About Quizlet
Quizlet provides teachers with a variety of learning materials & methods, study sets & classroom games. It is accessible from anywhere.
I use quizlet on a daily basis for my needs. For me, I need quizlet to rapidly memorize stats on many different car models in order to effectively build reviews on each car.
The prompts to upgrade to Quizlet Plus are a bit annoying, but I understand the company is trying to make money.

Not so good for the free version
Comments: I start using it to learn french and in the begining it help me a lot because i was only studying vacubalary. But in the with the passing of time when i wanted to do more complex card i can't so i have to use other software for that poruse
Pros:
All the features are easy to use. I love that they include the funtion to search other users study sets so you can use it too. Also all the study modes that it have really help you changing your study type.
Cons:
A lot of the most interesting features that it have are restricted to the premium version so for simple study cards its okay but if you want something more elaborated ones you will be very limited.
Quizlet’s quick engagement
Comments: Overall this is a classic tool in my teaching toolkit. I use it for teaching vocabulary, revision study skills and gamifying learning.
Pros:
The ability to share and customise sets. Students can create their own or I can modify existing sets. The revision activities are engaging and the team options inspire collaboration.
Cons:
It isn’t as aesthetically engaging as some other quiz sites for young people.
Quizlet review
Comments: My overall experience is 10/10. I highly recommend using this platform to study.
Pros:
I use it to study for my Music Therapy Exam. It has several testing options that people upload.
Cons:
There are no cons. When you have the yearly Subscription; you have access to everything.
Quizlet 5/10
Pros:
Integrating quizlet was very easy. It is a very simple application and can be used for many things; learning strategies, testing learning, reviewing items, etc.
Cons:
I felt like there were some issues with the reporting tool and advancing different things. I wanted to do interactive style quizzes, but quizlet didnt offer that. Although it had interactive features and gamification, it wasnt as much as an application like Kahoot or Quizizz
Quizlet for quiz
Pros:
You will find many questions for your topic on quizlet
Cons:
Sometimes the answer is to question is vague
Excite Your Classroom with Quizlet
Comments: Quizlet has been a game changer in my classroom. I love the excitement it brings into our classroom, along with the great practice.
Pros:
Quizlet is easy and fast to use, and the students love using it. The best part is it is a great tool to help students review vocabulary! As a teacher, I love the Quizlet Live part of the tool. The excitement it brings is amazing!
Cons:
I don't have anything negative to say about Quizlet.
Quizlet makes studying more enjoyable and organized
Pros:
I liked that quizlet keeps everything in one place. Rather than having flash cards to look through it’s much easier to look at them online and not have to keep up with a physical copy.
Cons:
I don’t really have a complaint for quizlet. I use quizlet plus and feel the price is fair.
Great Practice
Pros:
I love using this as independent review and practice. It also gives me data for what students missed. There is a large library of already created resources to choose from.
Cons:
I do not enjoy doing this live because when a student finishes they sit and wait.
Build Your Testing Confidence with Quizlet
Comments: Quizlet was such a help to me as a study guide for my Medical Assisting recertification. I had not been to school in 30 years, so the practice tests gave me a chance to practice test taking again!
Pros:
Such a great tool to help study for an exam!
Cons:
Some of the tests practice tests were too easy.

Great Review Tool
Comments: Great experience overall. Students love when I allow them to use Quizlet to review.
Pros:
Digital reviews allow students to own their learning and review key vocabulary. I also like the feature where students can create their own digital flash cards.
Cons:
Some of the features are dated. Maybe Quizlet can update their digital games/functions for student vocabulary review.
Incorporate Collaboration
Comments: Quizlet is a great tool that allows me the learner to learn and retain new knowledge for a reasonably low price.
Pros:
In Quizlet, there are many modes in which the learner can study a topic in various methods of learners
Cons:
Anyone is allowed to create a study set and there is no bot that reviews and corrects the information given. This can create misinformation for the learner when utilizing the study set on Quizlet.
Quizlet Doesn't Deliver
Comments: They cater to the students/teachers who use the free Quizlet. The software is cumbersome. They develop new features but haven't bothered to upgrade the unsophisticated systems that they had. The new features offer little benefit to me. Some of the changes that have been made make if more difficult for me to maneuver back and forth between classes and students. The few things I do use don't even work as well as they did when I first subscribed. The interactive features seem much more geared to elementary students. It seems almost impossible to contact them for help. The help offered via the bot, is time consuming and not customer friendly. I understand this for everyone using it for free. I don't understand paying for a service that is values customer support so little.
Pros:
I like that I can assign students a vocabulary set for HW and can check to see if they did the assignment.
Cons:
The software is geared toward the free users. I teach high school, and the programs seem geared toward elementary or self study. If my students use multiple devices (phone and computers) they have to create an account for each device. It isn't user friendly for the students. The sets come up automatically for them, but they aren't in my teacher system, so their work doesn't show unless I look their account up individually. This defeats the point of Analytics. I can't go back and forth between my class and the individuals without additional clicks back and forth. The software is cumbersome. I can't easily copy and paste from one class to another, without them being linked, which prohibits me from making changes in one that I don't want in the other. I'm sure there is a way-but too time consuming to figure it out. I even tried customer support directly. NOT PARTICULARLY HELPFUL. Their is almost zero customer support and help. Talking to a bot is not my idea of support. The value for Quizlet Plus is low.
Quizlet is a help
Comments: Quizlet really helped me feel comfortable for an upcoming test and I recommended it to a coworker that was taking a similar required test.
Pros:
I loved that I was able to use Quizlet to help me prep for a test that I needed for my job. It is important to pass the test and Quizlet helped me review the material.
Cons:
Sometimes people put up quizzes that have incorrect material or answers.
Quizlet Ruined
Pros:
Quizlet is well known and is used much by people around the globe. They are being ripped off.
Cons:
Since they made Quizlet Plus, all the features that are new are quite annoying and hard to use, and the only convenient features previously are now pay to use. Knowt.io is a lot better than quizlet.
Fun Learning
Comments: Quizlet has so many benefits and I believe all language courses should incorporate it somehow. it is innovative and interactive and keeps students motivated.
Pros:
The most impactful feature is how the flashcards can be learned not just as a flashcard but also as other games and formats and it helps to keep the words in a random order making sure all the words are studied properly. I also like how fun it is and how it keeps track of the progress to give a good idea of how the students are doing with the new vocabulary.
Cons:
The "live mode" requires at least 2 plus players but sometimes you are just tutoring one student and so it would be fun to also use the feature with just one player to give another alternative way of testing the student's progress.
Quizlet has facilitated my operations and productivity of the work team
Comments: It has made it much easier for us to carry out preliminary evaluation of students and they really like the interaction generated
Pros:
infinite possibilities for the application of simple tests that show basic acquisition of knowledge
Cons:
everything in this tool is to my liking and that of my team
Alternatives Considered:
Quizlet has gone downhill
Pros:
Quizlet is extremely easy to use, and a lot of other websites have made it really easy to upload information or vocabulary sets from Quizlet to use in more personalized ways. There are many quality sets already on Quizlet.
Cons:
Quizlet's quality has gone downhill in the past couple months since they changed things around. Their "learning" method, which is a multiple choice method that allows you to revisit missed questions, is now only available with the paid version of Quizlet. They let you test out the "learning" method for a few rounds, and then take it away from you, leaving you with a sense of incomplete learning. Not worth your time.
Quizlet: Student's Review Buddy
Comments: Quizlet is indeed a beneficial tool for everyone. It has an easy navigation interface, different review modes, and gamification tools which help users to learn and be prepared for their examinations. Not to mention the encouraging quotes shown in the screen, everytime you finished reviewing. Quizlet is such a big help!
Pros:
What I really like about this software is that it helps me to prepare for tests. It also offers different review options depending on the lesson and how I learn best.
Cons:
What I like the least about this software is that basic account is flooded by ads that can distract users' attention. Even though some of them are easy to ignore, but few seem overwhelming.
Quizlet: An Essential Tool for Language Learning
Comments: I have been using Quizlet for several years in teaching not only the Italian language but also for my literature and cinema courses. It's an absolute must-have tool!
Pros:
It's ease of use, mobility, and functionality.
Cons:
Quizlet should fix the live set-up to make it easier for the instructor to add students to groups or to create groups more easily.
Gem
Comments: So since I am a high school student so I have a lot of apps that I use to ofc make my grades higher and use them for review. This is the easiest and best way to learn. I make flash cards for exactly every test. I promise if I didn’t had this app I would fail my bIM class cuz I hate bIM since I have to know many vocabulary so I just make flash cards in quizlet. Best app ever
Pros:
I don’t care what other people say like literally this app is a gem and you can not change my point of view.
Cons:
I love everything about it. There is nothing about this app that should be change.
Quizlet: The Flashcard Study Aid
Comments: Ultimately, Quizlet is a great study tool that can also be used in businesses to train new employees which is helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking to train employees quickly and effectively.
Pros:
I used Quizlet extensively when I was in university and it is great for studying, due to the flashcard functionality of Quizlet. However, it is also useful in a business setting, especially for training new employees. Quizlet is very easy and intuitive to use thanks to its clean interface. You can also share ‘study sets’ with other users easily which is useful. There are many study modes on Quizlet like Learn mode which help greatly with studying. Finally, the smart grading feature is also quite useful because it corrects answers more accurately accounting for small mistakes in open ended questions.
Cons:
The Pro membership has become quite expensive over the past few years which may be unappealing for some people.
Quizlet Review
Pros:
I really liked the variability of options and topics.
Cons:
Sometimes there is empty flash cards that needs to be answered.
Quizlet: The Perfected Digital Flash Cards.
Comments: I usually do not give many software 5-stars, but Quizlet honestly deserves it. It has helped me so much on tests, quizzes, and projects. I can login in and my pass flashcards will be saved; I am able to look back at them anytime. Thank you Quizlet for making my life easier.
Pros:
I love the flashcards and the matching feature that Quizlet provides. With a tap or a click, we are able to see the right answer, or a definition of a word. This has helped me so much throughout school, and I was able to learn so much because of this app. I was a heavy Advanced Placement course taker, and without this app, I would not have passed my exams.
Cons:
I thought countless minutes about this question, and I believe I do not dislike anything about Quizlet. This app is the definition of perfection itself. It provided me and aid me through so many school-related stuff.
Quizlet is near perfect when it comes to learning foreign language vocabulary.
Comments: If our district would not fund my subscription I would pay for it myself. It is very affordable, but more importantly it is almost a guarantee they will learn and remember the vocabulary.
Pros:
With a subscription I can assign study sets to students and they can practice until mastery. This single tool has been the most effective when teaching foreign language vocabulary. My students will agree. There is little or no way they can avoid learning the vocabulary.
Cons:
Sometimes there can be glitches if s a student uses multiple devices to complete the study set. On my end it will show as incomplete, but usually they can show me on their devices it has been completed.

Fantastic way to study!
Comments: I will continue to use Quizlet's website and the mobile app to quickly make and study flashcards.
Pros:
I have used Quizlet through middle school, high school, and college. It is a great way to easily and quickly make flashcards. I like that Quizlet provides multiple ways to study your flashcards, including games, type-responses, timed matching, etc. You can also make your flashcards public, share them just with certain people using a link, or keep them private.
Cons:
Some of the features like combining sets and duplicating sets may be hard for new users to find. All in all, Quizlet works very well.
