting clients each month.
