WE love RMS and wish we had switched sooner!
Comments: Overall our experience has been great! All the automation saves us lots of time and makes us look more professional as well.
Pros:
We like that it's cloud-based so we can access it from anywhere on any device at any time we choose. It's also very user-friendly for those taking reservations and the ability to easily take online reservations is great.
Cons:
Can be a little challenging when making changes in the backend, but if we ever have any issues tech support walks us through it.

Comments: Still learning setup and operation - this business is new to RMS and challenging to me and RMS. The database and training setup occurred during the busiest time of our Show. Many issues have been resolved over the past couple of months. More to come. All RMS local and international staff have been very supportive and understanding of my needs.
Pros:
Still learning the program, not fully operational at this time.
Cons:
Still learning - not operating the system long enough to provide an honest evaluation.
The worst system and experience. Never ever RMS
Comments: I have been introduce with RMS connection on December 2022 name of sales [sensitive content hidden]. After introducing of the demo was promised -system have a great use on the computer and mobile version is responding perfectly(which was the most important to me) - set up takes few days and will be all,set up to the desired result - training team is professional - support is professional and responding 24 hours -system is fast -integration of the system and Quickbooks is free EctWhile I sign the contract and paid for the training fee 1700 dirham I quick start completing all papers I was asked for. However once training started, after 2 session the team stopped as many options was not set properly. I have kept waiting for months and no one getting back to me. I have re call and recall and finally I had response that the training will restart on June 2 , 2023 (6 month after the sign of the contract) Thought ok and had fixed a meeting with new training team this time name [sensitive content hidden]. From the first day of training the things has stopped working again. Many errors coming, many things are not set, cleaning fees, financial parts. Anyway keep going till [sensitive content hidden] fixed some and again very pation 3 to 4 days to be done. Fail to connect any of OTA. They will never respond again
Pros:
Nothing. Was totally a disappointing from the start, the system the team, the help is zero. Unprofessional
Cons:
Nothing to like, the promises are fake, they will take the money from you and sent you to very unprofessional people. Fail to connect and over booking a lot. Picked wrong prices.
Gets the job done
Comments: Overall fairly easy to get your head around for the basics. Good over view of availability.
Pros:
Almost all the rooms show on one screen and for multiple weeks. It also keeps a record of old bookings that you can access when needed.
Cons:
For a large group booking you cant put packages on multiple rooms at the one time. You have to enter them all individually. Often the totals when creating one tariff for the group adds up to the right amount in the totals but in the accom when you go to print a invoice the total is different. If you go out of the booking and refresh the whole booking system it often corrects it. Also invoices arent arriving in guests companies in boxes. So I have to print off the invoice and send it via our scanner to the guest.
Alternatives Considered:
great features, cumbersome to use, set up is a nightmare
Comments: As far as managing straight forward reservations, it does the job for us. I can see the potential of numerous features, but it's mostly wasted in our small mom and pop company. If we wouldn't lose our customer history and it wasn't such a pain to migrate our database, I'd find something that is easier for me to use.
Pros:
The triggered correspondence and ability to send SMS to our in house guests are great features. Some of the reports are very helpful.
Cons:
It's cumbersome to set up, not intuitive, I find it far more difficult to set up new rates or make changes in set up than our previous 2 reservation systems. I'm not techy, and would not recommend it to anyone unless I know they are tech savvy.

Exceptional Service on a Sunday Morning
Comments: Tourism Creatures manage approx 20 properties on rms and the customer service has always been outstanding.
Pros:
Sunday morning user profile issues. Submitted service request and received a lovely phone call from [sensitive content hidden] who solved my Access Profile Issue so I could continue with my scheduled project with no delays.

Comments: Overall I enjoy the system because of the extra features. How much you can edit the sales and product listings.
Pros:
I really enjoy how many features the system holds. It takes a while to learn but the system really has options for every application. Ease of use is not always simple but customer support is very helpful
Cons:
It is tricky to know exactly where to go to streamline working through an issue. Most errors are solvable and explainable it’s just learning where to look.
Valuable and easy manipulate
Pros:
Clean interface and easy manipulate . Good Comprehensive function

Improve Email and message from OTA connectivity so that user use all in one.
RMS is very functional.
Pros:
History of customers, fairly intuitive to use and train staff.

Integration was tricky but we ironed out the issues over time.
Once you understand the program, easy to use
Comments: The most frustrating thing about RMS is the inability to speak to an individual when you encounter a problem. You write a message and often never hear anything back, despite multiple attempts.
Pros:
The interface with Owner Accounting is extremely useful for us. We can use the pre-set reports to account for the rentals on a monthly basis.
Cons:
There are some complicated intricacies in setting up the software. If you do not categorize things properly then the reports issued are not correct.

Comments: I am hoping they will work with us on this

We are a small company and they can do owner accounting

Recently we were told they would only store 48 months worth of data and we need to keep all of our records

selection of sites for multiple online bookings are no longer available. If you have a group reservation, the requirements on each folio do not automatically transfer to the group folio - they have to each be transferred manually.
All-rounder PMS Software with fantastic online channel integration and automation
Comments: Overall RMS has increased our efficiency, after some initial adjustments during the integration phase. The comprehensive reporting capabilities provide valuable insights quickly and easily, and the online 2-way integration cuts down manual booking input and admin considerably, along with the payment gateway integration for processing payments. Will definitely recommend to other Serviced Apartment providers looking for a modern, cloud-based PMS with efficient channel integrations and customisation options for various setups.
Pros:
The best part about the software is having everything in the one place to create, confirm, and process bookings including sending correspondence accessible anywhere from any device. The ability to connect an online payment gateway has greatly increased productivity and efficiency to allow staff to process payments quickly and easily without leaving their desk. The online channel connection is seamless and has reduced a lot of manual staff input for OTA reservations.
Cons:
While the integration team have been great, there are still a few things we require to be able to satisfy our full accounting reporting requirements quickly and efficiently for our business set up. Granted, it does differ to some other properties, however we do require a few enhancements for this to be efficient for us. The online booking engine, while cost effective and easy to use is quite limited and does not do much to compete with OTA's to enhance the property's direct bookings - this is potential room for enhancement.
RMS Training or the lack of!
Comments: New to the business 18 months ago and not soo young! we are looking forward to a break however, our biggest worry is leaving the park with someone because of RMS? - I think that we need a package named RMS Lite "Caravan/Holiday Park friendly) and someone to install and train the trainee face to face.
Pros:
Once you understand it - it can be useful however, it is impossible to recommend that has you afraid of it!!
Cons:
Hard to understand/use and achieve the most out of the programme - lack of one to one training and follow up by the company to support - train and help the users - over the web based training lacks understanding of the trainee - face to face you can see and check for understanding of the trainee. I am sure that more attention is required in this area so that the users can achieve a greater understanding and not be afraid to use the product features ---- please check with other users as I am sure that you will enhance the reputation of your brand and gain far more than loyal users.

Accommodation Software
Comments: For the most part totally satisfied.
Pros:
Most functions work seamlessly and are the same where ever I have used the program. I have been using this program since 2004 in various places and it is relatively easy to keep up with the changes/upgrades as they are implemented
Cons:
Sometimes slow reaction times and dropouts, but nothing is perfect. It would be good if there weren't changes all the time, if its working don't change it doesn't fit all businesses

Faulty product with crappy support
Comments: I have started the selection process for another product because I want proper support.
Pros:
It works, as far as direct bookings and Booking.com bookings are concerned. It synchronises well with Booking.com. we have had no over bookings.
Cons:
RMS is not capable to connect my hotel to Expedia. REALLY, I am not kidding. RMS passes the wrong currency. We are located in Cape Verde and they pass our prices to Expedia in Australian dollars. RMS have been working on this for over a month now. I have to beg for updates on this problem and all they have told me is that it is a very complicated problem (where it really is only a matter of passing the right currency for the selected country). Less important but still annoying problems are: Old (fashioned) user interface: Not all the screens work on a Mac, some screens only work in full screen mode. The application is not scalable/responsive.

Review of Support
Pros:
I like the new features for the Registration Card & the COVID-19 Tracing. It's also made it easier uploading guest details, photo id etc. Less paper trail.
Cons:
When loading rates, it can get frustrating when for example, we have 3 different season and rates within RMS. getting this to trigger or channel those rate on exact dates for online Agents, I guess it all about trouble shooting between the 2 servers. Plus it was hard when call Support and you would get 2 different answers from 2 different staff never the same operator.

Manual
Comments: I'm still in the early stages of RMS so I can't give a overall assessment of the system.
Pros:
I think once I learn the in and out of all of the side menu, and all the functionality of the data base, it could be very compatible for our company. In all fairness to RMS the owner of our company didn't notify me of any of the classes, so I was nearly operating blind on the first day of use. BUT the help/knowledge base was a life saver.
Cons:
My first complaint will be that there isn't an operating manual. Even a frozen pizza comes with step by step instructions. The software leans heavy on the side of the hotel industry. I think RMS is working on being RV park friendly but they still have some work to do. As an example with our previous data base we were able to move reservations quickly and easily to different sites to maximize spaces as to fill the park quicker. With RMS moving dozens of reservations over a 4, 5, 6, month period is extremely difficult to the point we will most likely stop doing it.

User friendly
Pros:
Easy to make bookings and checking availabilities.
Cons:
The only thing I dislike about this software is that they cannot sync reservations made from our Best Western Website. Just a pain in manually entering the booking everytime. It should just sync to save us time and also to make sure we have the room available.
Great service
Comments: Record keeping, financial recording, managing the cabins and cleaning rosters, RMS covers everything.
Pros:
We could no longer operate our business without RMS, it has an abundance of capabilities and is constantly improving.
Cons:
At times it can be slow but given the size of our database this is normal.

Comments: At times when you have problems its hard to get them fixed

Easy to train others to use it. Very easy to use.

Sometimes the training part where you ask questions is hard to find what you are looking for.

Comments:
RMS cloud is accessible from different devises, I can access from home or when I am away from work.
This makes it an invaluable tool for our motel.
Pros:
I find this software very easy to use and to train new employees
Cons:
I find at times that there are things I would like changed but this is not easy. Example is for Debtors Report, have the option of arrival or departure. So guests account can be calculated from the departure date (useful when you have long stayers) some of our guests are here 9 weeks by the time they check out the account is in 90 days.

Comments: Overall it’s good, we don’t use it anymore but it’s easy to work with
Pros:
It was a little hard to use this software at first but after that it was good. We used it for our front desk to check people in and out

There was no notes section or alert section to put important things about the guest so others could read about it
