About Ramp
Ramp is a modern corporate card and spend management platform that will help you close your books 8X faster—and save 3.5% on spend.
Ramp allows for you to create digital cards to put on file for the various subscriptions team uses. This is super handy to ensure you don't have crazy spending on systems no longer in use.
We joined Ramp after a bunch of expenses were already on auto pay with our bank - so switching them over has take a little while. This is less on Ramp and more on the time we joined.

Impressive System
Pros:
Ease of use and the mobile app has made expense reporting an easy process. Approvals are easy to review and allow for quick logging of expenses by GL codes.
Cons:
WE really have not experienced any issues during transition and ongoing experiences with RAMP
The easiest and most robust expense management.
Comments: Love love love it! It saves our business countless hours of expense reporting and management.
Pros:
This software makes no room for your team not to provide receipts for expense reporting. I also love the multiple digital credit cards with active/non-active controls. You can also set-up automatic lock on cards that are missing information or receipts. And it's essentially free.
Cons:
The UX could be improved on the missing items page.
Oil Field Services User
Comments: Was great until the ramp business limit was suddenly reduced without warning and froze all the credit cards. Looking into the market for alternative products after this occurred.
Pros:
The ease of use and visual appearance. I also appreciated the spend control functions offered and Ramp Flex products.
Cons:
The unpredictable nature of the moving business limit. Very hard to predict and currently looking at other products after a surprise drop in limit and freezing of cards.
Ramp is great for larger businesses not so much smaller ones
Pros:
I like the option it gives for corporate cards and spending. I’m not at a business size that is in need of that option at this time but if for some reason in the future I see my business growing I’ve definitely got ramp at the forefront of my consideration on what to use to track spending and cash flow automation.
Cons:
It’s more suitable for larger businesses with more finance data to keep track of.
If someone complains about Ramp, they are probably being paid by a competitor.
Comments: At our company, Ramp replaced the incredibly convoluted Concur system so the expectations were low and Ramp blew them out of the water. With Concur, each expense was a 30-90 second process. Using Ramp I can process all 25 of my expenses in 3 minutes.
Pros:
It is so quick to track expenses and capture receipts.
Cons:
I'm not sure if it is a company option that has been overlooked, but when requesting reimbursement for mileage, I'm required to provide a receipt. That doesn't make sense. I'm having Ramp calculate my mileage so there is no receipt.
Alternatives Considered:
Excellent product, best automated AP solution out there!
Comments: Overall experience is extremely positive. I've looked a long time to find this solution and am grateful Ramp put it all together.
Pros:
I love that I can have all my expense management tool in one place. I also love that the platform is automated to read invoices. Ramp is aslo free plus they pay the company 1.5% on all credit card purchases. Win, win, win.
Cons:
I'm quite happy with all of the services and don't see something I like least.
Ramp Review - Easy to Use!
Comments: We are happy and have had no complaints
Pros:
We left Expensify and never looked back. Ramp is easy to use and uploading receipts via text is perfect for all our team members.
Cons:
The structure of the online web page is a little wonky but once you learn how it works it makes more sense.
Ramp is fun and easy to use!
Pros:
I like how approachable and user-friendly Ramp is. It has a really simple interface and straightforward features. I love Ramp's receipt matching integration with my work Gmail, and I also like how easy it is to text a receipt to Ramp and have it matched. The previous software my company used didn't provide a physical card which was really inconvenient, so I'm glad I can have a physical and/or virtual work card through Ramp.
Cons:
From the perspective of an employee who just uses Ramp for monthly expenses and reimbursements, I don't have much negative feedback.
Alternatives Considered:
My favorite software product
Comments: Absolutely love how user-friendly Ramp is. Saves time, money and overall my favorite accounting product.
Pros:
It was extremely easy to set up, link to our existing GL (Netsuite), and learn to navigate. We had an option to try it out
Cons:
Not being able to enter banking instructions under out of pocket reimbursements on behalf of the employees.
My Ramp
Comments: I thought Concur was easy to use - Ramp is so much better.
Pros:
Ease of use - Ease of use - Ease of use Ease of use
Cons:
Sometimes the reimbursement feature is confusing to use. This may be a result of how my company management asked for reimbursement to be configured.
Ramp makes business easier!
Comments: Overall, I'd recommend Ramp to other businesses. I wuld like to see Ramp expanded to AR functionality to receive customer payments as well, this way it could be a one stop shop. Today we have to have more than one program t manage all of our accounting needs.
Pros:
Ramp has truly made life with company card, expense tracking and vendor management and payables! Having working in the finance field for 23 years, I have had vast experience with many softwares. Ramp is one of my favorites and is easy to set-up or disable users, track vendor expenses, and reimbursements
Cons:
We are able to manage accounts payable but it does not have accounts receivable functionalty at all. i've asked if this will be added to Ramp's future functionality before we have to purchase an additional package with another firm and have not yet received any feedback nor a response on this piece. ALSO, the latest update is not ideal with moving items that are ready to process to different tabs. I'd like an option to have all items remain in one screen while working through items that we can upload vs. what is missing items from the users
Ramp, best credit card product out there
Comments: It is great, I switched from AMEX to Ramp because Amex integration with ERP systems is the worst.
Pros:
You can create infinite cards, with different expiration dates, place the limits, etc
Cons:
I think the website could use some work, maybe it is better nowadays
Love Ramp for Expenses and Reimbursements!
Pros:
I like that Ramp helps me track the mileage I've driven so that I get reimbursed properly. I also like that Ramp quickly attaches my receipts to credit card expenses without me having to individually do it for each transaction. It cuts out a step for me and makes the process easy.
Cons:
I think the thing I like least about ramp is that extra verification step it sometimes makes me do but most apps and sites do that now. Since it is for protecting our information, I understand the necessity but still would rather put in my password and be done without having to input a code or something.
Ramp has been a game changer
Comments: Ramp has been responsive and easy to manage. I don't hesitate to recommend it to others.
Pros:
Our users love the ability to submit all required documentation from their phones and administrators love the ability to review without a lot of paper management.
Cons:
Requires a bit of work on the front end to set it up but after it is right, things work very well.
Alternatives Considered:

Comments: Excellent
Pros:
Easy to use and train employees, plus 2% cash back
Cons:
Changes to software happen without notice.
So Easy to Use!
Pros:
Ramp is so user friendly. It has all the features I need, while not being flooded with too much extra irrelevant stuff. There’s many ways to submit receipts which makes it impossible to forget to do so!
Cons:
Nothing has come up yet that I dislike about Ramp
Alternatives Considered:
Using Ramp as corporate card
Comments:
Using Ramp really made my life easy vs. using conventional corporate card.
Cannot image without using Ramp!
Pros:
Being able to change the limits of each card holder. Also, the speed of expense information being uploaded
Cons:
There is nothing I dislike about Ramp at the moment.
Ramp Review
Pros:
I love that you can upload and submit receipts from your mobile phone it makes keeping track of expenses much easier.
Cons:
It took a little time to learn but once I got the hang of it using it was easy.
Better than a monthly expense report
Comments: Love how easy Ramp is to use vs. saving receipts and submitting an expense report each month.
Pros:
Ramp is used like a credit card and uploading receipts is so simple.
Cons:
There isn't a feature I don't like about it.
Suggestions for Improvement
Pros:
Ease of mobile app and automatic connection of receipts via email.
Cons:
It is not fully integrated into our SAP system requiring additional work on our end to transfer work order numbers and service order tracking.
Trail of expenses
Pros:
Easy use and audit trail. History of spending easy to locate and drill down
Cons:
Some times it is slow to respons, but that is normal for such software
Highly recommend Ramp
Comments: Scanning receipts immediately in a text thread has helped us to never lose a receipt.
Pros:
The ease of use for all employees and management.
Cons:
I have no cons regarding Ramp. It has worked great for our company.
Satisfied Ramp End User
Comments: I use my Ramp card for department purchases. I can use it with any vendor that accepts cred cards so it is an easy way to make purchases.
Pros:
My usage is just as a credit card. Its very easy to use for department spending. I can give access to my staff to use for supplies, etc. I receive spending update emails so I always know how much I've spent and how close I am to my monthly budget limit.
Cons:
I have to enter documentation and receipts for purchases which takes time, but is not too bad.
Buying items from amazon
Pros:
Easy process, quick feedback, and reminder, followed by closing cases that were in question
Cons:
sometimes asking too much about text-confirmation when sign-in
Ramp Review
Pros:
Ease of activating credit card. Ease of increasing credit limit.
Cons:
Only 5 days to submit receipts or your account will be locked.
