Pros:

It is simple to use for a basic website. They have lots of templates available, and I used it for my wedding invitations, and they turned out amazing. I really liked it.

Cons:

To use the plugins, you have to pay, which is expensive. there is a membership option where I can use them for free or I have to pay $40 per plugin, which is costly..

My GoDaddy Experience

Comments: GoDaddy Website Builder is fast and user-friendly for setting up a website as quickly as possible.

Pros:

GoDaddy is famous, for offering an effective way to launch a website online making it a popular option, among small businesses seeking to create an ecommerce site.

Cons:

GoDaddy has limited customisation which I know if they can improve greatly on it, they will beat their competitors.

Website Builder good for first time users

Comments: Support for GoDaddy is great. You can get someone on the phone to answer your questions or read Help section. Website Builder works well for quick and basic websites, or anyone who does not know how to code.

Pros:

Pre-packaged templates help you get started and show you the type of content you want for each web page. There are free extras for setting up SEO and google analytics.

Cons:

The templates are fairly rigid and are mainly for basic websites. If you want more customization you can add HTML code but it's quite limited.

GoDaddy Website Builder for Ecommerce?

Comments: I think the website builder is easy to use and intuitive. If you want to get something up quickly and have services or limited ecommerce, I think this will work fine. If you have a larger business or more complex ecommerce site I think Shopify will be a better fit.

Pros:

Their website builder has come a long way over the past 2 years. It uses AI now and is much more intuitive and user friendly.

Cons:

The website builder is solid, but my issue came more with the functionality of the ecommerce side and some of the limitations that brought.

Easy and Fast Website Builder

Comments: Overall, it has been a great experience with GoDaddy Website Builder. One time, a domain I wanted was shown available but it wasn't available when I tried to purchase which made my experience a bit bitter. But other than that, the builder is amazing and I have used it on a couple of websites.

Pros:

I like how easy it is to make professional websites using the builder. There are a lot of professional templates to choose from and I can edit them easily. The website I created with GoDaddy Website Builder also seemed to load faster when compared to other builders.

Cons:

Once, I checked the domain on GoDaddy and it showed an available domain. I proceeded to create a website thinking I would connect the new domain later. However, after I was finished creating the site, the domain was not available. It was parked by GoDaddy itself. I am not sure if the domain search showing available was error or if their software automatically bought the domain.

Comments: My overall experience with GoDaddy has been great. It’s very intuitive, it made it easy for me as a beginner. It's perfect for anyone who wants a quick, easy way to create a website. For small businesses or personal projects, it’s a solid choice.

Pros:

GoDaddy is extremely user-friendly. I like the variety of templates available and how customizable they are. That's something I've taken advantage of while building my brand There are also integrated SEO tools helping your site get noticed online, which is a huge bonus.

Cons:

The downside of GoDaddy is that it's missing some more advanced customization options compared to other platforms. There are some limitations in terms of design flexibility if you want to fully personalize your site beyond the templates.

Comments: I needed a quick way to set up a website and Godaddy Website Building was my choice.

I love GoDaddy friendly and easy to use format for website building for beginners. You don't need to code at all. It has rethemed formatted websites already ready for you to put your own brand on it.

Cons:

I wish there was more of a online knowledge blog that can teach more people that know zip about web siting building how to build a website.

Comments: Overall I love this product and have recommended it to various other small business owners that also used it as their first website!

I loved that whether it was a standard site or a premium site there was a lot of sources to help build your website so you were never really alone while starting your own site.

GoDaddy Website Builder is a great tool to create a free website with any new domain. It features 100s of customizable, mobile-friendly templates for any portfolio or business and you can manage customer reviews, orders and social media integration conveniently from the dashboard.

Cons:

Compared to other website builders, there are limited design options. There is also not an option for custom coding for additional customizability.

All in One Package for Website design

Comments: Smooth, reliable and easy to use. These are words that the entire team uses daily when refering to GoDaddy.

Pros:

I love the fact that GoDaddy is a one stop shop with all the elite tools in building a website. GoDaddy has save the company money by replacing several programs we use to use to build websites. It also allows us to streamline the entire process in building our website from scratch.

Cons:

Don't have any negative things to say about GoDaddy as its the complete package for us.

Godaddy does the job...sort of

Comments: It was decent in the beginning. I started a website for the first time, got a business ozone and email for the first time, and created a very nice website. But after a few years and other competitors coming up with better, easier to use, and cheaper web design builders. That, and they increase the price drastically after a couple years and it goes from being affordable to being about 7x-8x the price.

Pros:

I liked godaddys website template options. The templates make it easy to create a visually stunning website without any knowledge on web design. I also like how they offer more than just websites. You can get a business phone number, landing page,integrated pos system, ect and they usually have a deal where they will throw one or two of those extras in for a nice discounted price

Cons:

There are a few things I don't like about godaddy. They limit your website design and creativity a bit too much. Once you get your site to a certain point it feels like you can't make it any better. Not because its perfect, but because their templates won't allow for any more growth. Also, I had 5 different products through godaddy. I canceled extras like the business phone, extra web address, and landing page, but I kept the main website and business email. After about 3 months I come to find that because I didn't renew all 5 of my products and only kept 2, they put a hold on my email address so I couldn't receive any emails and nobody told me this would be happening so I missed out of multiple business opportunities because emails weren't coming through eventhough I was paying godaddy for a business email account. They didn't seem to care all that much when I asked them for help either.

Great for e-commerce venture right out of the gate

Pros:

It's really easy to set up and get started with e-commerce. There are some missing features which caused me to move to another service-- no ability to do subscriptions.

Cons:

limited options for scaling businesses. Great first step, would be nice to continue with GD if possible.

Easy way of creating website

It is very easy and user friendly to create a website.

It is too costly for beginners to start a business.

I just don't think AI is as helpful as they claim

It's easy to set up an account with GoDaddy, and I like that you can buy a domain and pair that with a website design through the service.

I don't think the AI builder is helpful. The pricing is reasonable, but I'd like to see opportunities to work with real people through its service.

Great website builder for first timers

Comments: Good experience, I’ve used a few different brands and I came back to this one after looking at others.

Pros:

Great website builder for first timers, things are laid out nicely for you to see and edit. Making the whole experience easier and rewarding for new users.

Cons:

I was apprehensive about using a website builder with the name go daddy at first. I thought it sounded a bit cheap and basic. But its been anything but basic.
