Comments: Excellent experience from a user, administrator as well as customer service

Pros:

Cost effective interactive platform that keeps on evolving Donor management Able to sell tickets for events and fundraise

Cons:

If donors do not contribute to help cover collection cost, Zeffy can limit the amount of collection per transaction

Excellent platform for non-profits, excellent customer support!

Comments: It really has been so amazing. I am new to our school's PTA and I took on the task of setting up a new payment platform for our fundraising because the one we used in the past had very high fees. I feel so happy I stumbled across Zeffy because they helped make what I thought would be a confusing and difficult task into something so easy and really beneficial to our school.

Pros:

The forms are very easy to use and worked perfectly for our fundraising event. We are using a combination of ticketed event forms and donation forms. I love that they have options for automatic tax receipts, thank you emails, reminder emails, the ability to add and even require short answer questions with specific purchases, and options to add notes to any order. I also love the data we can export to excel - specifically the weekly payout details and all the information for each purchase. I also like that we have the ability to scan e-tickets for check in! Customer service has also been so helpful and friendly. I have never set up a payment platform before and I have spoken with customer service and emailed them several times and my interactions have really helped me feel confident about my choice in Zeffy.

Cons:

I have not come across any problems with using Zeffy for our event!

Too good to be true...but it is!

Comments: I believe Zeffy is a great site! It's every non-profit's dream and an answer to prayer. To be able to receive money easily from anywhere in the world-free was almost too good to be true. But, it is true!

Pros:

The accounting is clear, timely and accurate, we get all the funds that our donors send to us plus annual reports and the support team is very responsive!

Cons:

1. That usingthe bank transfer method costs a lot of money - more than the regular route. 2. Some of our donors are abit put off by the appeal from Zeffy for their own use. I personally think Zeffy's service is great and a donation to them is well worth it but the wording could be softened so it is more appealing and positive from the donor's view point

Account cancelled without explanation

Comments: Very disappointing. Left us high and dry without any explanation or recourse.

Pros:

I used Zeffy with great success for one organization so recommended it for another.

Cons:

In response to a request for help how donations were processed, they cancelled my account without any explanation. Left a mess with my donors.

Zeffy Is The Totally Free Ticketing Soy!

Comments: After using other ‘popular’, but expensive, ticketing apps for prior shows we took a fly on Zeffy. We could not have been more pleased. We received all of the ticket price money for every ticket and there were no hidden costs nor fees.

Pros:

Ease of use. Very easy to stay in touch with our ticket buyers. Tracks seats and money very well. Constant updates with buys and money transfers to our bank account.

Cons:

Learning curve was a tad steep. Not being very tech savvy and a first time user, it took some time to prove and provide Zeffy access to our non-profit bank account.

Easy and Effective Event Management for Non-Profit Organization

Comments: Overall experience has been very positive. The platform is easy to navigate and customer support is responsive and helpful.

Pros:

Zeffy provides an ideal platform form for event registrations for my non-profit organizations. Setting up events and managing registrations is quick and easy. Registration forms can include custom questions which is essential for our events. The ability to accept optional donations has proven helpful. The fee structure which ensures our non-profit receives 100% of the proceeds from registrations and donations is terrific.

Cons:

We experienced some challenges in setting up our payment processing through Stripe, but this seems to relate more to Stripe than Zeffy, and Zeffy support was helpful in resolving the issues.

0% Fees & 100% Support

Comments: Stellar. I cannot remember the last time I didn’t have something to critic about a service or product.

Pros:

0% processing fees is huge. What makes the service stellar is that everyone and everything (platform, set up, forms, etc) I have worked with has been a breeze to interact with. The “pay to play” companies need to take some notes from Zeffy.

Cons:

I’ll update this when I find something relevant… that they’re not a bank. When I see something, I’ll let them know because already know they want this experience to be the best.

Wellness Retreat

Comments: Amazing. I did not have to keep track of people who attended, I was also able to log guest who gave cash and/or check. Very Simple

Pros:

The way it kept track of attendees, easy to send out reminder and thank you after the event. Love it

Cons:

There nothing i can say at this time. This was my first experience and i loved it.

Good Start

Comments: Still on first event... we will have more to evaluate at the end.

Pros:

no charge to the non profit makes trying Zeffy much easier

It is a little bit harder to use than ebrite

My Lions Club saved more than $1,000 on fees for our Christmas Tree sales.

Cons:

That users need an iphone to use tap-to-pay.

Every Nonprofit Should Immediately Begin Using Zeffy. No joke.

Comments: A+ across the board. I stated using it to save us money (or, rather, to be able to keep more of our donations). But immediately became a convert and now find myself telling everyone about it. If you’re a nonprofit… this has to be your donation portal.

Pros:

What initially attracted me was the no credit card / online processing fees for donations. But there are no fees for ANYTHING. The way they make money works for them and I’m a huge fan. But beyond that (and that was enough) — EVERYTHING is fantastic from the immediate setup time to the ease of use to their phenomenal customer service … the “savings” are way more than just not losing money to credit card companies. It saves TIME and is so elegant and easy to use.

Cons:

It’s hard to find something bad to say but I think the UI could be improved based on user feedback. It’s by no means bad and I like that it’s simple. It could potentially be laid out a little more logically but if nothing changed I wouldn’t have any problems. Currently their mobile app (iPhone) leaves a lot to be desired. I’d rate that a C-/D+ in its current state.

Easy and Effective!

Comments: Overall my experience has been fantastic! It has been easy and effective, plus it's FREE for nonprofits.

Pros:

It is very easy to use. I am not particularly tech-savvy, but I was able to navigate the program and create the forms that I needed. Tech support was available when I did have questions.

Cons:

I would like for there to be an easy way to manage payments for Silent Auction items. While there is something in place for on-line auctions, I had to create my own make-shift way of managing our in-person auction.

Zeffy is the best for nonprofits

Comments: Our experience thus far has been outstanding. We love the ease of using it, our donors love how easy it is to set up their donation, and customer support has been outstanding!

Pros:

Besides being free, Zeffy has become an invaluable tool as it provides a way for our donors to give knowing that 100% of their donation will be received by our organization. Besides that, it is very user-friendly. Easy to set up and customer support is amazing!

Cons:

The only thing that I wish could be modified is when funds are deposited once received. The donations are deposited weekly or monthly. I wish there was a way we could transfer the funds once they are given. Besides that, it is a great tool!

Rock on Zeffy

Comments: Overall, I would 100% recommend Zeffy to any non profit. Without question or hesitation, Zeffy is rocking it for the little guys.

Pros:

Obviously the fact that we get 100% of each donation. No other company out there that I could find gives 100%!

Cons:

Nothing yet. I need to spend a little more time on the portal understanding the ins and outs of how to use Zeffy

Zeffy for the Win

Comments: We are a raving fan of Zeffy. We can't say enough good things about the easy of implementation and from the customer standpoint your transaction is complete and processed within minutes. The new app feature that allows you to scan credit cards on the spot was a huge help during our recent fundraiser.

Pros:

I love the ease of use. Setting up and implementing new forms is done in minutes. Finding Zeffy is the best thing that happened to our nonprofit.

Cons:

Honestly nothing. We haven't had any issues with Zeffy. We love every aspect of it.

Make Donating Easy

Pros:

Can not say anything but good things about Zeffy! We recently ran our first fundraising campaign and the system is the best thus far for advertising/publishing a fundraising initiative, processing payment, and tracking donor information for future messaging.

Cons:

At this time, I do not have any negatives to say about the platform. The one hurdle we went through was ensuring our donors know about the additional cost percentage to support the platform.

Nonprofits Should Use Zeffy

Pros:

Zeffy has no transaction fees! Through another donation platform, I once had a donation of $1250 and only received $1213 because of credit card fees. Zeffy is great because it allows all of my donated funds to go toward my ministry! I also have used Zeffy for several raffles and have created an online store. It was easy to use and customize. Honestly, all nonprofits should use Zeffy and receive their full donation amounts!

Cons:

There really are no cons. If a nonprofit organization does not mind receiving their funds once a week to their bank account, there is nothing to complain about.

Most user-friendly platform ever!

Comments: I work in IT and have used many applications and platforms throughout my career and I've never been so impressed with a product like I have with Zeffy. Bravo to you for creating such an amazing tool that nonprofits can benefit from for years to come!

Pros:

The entire process was so seamless and pain-free. I found the customization and branding super straight-forward and simple to follow. I will continue to use Zeffy for all our fundraising event needs!

Cons:

Can't name a thing because the every feature Zeffy provided our organization was value-add from beginning to end.

New to Zeffy but so far so good!

Comments: So far so good WIth Paypal GIving taking over from Facebook/META for donations from that platform, we wanted to find another way for our donors to support us based on prior bad experiences with Paypal. ZEFFY is very easy to use form my point of view, I can put together a fundraiser quickly and easily, and I'm hopelessly incompetent! I'm working on a peer to peer Christmas fundraiser right now, "in lieu of gifts and cards."

Pros:

We do appreciate being able to set up fundraisers to easily and quickly and with little to no need for cyber skills. (I'm proof of that!) We also liked being able to set up weekly deposits ito our account. And of course, no fees deducted.

Cons:

As I've mentioned ot you before, I do not like the contribution being added automatically, and at a high %. I still think asking donors if they would like to offer a small tip or contribution would overall produce more income. We take the time to explain to our donors that they can adjust or eliminate the"tip'"..while also encouraging them to leave what they feel is appropriate, given that there are no fees deducted. This is awkward, but on our first effort we had donors very upset at being charged what they saw as a large fee.

Best reduced fee option for Non-profits tickets

Comments: Great experience. We run a non-profit 501c3 organization and we needed a ticketing solution without a lot of fees. Zeffy provided the best solution for us.

Pros:

Ease of use and customer support.I asked 3 questions which were promptly answered within 48 hrs.

Cons:

Lack email customerization. Would like ability to customize the colors of the emails and receipts so they reflect our organization.

Zeffy is Crucial to our Non-Profit Operation

Comments: Love it. Won't ever use another platform.

Pros:

The platform is easy to use and understand. All of the features are helpful to our organization. The ability to export data to Excel is excellent. The ability to accept online credit card payments if very useful. It is so versatile from ticketing, to donations, to registrations - we use it all. Not only is it free, it is functional and genuinely useful.

Cons:

I like the Volunteer features that no longer exist.

Glad we found it

Pros:

Ease of use, simple to set up and deploy. Having a platform that includes peer to peer fundraising was key to our selection.

Cons:

Customer (Donor) Relationship Management needs improvement. It's very basic and you're not currently able to link/collapse duplicate customers because email is the primary identifier. Unfortunately, many people have multiple email addresses. It would also be nice to have the ability to link contacts that are part of the same household.

Zeffy as a successful tool for raising funds

Comments: It suits my need more than I would have expected. I just started a donation campaign as a test and it's becoming the best campaign I had so far.

Pros:

They are reliable, useful, clear and relevant and answer questions promptly

Cons:

Nothing yet, I'm still adjusting my collaboration with them and so far, everything is doing good

Zeffy has been an absolute life saver for my small nonprofit.

Pros:

Zero cost for nonprofits, easy navigation in the dashboard, incredible customer service, and a fantastic donor management system that is also easy to understand and easy to utilize.

Cons:

I've had a few issues understanding some of the interface but that could be more from my own lack of understanding rather than Zeffy's set up. I wish there was a way to embed the donation options with the branding options they offer into my website rather than requiring a separate link but this has never been a big issue.

A great tool

Comments: Have had an overall excellent experience using Zeffy.

Pros:

The ability to use for ticketing, campaigns and setting up different shops.

Cons:

Some donors/purchasers have been confused about the messaging on the donation to Zeffy (it automatically populates and it is not explicit that a donation is optional).
