Great platform for me

Comments: I would highly recommend Flipsnack for those who want to create high-quality digital publications quickly and easily. It is especially great for businesses that need to bring printed catalogs to digital customers and engage their customers with powerful features.

Pros:

Flipsnack is incredibly easy to use, even for those without any design experience. It also has a wide selection of templates and tools that make it easy to create professional-looking publications. Additionally, Flipsnack offers powerful features such as shopping buttons, videos, GIFs, and enticing pop-ups that make it easy to engage customers.

Cons:

Flipsnack can be expensive for some users, especially those that need a full suite of features. It also lacks some of the customization options that more advanced users may desire. Additionally, Flipsnack can be slow to load, which can be frustrating for some users.

customization with books - the ability to design them exactly how we want them to look is a big advantage.

Cons:

inability to archive books so they always live on our account but don't count as one of our active flipbooks.

Horrible platform lacking fuction and customer support

Pros:

We were initially attracted to Flipsnack for the PDF flip feature and the ability to add in image carousels, videos and use our domain.

Cons:

The platform doesn't hold your font formatting - meaning after you finish your project and preview, and you return to your edit screen all the copy returns to a small black font - a nightmare. No data features - your reports and decks have graphs and pie charts. They can't build them nor can they be animated in any way. The builder is beyond terrible to use. You expect a Canva type experience, however, this platform is lightyears behind. Incredibly overpriced to get all the functions they advertise. Once Canva adds these capabilities this platform will be obsolete. Customer service is only available a few hours a day. Every time we tried to contact support it said they were closed. We tried in the evening, morning the next day and afternoon - nothing.

We love Flipsnack

Comments: It has been very easy to use, no problems learning how to use it - it is very easy.

Pros:

Flipsnack is easy to use. We just upload a PDF of our newsletter and can easily change out pages if need be. It makes it so easy to send out a large newsletter for our members to read.

Cons:

We have not encountered any issues nor do we dislike anything on Flipsnack.

Easy tool to give our clients the perfect presentation

Comments: Great experience! Whenever we have issues it's easy to chat with someone to help us resolve. This allows us to provide our clients a slick professional digital booklets for their employees.

Pros:

Easy to edit - clean and straight forward platform

Cons:

At first, we would forget if we published it as private vs public and you couldn't go back to fix it. That was a while ago... maybe that function is better by now?

Great engaging PDF content.

Comments: I think it works well for our clients but the price is too high for the enterprise option and we will most likely be downgrading our service. Having a separate dashboard for each client would be useful if it was the right price.

Pros:

Flipsnack is a great way to add interactivity to PDF content. It is a great alternative to printing documents and making them more visually appealing and engaging.

Cons:

I don't think there are enough benefits to having the enterprise account for the price it is. I think the addons for making the account exclusive to one client is too high and should be part of the standard enterprise account.

Flipsnack is a Good Tool for magazines

Comments: It could be more automated. I have to type in, redesign everything anew with each new issue.

Pros:

The multi functions to create a magazine!

Cons:

I mislike that with the starter account you pay around 200 Euros per year, but stay with 10 issues, which in the end you have to overwrite that is reuse to create new issues. Why for the money paid not obtaining a new set of 10 extra magazines. Why pay each year and for what in the end?

Great way to share reports

Comments: It’s generally easy to use. And I have my finished collection of reports easily available.

Pros:

It’s a beautiful way to share back reports to clients instead of sending a pdf. And the possibility to insert videos in my docs.

Cons:

The price. And limited functionality outside publishing our docs.

Flipsnack is great

Comments: It's great. Flipsnack helps us to show all of our content in easily accessible ways.

Pros:

I like that I can offer pdfs behind password protection or create bookshelves for similar content.

Cons:

I wish there were options to easily split a PDF if I accidentally upload a layout instead of individual pages.

Comments: I enjoy flipsnack and use it as an integral part of my business however I do find it very time consuming to create documents

Pros:

Its ability to use anywhere. The cloud based software is handy

Cons:

Cut and paste doesn’t work well from a page more than 1 page away. The design functionality is difficult to master

their customer service rocks

Comments: I have been using it for almost two years and definetly they have been improving their UX.

Pros:

Definetely their customer service. They are aware of every issue that you might have until it is solved.

Cons:

You cant use shortcuts for underlined or italics, you have to select the text and then change it. Other times the whole paragraph changes so you have to undo and redo.

Great Price, Great Product. Easy to use.

Comments: We having been using the product for 3 years now. We have used it internally for previewing files to our team. Mostly used to share publications on our website. Great presentation of our publications. Full screen option makes publication easy to read online.

Pros:

Easy to convert from multi-page pdf to publishable flip book. The software is well maintained and fully functional when updates are released. Easy to learn, easy to use.

Cons:

I have no negative comments about this product.

A worthy option for business publications of all sizes

Pros:

Flipsnack is set up in a very user friendly way. It is intuitively friendly for publishers that may be new to this system. Easy to embed publications in your website and quality of digital imaging is very high end.

Cons:

Creating new publications on this site seems tedious. Prefer to simply upload existing publication files to Flipsnack to convert in a proper looking digital program.

Prices are expensive but you can easily get the job done

Pros:

We were able to get our work done thanks to its different content and easy use, but it was expensive, so we didn't follow up.

Cons:

We found the prices quite expensive, not every country has the same economy, so we find them a bit expensive from our point of view.

Great for small business content marketing

The ability to not only format content for ease of use but the ability to easily embed it on my website.

I did not have any problems using this straightforward software.

Easy to Use + Professional Look

Comments: Overall my experience is very good. I like the final product, it looks professional and aesthetically pleasing, the fact that its an online "book" is novel and makes my offerings stand out. I use my flip books mostly as lead magnets, thank you gifts and bonus content for my online programs. I think they present as high quality and special, better than just a regular PDF to download, and the ability to link and add video really help me integrate other content and give the user a rich experience.

Pros:

Very easy to upload a PDF and have it quickly turned into a flip book. Background colors and patterns, the ability to insert live links and video, allows for coordinating with my brand and sending viewers to my website or video channel easily. The option to turn off page turn sounds, create gifs, and have multiple formats are great extras. I especially like the ability to have a link to the full screen version without Flipsnack branding or similar publications featured BUT keeping the social share options. This creates a very personalized and professional experience for my clients and importantly prospective clients.

Cons:

I find the editor clunky and less than intuitive. Simply trying to add a line of text and a link is confusing. You can not simply drop in a text box and type, and then highlight the text and add a link. Honestly, I still haven't figured it out. For example today I tried to add something to an existing page and clicked on the thumbnail of the page in the right hand column of the editor and for whatever reason that little thumbnail image was now attached to my cursor even when using the back button and going to a previous screen the thumbnail was still there traveling with my cursor. It is helpful to be able to go back to an already created flip book to add new links or elements to the pages without having to go back to the original document and then re-upload but unfortunately I find the in program editor difficult to figure out. I use quite a few tools to create documents, graphics and video including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Adobe Spark Post, Canva, Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and more, so the fact that I find your editor a challenge is frustrating.

Pros:

I like how I can create and layout designs using flipsnack.

Cons:

I don't like some of it's features it's not that organize.

Easy to use and consistent

Comments: Overall this software is a great tool to present any publication or multi-page collateral. It's a great way to save on printing costs. There is nothing like holding an actual printed book, but for quick digital viewing, this is the best alternative.

Pros:

It is very easy to upload your PDF of your book and be confident it will show up exactly how you'd like to present it. There are several easy to understand settings for how to set-up the look & function of your e-book. You can even choose them to be auto-default settings so you don't need to select them every time. There are lots of interactivity features like a Video Widget and auto-finding missing links.

Cons:

I haven't ever used it to design the pages from scratch. I always design in Adobe InDesign and just upload a PDF to flipsnack. So I don't know if it has good design features for initial page layout. The one thing that would be nice, is if there was another feature for not just books/magazines, but for folded collateral like a mailed newsletter or brochure, etc. If there was a way to animate for multi-panel designs, like have them unfold and present on the screen the way you would view if it were printed.

Eduardo Lina: My review of Flipsnack

Comments: It is very good indeed. I have been using the product for the Six-Year Kugel High School for several years. The school management is quite happy with what I have created because it gives us the possibility of documenting lots of school activities in a way that neither Facebook nor the school site does. I have also used Flipsnack to document other learning activities. Flipsnack allows me to share them easily and have the contents organized the way I want to.

Pros:

I like the different options for creating Digital books/ Brochures , etc. I find the new Flipsnach very easy and convenient to use when I create Digital Books in BOTH Hebrew and English. The same happened when I created Digital Books in Spanish with the old version a couple of years ago, too.

Cons:

The uploading text feature for Hebrew needs improving. Since Hebrew is written right to left, I have to use the function that moves the text to the right so that sentences begin on the right part of a page. The problem, however, is that punctuation marks still appear as if the writing was done in English / Spanish, etc. (Latin Characters). Sentences that en in mid-line appear as if they were written from right to left. Appropriate fonts for Hebrew might be added, too. I guess the same applies for Arabic writing.

Happy with Flipsnack overall but few improvements suggested!

Comments: I suscribed to Flipsnack as I had to create a project for my thesis in order to graduate from my Masters Degree. I'm really happy with the outcome and I'll really consider to use it back again in the future. I'd like to say that the customer service is excellent and I think they really take the critics seriously, as when I asked them for the improvements mentioned above, I was really shocked and happy they did truly include them!

Pros:

Flipsnack is super easy to use, all the tools on both sides of the screen are clearly and well organized as well as nicely introduced. I love the fact that you can either upload your pdf and edit it online or create a whole project from 0. My favourite thing is that Flipsnack provides you with looots of different layouts to create your project (from magazines to photo albums to menus) and that is simply wonderful as it makes you look really pro. I also liked the fact that it allows you to insert videos and links and integrate those (but only in the paid version). Also, it's great that it allows for various people to access the account at the same time so that you can work together while making the changes!

Cons:

When I first suscribed to Flipsnack, I was shocked that it wasn't possible to write in the text boxes with justified text. There were only 3 options: central, aligned to the right or to the left, but no justified-text, so visually that made a huge impact and I didn't like it at all. I contacted the customer service and asked about it and they were really nice and said they would take that into consideration for their next update, and they really did! Now they've improved a lot since they introduced the option of text-justification. Also, I inquired about GIFs a few weeks later. I wanted to add a GIF to my magazine but realized it wasn't possible. After a little while, they updated that too!! So now it's possible to add GIFs and that's great! A negative thing is that when exporting the whole project into PDF the version is actually a bit poor and things move out of place, but the online version stays great.

Flipsnack for Wedding Packages

Comments: Flipsnack has served our needs pretty well. The final product is very nice but it is not easy to use. I would recommend working on the ease of use for the software/

Pros:

It is easy to share and add to an email. The final look of the product is very nice.

Cons:

The software is not user friendly, edits are not easy to do.
