We found out about SideSpeak through a colleague who recommended it as an easy and faster alternative for smaller meetings. Once we started using it for our internal meetings, we found that it offered the major features we needed including screen sharing and was so much easier to use and way less expensive than our current app, we soon implemented it for one-on-one customer virtual meetings. > > **Cons**: We have been using the SideSpeak Premium edition on a combination of Windows and Mac desktops. We just started testing the app on our mobile devices (both IOs and Android) and although overall positive feedback from our users, specifically that you don't need to download any app from the app stores (which is helpful for our clients who have very high security requirements and many cannot install any apps) however, the UI does take a bit of playing around and sometimes the sound isn't great. It does work well overall but would love it if the user experience was more like the desktop. We're hoping to use the app on our mobile phones, when necessary, as an alternative to Facetime as we have a mix of iPhones and Androids. > > What makes the app so easy to use is there are no downloads or installs required to either host or join a meeting. Working with the SideSpeak customer service team, they showed us how to start a meeting with just one-click. No passwords or prompts, the meeting just opens\! Our customers, many older users, have had no issues joining and have told us they prefer this over the Zoom app as too much clutter. Security is critical for our customers and the SideSpeak app passed our high audit standards. The quality was exceptional with very little latency between participants. We use this for ad-hoc meetings, both internal and client facing, since it doesn't require any downloads and super simple interface. A great alternative to Zoom or Teams for easy of use.
