If ever there is a problem with creating an herbal order, \[sensitive content hidden\] is punctual in his replies to make sure your order is correctly placed. I also enjoy the convenience of ordering herbal prescriptions for my patients from a dispensary that is highly used by many of my colleagues. This provides me with reassurance that the herbal products sold are high quality and nothing is sitting on the shelf long enough to expired; which is the can for many smaller or personal dispensaries. > > **Cons**: I do my charting in JaneApp and when documenting herbal prescriptions/orders I have to type out each herb used (Latin binomial and name in pinyin), the amount of each herb ordered, the total prescription weight, the dosage of the product, and when the product was order. Making charting herbal prescriptions very timely. I would like to see the two systems integrated so that this portion of the the charting is linked when the order is placed to save time. > > Extremely happy. I found the features rich and the enhancements useful. Even though I'm a solo practitioner, my custom formulas look very professional and I am able to manage a pharmacy on my own without spending more time keeping inventory than focusing on how to write the best formulas for my patients.The customer service is also outstanding because \[sensitive content hidden\] personally answers the emails and makes sure that issues are resolved.It also scaled down/up without breaking a sweat. I initially had a partner who shared the pharmacy with me and when she moved on, I was able to use the software by myself and rebuild the inventory without too much hassle. I also like knowing that Dispensary Tree will grow with me if I decide to add another practitioner in the future. > > **Cons**: When I set up the software, there was definitely a bit of a learning curve before I figured out my process and how to set up the system in order to best support my herbal practice. The training was rudimentary at the time and totally went over our heads until I started using the software more regularly. I used to work in IT too so I figured out a lot of it by trial and error, but a better onboarding program would probably have made the setup smoother.In some ways, it is overengineered for someone like myself since there's only me and my little pharmacy but the software can be used by schools and large clinics.
