Pros:

EPay is inexpensive to get into and has just about every add-on you might need to meet your clients' expectations. It's easy to use and easy to train new users on.

Cons:

The few errors we have had occur have been on the client side with input error; however, the transaction declines are appreciated.

EPay Policy is a Game Changer!

Pros:

They make set up a breeze and it is integrated with our management system now too.

Cons:

The integration piece is a bit clunky because of the way we process agency-billed payments but they provided a workaround that flows well.

Epay policy - A great option for insurance agents

Comments: Overall great experience, easy to use, and cost effective. A great replacement if you are already using a credit card processing company.

Pros:

Incredibly easy to use and a legitimate way to pass on the costs of credit card processing fees to the customer. When sending a link to a customer, using the prefill feature provides a link for the customer with the amount already input. Sending to other insurance companies is cost effective at 50 cents per transaction.

Cons:

When collecting via ACH, there is a 4 day wait before the money is deposited into your account. However, this may be a normal industry standard.

EPAY supercharged our agency

Comments: Great so far. It looks like it has a lot of features that I don't use or even understand.

Pros:

Before EPAY clients had to mail us paper checks for agency billed policies when the company that didn't have their own payment system. This caused massive delays. We had to wait for the check, then deposit it, then wait for it to clear. What used to take 1 or even 2 weeks has been shortened down to 15 minutes.

Cons:

I wish the link to make a payment page was right on the main page. I have to click several links to get to it, which is annoying since it's one of only two features I use. I also wish I could send payments to clients, and not just carriers. Sometimes we need to send refunds to clients, and I have to hand write checks which I hate because it is time consuming. The ability to copy/paste the clients name, check amount, mailing address, and memo and have EPAY send them a check for me would be a huge time saver.

Great decision.

Comments: Helped us with every aspect or customers payment plans and surprisingly our payments to companies and vendors. When I signed up in 2018, did not know that these were even a possibility.
But boy do I like them.

Pros:

Like the ease, the speed, the service and the friendliness of Epays employees.

Cons:

Wish the lag time could be shorter on finding out if a Echeck is insufficent.

Comments: You guys have been FANTASTIC!!!
We would not know what to do without you!

Pros:

The ability for us to offer several types of payment methods to our clients is imperative to running a smooth operation. The ease of use is second to none and coupled with the reporting makes transactions clear and concise.

Cons:

The hefty increase in the check processing option was a hard pill to swallow - Had that increase been done in 2 smaller increases, it wouldn't have been as hard to convince clients to use -

ePayPolicy makes our lives easy!

Comments: Recommendation:
I think you could innovate further.
By allowing for a shortlink, or partnering with a someone like TinyURL. I typically take the link from the green E pay button, and shorten it. I then rename it, and text it directly to customers. This allows for a shortlink, with a specific link, this streamlines the process in which we can send customers invoices and adds a level of personalization. You go from having a link that is very long, to a very short link like this. TinyURL/customerpay341

Pros:

The ability to integrate ePayPolicy directly into your CRM is a game changer. By doing so, it allowed our agency to innovate in many ways. Not only did the agency benefit from it, but our customers reap numerous benefits from it aswell. Thank you ePayPolicy!

Cons:

This is a 5 star product, no complaints on our end, the only way it could be better, is if it were free!

Simple. Easy. Safe.

Comments: The relatively quick turnaround of receiving funds is great. the overall ease of use is great for both our staff and our customers. And I love when our MGAs/Brokers use it for allowing us to see our open invoices with them and pay those premiums quickly online.

Pros:

Like the title says. Its is simple to use for our agency, for our customers, and it is much safer than sending checks through the mail.

Cons:

the fees for processing payments, both ACH and credit cards, have increased quite a bit since we first started using the product a few years ago.

ePAy is easy to set up and use. Our clients love the flexibility it allows in making insurance payments online!

Cons:

There is a limit to the dollar amount of payments that can be made in a single transaction.

Great Product for Insurance Agencies

Comments: Ease of implementation and continued use of the program has been fantastic, and the timeliness of the customer's payments getting routed to us is quick. I'm quite happy with ePayPolicy!!

Pros:

I can provide a credit or debit card option to my customers to pay their premiums without it affecting my bottom line. The ability to pay agency bill broker statements was a huge bonus. I hardly write trust checks anymore!

Cons:

I don't have an answer for this question. I no negatives to express.

easy & fast digital payments

Pros:

ePayPolicy is easy to use for both admins and payers. The interface is streamlined and simple to understand. Fees are very transparent.

Cons:

I wish we could set up invoices with more than one payment amount option so people could select the amount which is required for their preferred installment plan. Also, most of our users don't remember that they can set up custom invoice links so they spend a lot of time typing out emails with instructions to send with the basic link. Maybe they don't feel like they are "allowed" to sign into our account or they just forget that it's an option? Better training on that feature would be helpful.

Epay is Easy

Comments: Very easy to enter the information in for client and explaining to them with fee applies if pay by ACH or creditcard and getting payment confirmation right away.

Pros:

It is easy for a client to understand how to make a payment even if they do not know how to use a computer.

Cons:

We only use e-pay for payments not policies. It was confusing at first who the payer was and payment information.

Great product for easily collecting payments!

Pros:

Using epay makes collecting payments easy-- we can send a payment page link to customers and even a link to a prefilled page where all the customer needs to do is fill in their payment info. Plus, we do not have to absorb any processing fees-- these are easily included in the customer total. The payment notifications can go to any staff that need to record the info and for month-end reconciliations, I can sort payments by our various accounts.

Cons:

I wish I could get a downloadable spreadsheet of batches for my month-end reconciliations. The website is slow, comparatively speaking, on pulling up info and reports.

Makes accepting payments easy

Comments: It's been a pretty good experience. We thought about switching to a different vendor for electronic payments because it integrates with our management system, but there weren't enough savings of time or money to make the change worthwhile.

Pros:

It makes accepting electronic payments easy. We did not have the ability to take credit or debit cards prior to signing up for ePayPolicy, and it makes it easier to get paid.

Cons:

I haven't been able to send payments to carriers through ePayPolicy, even though I know the feature is available. I can't find the carrier I need.

Worth every cent

Comments: From the ease of onboarding, to clients paying our office to paying our own invoice via epay it all has been super easy. Our representative [sensitive content hidden]

Pros:

Saves me time, postage and stationary. The tracking of payments helps keep everything in line.

Comments: Mostly positive, problems I've had were addressed quickly

Pros:

My clients like the ease of using ePay to pay their premiums; I too appreciate being able to easily pay my carriers and wholesalers. The platform is pretty straight forward to use and you can customize your individual page which is a nice feature.

Cons:

I don't like having to pay when I send payments--I pay a monthly fee to ePay so I should be exempt from those payment sending fees! I also don't think the "back" pages where admins check what's going on are very user friendly--it can be challenging.

EpayPolicy is a gamechanger

Comments: We have used ePayPolicy for years and have nothing but good things to say. It has helped facilitate our large growth as all payments can just be done online and there is no waiting for checks in the mail.

Pros:

Simplicity of the payment site and the ease of sending the link to clients

Cons:

The admin site is quite slow, but it does its job.

SET IT and FORGOT it Option for our insureds

Made my billing so much easier

Comments: Very happy with EpayPolicy for servicing my customers and making receiving payments a lot easier and quicker.

Pros:

I like the personalization of my Payment Website and the low cost for both myself and my customers to use this service.

Cons:

Sometimes the deposit time goes over 3 days which is a little rough but it has only happened about 2 times in the year I've been using them.
