About Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a scheduling solution that helps users create shareable calendars and schedule team meetings or events.
I like that you can create several calendars for different purposes. I created customer support calendar on Google Calendar while my personal calendar is not messed up.
When creating an event on the web version, if you accidentally click elsewhere, the event creation pop-up disappears, along with the info you've already put in.

Google Calendar is my preferred platform for scheduling and organizing my life
Comments: Google Calendar is my default and preferred calendar platform for both work and my personal life. I especially like the ability to blend both and see everything in one place.
Pros:
Google Calendar is easy to use, and I especially like the ability to share my calendar both personally and professionally with different levels of authority, including just viewing and able to make changes.
Cons:
Google Calendar doesn't always get along well with Apple Calendar and that's a problem sometimes.
Alternatives Considered:
Best calendar solution
Comments: That's the best calendar solution in my opinion.
Pros:
Easy to use, works flawlessly on all Android devices and web browsers. I also like the ease of sharing calendar with others.
Cons:
The data mining by Google, but that's the price of the free software.
Save your time
Pros:
There wasn’t much to enjoy in my experience, the integration from Gmail was a nice feature and the automatic addition from notes and alarms was good.
Cons:
Really bad user interface, updates are bad and make the users experience worse, collaboration was impossible to use and access, dates may not save and makes the app unreliable
Alternatives Considered:
Great Calendar with seamless integrations
Comments:
I really appreciate how Google Calendar integrates smoothly with other Google services, making it easy to manage my schedule.
But, I find the lack of extensive customization options frustrating, as I would like more control over how my calendar looks and functions.
Pros:
It seamlessly integrates with other Google services like Gmail, Google Meet, and Google Tasks, making it easy to manage schedules and appointments. The ability to set up recurring events with flexible options (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) helps users manage ongoing commitments effortlessly.
Cons:
While Calendar offers some customization, sometimes it feels that there are not enough options to personalize the interface or the way events are displayed.
Helper Calendar
Comments: Overall experience is excellent. Because it is so easy to entered the data you need in google calendar especially if you signed in your account in your phone.
Pros:
It gives me early notification about my duties and appointments that I entered to my google calendar.
Cons:
I have to be signed in my phone to get notified. The bad things happened when the battery of the phone goes out of charge.
Google Calendar is the best calendar app that has the most integrations
Comments: I was initially using the Apple Calendar app, but since using GCal, I've moved over and never used the apple calendar again. It has been intuitive, efficient, and so simple. I've never had an issue with it. Even when integrating with other platforms or apps.
Pros:
The straightforwardness of the UI, easy integration with a lot of SaaS platforms and having standalone apps for all my devices (phone, laptop, tablet)
Cons:
Nothing, quite honestly. It does what it does, and it does it well.
Easy to use calendar
Comments: I manage all of my meetings in one place and also can add in events, to-do's, tasks, etc.
Pros:
I use Google calendar every day. I have multiple gmail accounts and all of the calendars sync in one place. Very convenient.
Cons:
I haven't come across anything I don't like so far. It's pretty easy to use.
Alternatives Considered:
Google Calendar is great!
Pros:
I like that it's easy to share with others and that you can choose the colors you want! I also like that you can add some general calendars like the Hebrew calendar and your favorite sports team!
Cons:
I don't have anything that I particularly dislike about GC but I do wish the list of "standard" colors were longer
Love Google Calendar
Comments: Google calendar has been wonderful it has integrated into almost everything. I can see it directly on my phone and it is so easy to book or change appointments.
Pros:
I love the ease of use and the way it can connect to everything!!
Cons:
I really dont have any negatives about this calendar.
Manage business and personal schedule easily
Comments: Great for calendar management, appointments, reminders, tasks, etc
Pros:
Simple diary management with integrations to popular scheduling and conf apps. Merges personal and business calendars for overall availability and scheduling
Cons:
sometimes feels difficult to import events, but not a big issue
Alternatives Considered:
Stay up to Date with Google
Comments: Thanks to Google Calendar, I have been on top of all of my personal, social, and work events, appointments, and emails. Google's integration and synchronization will keep me a loyal user for years to come. I have been so for 13 years and plan to double this, easily.
Pros:
I first started using Google Calendar at the age of 12. Being 25 now it has made scheduling, remembering, and managing multiple schedules effortless. The synchronization and integration across multiple Google platforms have been my favorite.
Cons:
A major disadvantage is Google's customer support. I ran into an issue where my account was accessed elsewhere without my knowledge. Al of my data, photos, accounts were accessed, altered, and deleted. I sought Google's help for months. Not only did they take months to reach out to me, but they were also no help whatsoever in the end.
Still loving Google Calendar!
Comments: My overall experience is awesome! I try to use all the capabilities and features that comes with calendar. I code all my calendars with different colors, I use all the fields when creating events that might help me remember details of what I need to do.
Pros:
In general I am a big fan of Google accounts and all the products that come with them. I love how Google Calendar help me stay organized for my private and professional life. I like the fact that I can have different calendars and turn them off an on whenever I need. I like the reminders and how they can be customized. The flexibility of giving access to different people and also a different role. So many things that I love, but I cannot left out the fact that both the mobile app and the computer one are both easy to deploy, manage and check.
Cons:
I don't have many complaints about it. Something that bother me though s when I am scheduling an event and sometimes I have some trouble for Google calendar to automatically recognize email addresses that I use frequently. I don't know why this happens, it's not all the time, but it's annoying to be looking for those email addresses in my gmail.
Amazing Calendar and Scheduling Software - Highly Recommend!
Comments: Google Calendar replaced our outdated paper calendar system years ago, and we've been happy users both personally and professionally for over 15 years. I highly recommend Google Calendar to other users, especially Outlook folks who are still stuck accessing their calendar from desktop machines only. It's time to make the switch.
Pros:
Google Calendar is our company's go-to calendar software, and my personal as well. From visibility of scheduling, to integrating with other calendars, to sharing and scheduling events together, Google Calendar is top notch. I personally integrate my business and personal calendars on the same view, and use the reminders feature as a running to-do list of all I need to accomplish in running both my personal and professional life. I can integrate/share calendars with my employees or family. I can also import and export calendars from other applications, such as our reservation system, which is really helpful for our staff.
Cons:
I have no complaints at all - just the irony of having too many events on my calendar, but I'm very grateful that Google is able to track and maintain my complicated life for me.
Alternatives Considered:
My business wouldn't function without Google Calendar
Comments: This is the most essential tool for working effectively as a solopreneur with clients from all over the globe. I would have lost countless clients, time, and money due to scheduling mishaps over the years if it weren't for Google Calendar.
Pros:
Everything is instantly integrated, updated, and synced to take into account my availability, scheduling preferences, and time zone. When working with international clients I never have scheduling misunderstandings, something that happened to me frequently before switching to Google Calendar.
Cons:
I wish that the bookable appointment scheduler could automatically connect with Zoom easily to have the links provided to those who book upon scheduling.
Alternatives Considered:
Best overall value out there!
Comments:
I've used several calendar clients and Google's own is still the most efficient and the one that doesn't give me headaches with syncing or any other thing.
The possibility to create reminders and tasks is amazing too, very few if any, have that integration with events and reminders/tasks. It's great.
Pros:
Simple interface, important features all present, easy to schedule any event, great syncing and the possibility to create reminders and/or tasks is a deal breaker.
Cons:
The UI needs some refinement and a much needed update. That's all, everything else is great.
The BEST tool for a successful company!
Comments: The most efficient and effortless calendar keeper. It's great! If you're not using it, make the switch now!
Pros:
Google calendar is a platform I use daily (weekdays + weekends). It helps to hold everything together for me both personally and professionally. I use it to keep my day running smoothly and efficiently, as well as schedule meetings with colleagues and clients. I love the reminders and ability to share calendars among coworkers, friends and family. I wouldn't want to use any other platform for my calendar.
Cons:
There is not one con I can think of with this platform, it truly is so easy to use and everything I would ever want from a calendar.
Alternatives Considered:
Google Calendar is great for what it does-managing complex schedules across multiple platforms
Pros:
Google Calendar is great for anyone needing a free solution to manage multiple schedules across multiple platforms. We use GC to bring all of our calendars into one place (Outlook, GC, Synology Calendar) and then pull those into our site booking/scheduling system to manage availability of multiple employees. In our use scenario, the power of GC is that I can easily integrate all of the different calendar apps into GC, allowing other users to stick with the calendar application they prefer and are most used to using.
Cons:
Very little to not like as the base functionality is free; the only con is related to integrating other apps through the developer console, but frankly that's just lack of experience with the console on my part.
Google Calendar is very useful and easy to use
Comments: It does do the work as a reminder or simple agenda, and since is totally free and easy to use, I would definitely recommend it in general.
Pros:
It could be use by anyone, easily integrates with any other google products and even other apps not google related. Very effective as a reminder app, very useful for event logs and similar kind of registries.
Cons:
If you are looking for something visually appealing is not necesarilly the best one, neither as a scheduling planner for something related to projects or secuential tasks. You cannot integrate images to your calendar, reminders or tasks, to use the calendar in a different approach.
Google Calendar - my personl experience
Comments: It has all the capacities that you would anticipate from a schedule. Also, some more - updates by means of instant message (which is brilliant for certain occasions), pop-up messages on portable and work area, repeating occasions and so forth Google Calendar is as yet in its essential structure and it can really develop into a gathering scheduler or booking application itself. I imagine that component is inadequate. Something else is that when you're being cautioned for a gathering, Google springs up in your whole program window and prevents you from seeing what you were taking a gander at in your present tab. It tends to be irritating in case you're dealing with something significant.
Pros:
The Calendar application has an extraordinary UI and is smooth and instinctive. The best part is the examination. The manner in which it can show me who I invest the most energy with is something I haven't found in a schedule application previously. It appears they are centered around time the executives and effectiveness and not only day arranging! While I've attempted distinctive Calendar programming over the previous years, I discovered Calendar.com to be the most astute among them all. As somebody who goes to a ton of gatherings with planned customers, Calendar let me give possibilities choices to pick between various areas with a location alongside every one. The Calendar portable application for iOS makes it simple to make, see, and deal with my occasions. The product is ideal for organizations that have a far off group spread across the globe in various time regions. It's anything but difficult to speak with our engineers who are both in Europe and Asian nations. The genuine pearl of Calendar lies in its Transcription include. I can record each word said in a gathering. So if there's any time I need to return to significant minutes during the gathering, I can do that effortlessly.
Cons:
Can only be accessed by internet access so it will be nice if google will change this
Organize your life with schedules and reminders
Comments: There is so much you can do with Google calendar to organize your life. You will never forget important dates and will be more efficient. Invest some time to set reminders or tweak a few settings, and you are good to go with this powerful and easy-to-use tool.
Pros:
1. You can create endless reminders and schedules hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly with a high degree of flexibility. 2. Different calendar views are available: detailed, overviews, Lists. You can customize your schedules and create reminders for important dates and times. 3. You can add color-coded multiple calendars, including work, personal, holidays, tasks, due dates, or whatever catches your imagination. 4. You can even include calendars shared by your friends and colleagues to manage your schedules and appointments effectively. 5. The search option lets you pinpoint any item and edit, delete, or modify it. 6. You can create events and invite guests from within Google calendar. 7. There are so many Add-ons available on the Google marketplace to make your life more efficient and organized. 8. In the settings tab, you can make so many adjustments to suit your preferences. 9. There is also a mobile app available to users for managing their schedules, tasks, reminders, and events on the go. 10. You get notifications for events by SMS or messages or pop-ups.
Cons:
1. Too many entries may clutter and disorganize everything. 2. There are privacy issues as you reveal too much about your personal and work life. 3. It takes time to learn so many settings and options and get used to the new interface.
Absolutely essential!!
Comments: A free, lightweight, clever Google app that can be used as one of the ultimate organization / productivity tools
Pros:
It's free, and it gets better and better. There's lots of clever functionalities included. I am 100% dependent on Calendar + Calendly to keep my life organized. The Google Calendar app on Android allows easy one-glance viewing across multiple Google account calendars as well as multiple calendars associated with a single Google account.
Cons:
The vulnerability of having all Google apps and accounts linked, and possible privacy issues at having your whole life on Google apps. It's both useful and rather creepy how events are plucked from Gmail and added automatically to my calendar. Wish the Android app has text formatting options like bold/bullets etc for the event description, similar to the desktop version. It's fine if that's a low priority but I really dislike that the text formatting done in desktop is removed if the event is edited on the phone app. Also wish it has a more refined way to auto accept/decline event invitations by default based on the sender. That said, I'd say these cons knock off just 1 point out of 100 points I'd award Google Calendar.
The calendar and simple wizard
Comments: It is a calendar and assistant in its point, give what they offer in the purest style of Google, ie offer several functions that only Google can give you, besides being synchronized with your contacts and holidays depending on the country you are, is an excellent calendar for those small to medium businesses, I would highly recommend it, more if you have the Google Workspace.
Pros:
It is a calendar and assistant created by Google, which makes your life easier if you are a person who is good at forgetting appointments, meetings, or any activity which requires a place and time. This calendar is based on a fairly simple and familiar interface so that anyone can manage and schedule or schedule appointments quite easily, I have been comparing it with the Microsoft calendar, and one of its strengths of Google is that with the familiar face of google, it is even more practical and easy to see with its colors that distinguish google, it is a more dynamic calendar in every way.
Cons:
What I did not like so much about this calendar, is that in order to access all its features such as scheduling appointments, scheduling different times for those appointments, even putting the locations of those appointments, etc... You must have a premium google account, so to speak, which is the Google Workspace. It is a service for small to medium-scale businesses, but it is an important factor that you have to pay to use all the features of the calendar. Considering the wide variety of calendars on the market, this is a negative point.
Google Calendar.. The Best in Calendar and Organizer Apps.
Comments: I've been using Google Calendar for quite a long time, and simple love it as it's only evolving more useful by including new functions and features with time as updates roll out. I can quickly find out about major events for each month and organize my own schedule to receive alerts at the correct time.
Pros:
Google Calendar is more than just a calendar and is a powerful tool. It not only displays date months and days with holidays and social, national and religious events, but it also functions as a personal organiser. You may use it to create your schedule and appointments. It's the ideal calendar tool, especially if you use Gmail, because it effortlessly interacts with it and even remembers your contacts' birthdays. It offers a highly pleasing and intuitive user interface, which is enhanced by background design photos and fantastic animations. It comes with a high level of integration and efficiency while being simple and straightforward to use. It allows you to simply share your schedule with others and ensures that you never miss an important notifications.
Cons:
After editing a recurring event to a different day, It sometimes is a trouble getting the original recurring day to delete. However, I eliminate the old recurring event and begin a fresh one to simply sort this problem. Apart from the above problem, its an all good to use app.
Google Calendar is the best cloud calendar i ever used
Comments: Google Calendar helped me organize my life for the last six years and i can still go back multiple years and look at what i've done at a certain time. Even when a phone inevitably got destroyed, i didn't think twice about loss of the valuable organization of my time. I think that's awesome and speaks to the consistency of the product. There are other tech-giants that won't loose you're data as well, but no calendar has such a wide and mature integration with this many platforms. That's why i love using Google Calendar and will keep on using it.
Pros:
There are many things I like about Google Calendar, but if I had to say just a few, those would be it: - ease of using multiple calendars to organize different areas of your life - easy integration of external calendars (e.g. for university, sports, ...) - Well working web- and iOS-apps, that just work
Cons:
There are not a lot of things i dislike about Google Calendar. It's mostly little UI and ease-of-use changes i'd like to see. Like if i'm in the iOS app and want to switch the calendar of an existing event there is no easy way to do this. You have to duplicate the event into the calendar you desire and delete the old event. The web-app doesn't have this problem, here you can change the calendar directly, even on an already existing event.
Google Calendar as a helpful digital calendar
Comments: Overall I have had a positive experience with Google Calendar. It is a very user-friendly platform, and I have found it to be very reliable. It has also been very helpful in coordinating schedules with others.
Pros:
I like google calendar because of the tools and services it offers. I like google calendar because of the tools and services it offers. I can set reminders for myself, share calendars with my friends, access calendars from all over the world, and more! I also like that Google Calendar has a clean interface that is easy to use. It is perfect for people who are not very tech savvy but still want to be able to keep track of their schedule.
Cons:
There is not a lot that I do not like about Google Calendar. The one thing that I could say is that it would be nice if there was a way to customize the colors a bit more to make it easier to differentiate between different types of events, but that is really just a minor detail.
