> **Pros**: I like the "lines" feature. I think Moovit is better for locals than Google Maps.  Moovit allows you to see the lines on the map without creating a query for a specific route. Sometimes locals can understand better the context of lines than the actual software.

> **Cons**: It is community driven and sometimes it is not accurate or inexistent in smaller cities where the community is not strong enough.
> 
> Moovit is very useful for small, frequent travel within the city within a big city when understanding the context you are in is important.

> **Pros**: It really filled a void in my life. Public transport isn't very punctual in my city/country and Google Maps somehow never got it right when I started using Moovit (this may have changed in the years that passed, I have no idea,  I haven't looked back and only use Google Maps for driving). I love the look \& feel of the app, it feels natively friendly.

I also love the itinerary flexibility, it really builds on real life behaviour when you change your mind on the go.

> **Cons**: It's not available offline. It seems easily obtainable and a huge gain for people with limited data plans than need to refresh their itinerary on the go.

> I've been using Moovit for quite a few years. I live in Bucharest, Romania, and administrative tech is not a priority in my country. Moovit has been a life saver in terms of public transport. It's much more reliable than Google Maps and it gets the job done in a user friendly manner. I enjoy the GUI and the overall app experience.

I have many times opened tickets and nothing has ever been done about it\!\!

I also love that it picks the best routes for you so you dont have to figure out which buses you need to pick
I also love that it tells you how many stops are left before you need to gwt off
