### "The tool that has changed my way of designing and simulating systems." — 5.0/5

> **Elijah** | *16 May 2023* | Financial Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: As an automation engineer, I have been using Simulink for the past two years and I can confidently say that it has been a transformative tool in my work. Simulink is modeling and simulation software that allows you to design and simulate dynamic systems intuitively and efficiently. Simulink's interface is very easy to use and allows you to design dynamic system models visually and quickly. Simulink is integrated with MATLAB, allowing you to use MATLAB numerical analysis tools and functions in Simulink models.
>
> **Cons**: Despite being an intuitive tool, Simulink has a learning curve, especially for users new to the software. Furthermore, Simulink requires powerful hardware to simulate complex systems in real time.
>
> Simulink has been a transformative tool in my work as an automation engineer. Its intuitive interface, library of predefined blocks, and integration with MATLAB make it a very useful tool for the design and simulation of dynamic systems. Despite having a learning curve and requiring powerful hardware for real-time simulation, Simulink's benefits in terms of time savings, system validation, and system analysis make it worth using.

### "amazing tool for Engineers" — 5.0/5

> **Panagiotis** | *9 December 2022* | Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: i am electrical and electronic engineer so simulink is the software i use constantly and i can say that is the best software for modeling, simulating and analyzing mathematical models.I really liked that you can use simulink in the online matlab
>
> **Cons**: in simulink you can do many things. For that in the start i find it chaotic and need time to learn how to use it.and i feel the online simulink a little buggy and slow
>
> amazing software really helpful

### "Simulink contributes to the efficiency of my designs." — 4.0/5

> **Leigh Martin** | *31 January 2023* | Civil Engineering | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Simulink offers a large collection of pre-built and customizable blocks. I find them useful as they reduce the time and effort required for me to develope specific design models . Thus simplifying the design process for me and increasing the accuracy and efficiency of my designs. Additionally, the pre-built and customizable block library provided by Simulink, includes ready-made blocks for common tasks, such as filtering and parameter estimation , which are important design components.
>
> **Cons**: Simulink lacks in-built optimization tools and this limits its usefulness when we work on optimization-focused engineering projects.Integrating Simulink with other engineering design tools and software can be difficult , due to differences in file format , data structures and simulation methods.
>
> I use Simulink to model and simulate complex design systems. This helps me to identify potential design flaws and evaluate design alternatives before actual implementation.

### "Exploring the advanced features of Simulink for the design and simulation of complex dynamic systems" — 5.0/5

> **Hercilin Novaldi** | *11 March 2023* | Chemicals | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Simulink uses a graphical interface that facilitates the visual representation of systems and their interactions, making it easy to create, understand and modify models. It also allows rapid simulation of models, enabling designers to quickly test and iterate their designs.
>
> **Cons**: Using Simulink requires a bit of a learning curve, especially for users new to visual programming or systems simulation. The cost of licensing Simulink can be high, especially for small companies or academic organisations with limited budgets
>
> I used Simulink to simulate the behaviour of a robot's control system in response to external disturbances such as load changes. From this I was able to represent the system components, such as the motor, speed sensors and power controllers, and observe the real-time behaviour of the control system.

### "Used Simulink to simulate the basic virtual battery model used in the modern Electric Vehicles." — 5.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *27 January 2023* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Very easy to assemble the required function blocks from the available library to the workspace.Connections to the blocks can be made quickly and at our convenience.Adding a "Scope" block makes visualising the graphical representation between the different parameters easy.
>
> **Cons**: Sometimes take a lot of run time to simulate complex architectures. But overall very few disadvantages.
>
> I have used this software for my multiple projects, the mechanical Vibration simulations (spring-mass model) to complex battery thermal simulations over different drive cycles. Overall it was fun using the software.
