Their customer support is also very good and has helped me when I've encountered issues with the software.
We create web software for a living, and we were so confused by much of the reporting that we couldn't determine what accurate numbers would be.

Clockify is the most incredible time tracking tool. Very simple and efficient.
Comments: Clockify has made it so easy to track time which help me to understand how well or poor am utilizing my time both at work and at personal activities. It provides clear time reports that help me to determine areas where i need to do better to achieve healthy work time management. The experience with Clockify has been a very productive one and i will keep choosing it over the other tools.
Pros:
Its seamless integration with work management tools makes it easy to track our time consumption during projects. Clockify has a very great auto-tracker tool that allows me to automatically track my time usage making the process very simple, efficient and less time taking. Clockify is very easy to use and i like how intuitive the user interface is and how neatly the dashboard is organized. It also has a very exceptional reporting tool that help generate detailed time usage reports. More to just time tracking, Clockify has some team scheduling tools that help me and my team to plan and schedule for our work shifts.
Cons:
I have not had any unpleasing moments with Clockify. I have genuinely loved everything about it so no cons to report.

Fine enough but not excited about this solution.
Comments: They were great with the setup. We provided some functional requests and those seemed to evaporate in the void. I'm probably going to look for another solution unless our "quality of life" requests are implemented.
Pros:
Simple to use. Nice interface. The support staff are friendly.
Cons:
Lack of integration with Google Workspace calendar and email notification deny-view-approve feature. I must log into the portal to see when my team is out. I should be able to see this in a team calendar through our Google calendar instead. The email notifications only have an approve button. What if I want to look at the request or deny the request? One-click on that notification email approves it. I should have a choice. This would be a simple update and the Clockify support folks ignored our feature request.

The core and basic functionalities are particularly impressive, with their user-experience and ease of use. For instance, time recording, task categorization using tags and projects, and the ability to invite multiple users to collaborate in the same workspace are all perfectly implemented features. They also have detailed and useful reports to understand team performance, how time is spent, and gives a lot of valuable insights. The free tier is particularly great for startups to organize their work without cost.
Cons:
The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, but it could benefit from some refinement and styling, especially the theme and colors. Occasionally, the user interface is a bit laggy, particularly the Mac desktop application.

My time management savior clockify
Comments: It has given me a better idea of how I spend my time, what activities waste my time, and how I can improve my overall productivity. Tracking my work hours by project has significantly increased my productivity and accountability.
Pros:
Clockify is now my must-have time tracker. I enjoy the simplicity of one-click timers (to start and stop), the project-and-task-level time organization, and detailed reports with insights into my productivity. And that it is completely free for unlimited users, what a game changer.
Cons:
While It is great for simple time tracking, it does not include some of the more advanced features you would find in other time management tools, like invoicing and project budgeting.
Great, easy and free
Comments:
I find it very usefull and easy to use.
I add collaborators easily and they start using it very quick.
The reports are great and very detailled.
Also if you need, you can do more general reports.
Group information by customer, person, proyect, etc.

There are some parts that you have to pay, but understandable. Very few cons.

The Best I've Found, with a Couple of Caveats.
Comments: It's been great, super fast to get up to speed with the basics and get to work! The oth4r thing that's been seriously amazing is the support team. I assume they're a small crew but they get you going again more clearly and faster than any big software company I've dealt with. Super-friendly and knowledgeable folks. You're chatting (or, I assume talking, if you're one of those weirdos who likes the phone 😂) in moments, and it's never taken more than 5-10 minutes to get the solution into my thick skull. This software is this critical to my livelihood, and that gives me enormous peace of mind.
Pros:
Clockify does everything that I need, without a ton of features that I'll never use convoluting the UI. It's pretty great. I'm a freelancer and I needed something to easily track time and tasks on various projects for several clients. This is that. I researched a lot, tried the trial, and really haven't looked back. I have recommended it to friends and colleagues and they're all still using it.
Cons:
I never did figure out how to customize the invoices exactly how I'd like. And I'd like a bit more flexibility in the grouping of items, i.e. it'd be nice to break down like this: PROJECT DATE TASK1: 3 hours TASK2: 1.5 hours etc. I may just be missing it, but if so, it's not obvious.
Clockify is really good at time tracking
Comments: Overall I am very comfortable with Clockify and would be hesitant to switch.
Pros:
It works very well for time tracking - keeping everything organised and well structured. I only wish we could use this as a full project management system, with communications for each project/task, but it does a really good job at the time bit. And I prefer it over the other time tracking tools I've tried.
Cons:
The inability to delete tasks, instead they get archived? It would also be nice to have recurring projects or tasks so we can effectively track time each month without having to close and open new tasks or leave the tasks open and lose the benefit of having the progress and status elements.

Using Clockify has changed my business, I am better able to track cost to time spent on projects, and assess where I am loosing money!
I can easily generate professional looking time sheets that I send to my clients along with an invoice, and be paid promptly. I can track my work activity to be most productive, and know where I am loosing time / money! Using Clockify on my phone and desk top make tracking time easy, and I no longer need hand written time sheets.
Being self employed, and ADHD, I can easily lose track of time, and be unproductive, Reviewing my Clockify app daily, has made me more aware of my time usage, and therefore so much more productive. I now deliver projects on time, and even ahead of time. This has resulted in increase income, as well as many more referrals for new clients and projects. Clockify has saved me on so many levels.

Clockify is easy to set up and use. The easily generated report can be sent to clients.
Cons:
There is nothing I don't like, Clockify has met my expectations 100% Having to remember the pin to log in on my phone is sometimes a challenge!

Comments: I have had a great experience with Clockify because it allows me to get reliable reports of the time I spend on my projects and the reporting to my clients is very fast.

I really like Clockify because it's so quick and easy to pull reports to see how much time I've spent on each project. It's also great for keeping my clients updated on how long a project takes. It's straightforward to get to grips with the interface and I've been using it for the last two years. I've also compared it to other applications and for me, Clockify is the clear winner.
Cons:
At first, it seems like a lot of things are happening, however, you quickly realize that every button makes sense. Getting familiar with the tool is a breeze.

Comments: Overall, Clockify has filled a large need within our company. The initial set up is easy. Adding new clients, projects, and team members is a breezy. Clockify has streamlined not only our tracking and client invoicing, but also team and independent contractor payments.
Pros:
I have been using Clockify for my business for about 2 years now. The interface is user friendly and has great tracking and accounting abilities meant for businesses. While we tried other platforms before finally landing on Clockify none of them met our needs the way Clockify does.
Cons:
While I wouldn't consider it a con, I would like to be able to insert a button for payment into the invoices and/or have the ability to connect our Clockify through our payment processor.

Easy time/project tracking for 1 person or many!
Comments: Overall, it's very user friendly and quite comprehensive. There are a lot more features than I'm able to use in my little office. It's very handy for what I need, but I can also see the benefit for much larger operations and complex teams.
Pros:
Ease of tracking my time on various projects. I wear a lot of hats, so it's nice to see how much time I'm actually spending on each project.
Cons:
I don't like having to assign a task to a project before the timer will start. A couple of times I entered a task without a project and didn't realize the timer wasn't tracking my time until I went to transition to a different task. Luckily, it's easy to go back a set a start time (if I remember approximately what the start time was.

GreatmTime Tracking Application for Everyday Use
Comments: My overall experience is very positive and I use it nearly everyday (or everyday I do something productive at least). It's a natural extension of doing this type of tracking manually, but with more automation. The reports are nice and I like seeing the weekly review every Sunday to see how I did compared to the previous week.
Pros:
The idea is very simple but well executed which makes it a huge boost. I use it every day and have a hard time not wanting to add everything I do it to understand how I use my time.
Cons:
I can never seem to get the auto-tracker to work properly, and I've tried a few times, and followed documentation but never got it to work. I've trained myself to be pretty focused on a specific task once the clock starts so it's not a big loss. Another small thing is time zone handling. I travel often, and the timezone handling doesn't make much sense to me. It will show the time of each activity as if you were in your current timezone when you did it which is kind of weird to see right after a flight. It's a nitpick, but I just end up turning off this feature, since I think the display is a bit confusing. I think one con that would really level it up IMO is adding apps for smart watches. I have a garmin so that may be lower down on the totem pole than Apple Watch or an Android Watch, but I would love to start recording an activity from my watch (such a natural connection!) and then get it to sync later. Description obviously would be hard to fill in here, but tags, projects, and more could be selected pretty easily. It would be a slight boost, in that I wouldn't have to use my phone at all to time, and therefore get to fully focus on the activities at hand.
Clockify keeps me from losing money from inadequately recorded times
Comments: So far, I've only needed the free features. I started off using Clockify to track how long I had been working on my leather crafting projects so I could adequately charge for my wallets and then my paintings. As I needed to work from home more often I started using it to track my graphic design work and out of office houses for my work at the printing company. It has been more than adequate, is easy to use, handily portable when projects move beyond the computer design into actual production work, and extremely helpful when projects get drug out over months,and I otherwise would have lost my notes on time worked on the earlier phases.
Pros:
I appreciate being able to easily start and stop timers from various locations. It is very useful being able to start the timer from a client's email in my gmail integration and then stop the timer from my phone app.
Cons:
Occasionally I'll have issues where I have logged onto Clockify in a firefox tab, but the extension won't recognize the connection and will only open a new log in tab. Sometimes if a client drags a project out over months, it can be difficult to find all instances of time records if I can't recall when the item was started. This might be more my fault for not understanding the best way to designate tasks and projects.
Great functionality, better reporting
Comments: I have been very pleased by my experience with Clockify! I use it to keep track of all of my project commitments/time requirements and I am able to create detailed reports that can showcase what projects, subprojects, and tasks I work on. If I make a mistake on my time recordings, I can easily go back and edit any entry!
Pros:
What I appreciate the most about Clockify is the software's flexibility to meet many different needs for my time reporting. On the front end, you can create new projects and subprojects/tasks to better keep track of your time; on the back end, there are different filters and functions you can do to create better reports.
Cons:
I think the initial hurtle to understand all of the functionality is slightly high, but it becomes more manageable as you use the software.
