We have used it for a little over a year now, and this was so incredibly helpful filing taxes for the first time. Well worth the investment.
Also, the email feature within HoneyBook can be a bit confusing. Sometimes, I can't tell if an email sent or not.

HoneyBook is the best.
Comments: I love this program. I'm not sure if there is anything really like it on the market and I don't care to look. This program has everything I need to keep up with the day to day in my business.
Pros:
I love this program. This is great for photographers and event planners. Likely could be good for another business as well, but as an event planner this program allows me to get inquiries, navigate them through the pipeline stage of booking, invoice clients and send contracts, process payments and build task management and automations all in one place. This program does so much, and connects to QuickBooks which is a huge bonus for me.
Cons:
There isn't really much about the program that I dislike. I don't like that the automations now have two types of files (legacy and templates). They are basically the same and it really makes no sense to me why they exist separately, but it doesn't impede on using the software. Also, the reporting is good but it doesn't really make sense as it's not as functional as I'd like. You can't look at a report in the program, you have to download every time, but, I make due with what's available.
Alternatives Considered:
Great for basic client tracking and proposals. Slowest for payment deposits.
Comments: I use the super basic functions of the platform. I am aware of the other great tools it offers - my business just can't afford the pro costs. I am on my fourth year using HB and still trying to figure out how to use some of the features.
Pros:
I purchased Honeybook primarily to keep my client details in a single location while gaining the ability to send proposals and invoices for the clean, professional touch. This area is very easy to use without having to hire a pro.
Cons:
To use all the features of CRM, you need to hire a pro who can set you back at least $2k. Also, the payment deposits are the slowest on the market - days! If you use Square, you get the deposit the next day - same for all other CRMs. If you receive a payment on a Wednesday, for example, you won't get that deposit until at least Monday.

HoneyBook is expensive for what it provides -- seek of softwsare for document management, sharing, and signing
Comments: Not worth the cost, expensive compared to other software
Pros:
Does offer document management / sharing to organize agreements to obtain signatures from clients, which is easy and efficient to use
Cons:
This product was pitched to our team as the supreme tool for doc management / / sharing / signatures, but it was no different, and had less features, than similar tools
Honeybook Use
Comments: Overall experience is great. I use almost every day. A few times a week and also collect payment using the software
Pros:
Keeps track of the projects. Auto reminder follow ups, financial records, project recap, booking forms and how the project details auto populate
Cons:
The financial reports are not accurate. Also need easier login for multiple business logins. Deposits take a little longer sometimes
I don't want to be with out it
Comments: Affordable, easy to get started, can do it all.
Pros:
Honeybook keeps me organized which in return gives me a good reputation as a service provider. I like that I can do it all - and at that from my phone because theres an app that has most of the features the desk top does
Cons:
There's not much to like about it. It meets all of the things I was looking for in a CRM.

Near Perfect Helper
Comments: Overall, I live using Honeybook. It has helped me keep my client's information and projects easily managed.
Pros:
I appreciate having all of my client's information in one place. I also like that it can be integrated with email, you can create documents and so on.
Cons:
I would like more creative ability within the documents. Also don't like how some of the documents including invoices interact. It's hard to explain. It's both easy and complicated at the same time.
Streamline your Booking Experience
Comments: The software has made our small business more efficient and allows us to focus on the clients, as we run a client based business, it is important that we can take the time we used to spend invoicing, requesting contracts, and following up on payments to interact with our clients more.
Pros:
Honeybook streamlines your process into an easy to use system, once the initial set up, from questionnaires to Invoices and Contracts you have all the tools you need to manage your projects. The desktop and mobile app add flexibility to what you can do with your business at home, in the office, or on the go.
Cons:
The setup process is a bit tricky and unless you have familiarized yourself with template creation, pay someone to build your templates, or find a premade on to edit to work for your needs it is a bit overwhelming if you have no experience at all with creating online templates or websites.

HoneyBook - the software I never knew I needed
Pros:
HoneyBook is very visually appealing and easy to use for both myself and my clients. The ability to create and save templates that I can edit and reuse for each client saves me SO much time, and it's truly so easy. It's very affordable and has already saved me a lot of time and headaches.
Cons:
I honestly have no complaints about HoneyBook.

HoneyBook is Sweet
Comments: My overall experience with HoneyBook has been mostly positive. There have been so many updates recently that it can be hard to keep up but all the changes have been very welcome.
Pros:
What I like most about HoneyBook is that you can have your scheduler, contracts, products and checkouts all in one platform.
Cons:
What I like least about HoneyBook is that there is no way to add a global discount code to a product or all products.
HoneyBook: Manage your business without stress.
Comments: HoneyBook has so far been one of the best tools I have used especially when it comes to small businesses. It saves you so much time while managing clients. You have everything in one place, from invoicing to scheduling and also tracking your project progress. It is very easy to work with and you do not need to tech-savvy to use it.
Pros:
My highlight is the fact that I can have everything that concerns a client all in one place. It makes it very convenient and is time saving.
Cons:
I do not have anything I like the least at the moment.

Pros:
Pre made templates, able to invoice, bill, estimate and collect payment from customers all in one place.
Cons:
The templates are basic. For our business specifically we had to basically create a template, but that was the only negative.
Waste of Time
Comments: Frustrating I wasted an entire day trying to use it
Pros:
Nothing I didn't get a chance to use it. I wasted an entire day setting it up and then couldn't send an invoice.
Cons:
Absolutely not user-friendly. I have used quite a few payment platforms but couldn't even send an invoice using this program.

HoneyBook Client Management and Automation Works
Pros:
HoneyBook offers various templates, contracts, proposals, and a client inquiry management platform. It is very easy to use and successfully integrates with Gmail.
Cons:
HoneyBook does not allow client data to be exported. This may be an issue for those who would like to transfer the data within the contracts to another platform / tool. There is also a need for more integration with other platforms.
HoneyBook has streamlined so much of our small company's communications and lead generation
Comments: We've been using Honeybook since 2022, mainly to organize our lead generation and some aspects of client-level communications. It's largely been a success, leaving us more time to focus on execution of our own projects rather than having to worry about timing and logistics associated with client relations (obviously an important point in public relations!).
Pros:
I like how comprehensive HoneyBook is in listing out contact details, project history, and communication points pertinent to specific clients of ours. It's been very easy to organize leads, inquiries, and potential client leads. Lastly, I definitely appreciate the automated capabilities with sending out contracts, invoices and follow-up emails.
Cons:
I haven't quite gotten around to learning all aspects of the software yet!

Comments: My overall experience was neutral. I enjoyed the instant deposit feature but the fees were higher than the industry standard. I did not like the difficulty of other features and made the experience unenjoyable for clients and myself.
Pros:
I enjoyed the instant payment feature. The fees were a bit high though.

The price is expensive for solopreneurs. The features are overwhelming and there is a steep learning curve.
Insanely Useful For Business owners

Useful features such as invoice creation, contract development and managing contracts. Great for independent business owners whether your business is small or progressing. Convenient tools for the structure of my small business. I mostly use this app for invoice, payments and scheduling. Features work wonderful.
Cons:
Can be a little confusing at first but eventually I learned about the tools.

The essential tool for freelancers
Comments: The intuitive interface of this platform makes it easy for me to navigate and use it, even for those with less experience in business tools. I especially like the variety of customizable templates and layouts they offer, which allow me to tailor documents and communications to my brand image while maintaining a consistent, professional appearance.
Pros:
What I like the most about this platform is its ability to centralize all my business needs in one place. The seamless integration of proposals, invoices, contracts, payments, and scheduling allows me to stay organized and save valuable time.
Cons:
One of the areas where I feel this platform could use some improvement is its reporting and analytics functionality. While the platform provides basic data on projects, payments, and clients, I would like access to more advanced and customizable metrics that allow me to more closely track how my business is performing.

Comments: They are super helpful with customer service and I love that they have local communities that meet up also!
Pros:
I use Honeybook as a bridal hairstylist! It has been seriously amazing for my business. It helps me keep everything in order during the booking process!
Cons:
They did an update this past year that has allowed for a lot of great automations. The only thing is, it has been extremely hard to keep up with and figure out how to use. (And I am pretty tech savy) But I do think they are great tools, it just takes a bit of time to figure out the changes. If you are new to honeybook, it's all you may know so it might work great!
