That removes a lot of the reconciliation pain you see with separate POS and ERP stacks. The functional depth is genuinely strong for specialty retail and hospitality, with mature handling of items, variants, pricing, offers, loyalty, and cross-store replenishment. The POS is highly configurable, and the omnichannel pieces, including the LS Commerce/Shopify connector, give a realistic path to unified commerce without building everything from scratch. > > **Cons**: Performance in SaaS environments is the area that needs the most attention. Some of the heavier flows, like statement posting and large transaction batches, can be SQL-intensive and behave noticeably slower than on-prem, especially under load.
