The best prospecting tool

Pros:

The features that help me to operate on every operation there is for prospecting makes apollo the very best of tools that should be used widely by marketers and business owners.

Cons:

The export limit is one thing thing that should have been increases in number and sometimes feel like a lot of extra work.

Comments: Overall Apollo was effective and continues to be the source of our leads/contact lists. No databases have 100% verified info so it's better to pay less here than use a competitor for more.

Pros:

The contact database and filters are very robust and making finding ICP contacts easy and cheaper compared to other databases. The platform itself is very very robust and offers way more than we use it for

Cons:

Inability to manage the email send amounts by mailboxes without a lot of manual work. If you have 100 emails and want to send across 10 boxes it will not automatically distribute 10/mailbox. Instead the platform only moves to the mailbox once it's limit is reached (limit set to 40 means 2.5 mailboxes are used and not 10)

Failed me, in the middle of a critical business trip over multiple days. No helpful support.

Comments: Low quality customer support experience. Much degraded from last year. Everything from the support chat interface that asks runs you through a wizard before each itneraction, the slowness of getting an agent, the quickness of closing the thread if after a long waiting period you step out of your desk or you end up working on another tab.Due to the company's weak support and broken functionality I was unable to properly execute an outreach campaign during an expensive business trip which was disappointing and expensive for me.

Pros:

Reasonable price and feature set. Used to be much better.

Cons:

Many key functionalities don't work as expected. Broken functionality due to low quality QA testing.The chrome extension has a 30% chance of working as intended. Support is too based on copy and paste templates leading to wasted time.

Very helpful sales tool

Comments: Apollo.ai is a solid tool that helps automate tasks and save time. It’s great for outreach and follow-ups, allowing sales teams to focus on closing deals. However, the phone number database could be more accurate. Despite that, it's still easy to use and efficient overall. I like this platform.

Cons:

I'm not completely impressed with the accuracy of Apollo.ai's phone number database. It could use some improvement to ensure that contact details are more reliable for outreach.

True all in one solution

Comments: 9/10 experience. I have used the majority of big Sales tools and this one is my favorite.

Pros:

All in one solution that also is easy to use. No need to buy multiple tools.

Cons:

They don't have a power dialer (yet) I imagine they will get one soon.

Saving time tool for self prospecting

Pros:

Absolutely practical. It’s so easy to search and find prospects with Apollo. If you also integrate with outreach you can minimize drastically the time spent in this task.

Cons:

Sometimes Apollo gets dry and it can take some time for it to find new companies/ prospects. The filters could work better too.

Diverse functionality and user friendly interface

Pros:

The best about this software is numerous features and services which a user can access under a single platform, one can manage and engage with their leads as well as connect with them with ease. They have an excellent database , and best best thing about it is that it also get updated. While its usage is very smooth and convenient you need not be a pro or a techsaavy for using it, it can be easily used with someone with basic knowledge of this kind of software.

Cons:

They should focus on their user mobile application to give users with more functionality so that they can have control over it remotely or during holidays, it seems expensive for organizations like startups or sme's, there are several other alternatives now available at comparatively lesser prices.

Comments: It was a great experience using Aplollo.io. I am a freight broker so we need to generate customer database and contact them and follow-up them. This whole process becomes so easy using Apollo.io.

Pros:

Apollo.io is a great CRM as well as lead generator. We can use different filters to search appropriate lead for our business. Also under engage tab software provides features of email marketing.

Cons:

Customer support it slow. No live support is available. Sometime some bugs are observed which make task difficult.

They reached a great market position

Pros:

Apollo has grown and become almost the default go to when it comes to leads contact data, as it consistently seem to be having the largest global database in many industries.

Cons:

I liked the amount of data per industry available and the ease of use. One can build lead lists very fast and the time to outreach is extremely low thanks to this, thanks also to the built in sequencing.

Comments: Apollo has helped me to solve personalization at scale, using sequencing, AI, and task management with alerts to ensure I am engaged at the right cadence with the personas important for my campaigns. I am very happy with their lead generation solutions.

Pros:

The beta release of AI writing to help quantify the real value proposition is cutting-edge and incredibly useful. The reason I use Apollo is that its email and task sequencing is the heart of a best-in-class lead-generation process. The productivity visualization and manager cockpit view, and call monitoring help me manage the work output and quality of the entire team and take steps to help them meet their outreach responsibilities in a timely manner.

Cons:

Apollo does not allow the use of VPN which isn't just annoying but can actually interfere with work if your company requires that you connect.

Best tool to find leads

Amazing platform for lead generation

Comments: I have helped generating close to 5000 emails in 6 months of marketing and management work.

Pros:

Apollo provides with free features and we can find 100s of lead on daily basis. Most important thing is that leads are highly trustworthy.

Cons:

Process of lead genearation for new comers may be little complex otherwise app is great and has a active team.

Pros:

I like the ability of this application especially in finding appropriate persons in different industries and easily connecting them to LinkedIn. It was a big help for us as a lead generation in finding leads for our clients.

Cons:

What I least like about this application is, if we extract the link of their Linkedin account some of them don't have a display photo. I think it will be helpful for us to have a filter portion that will able to filter out those who don't have the display photo.

Useful tool taking the headache out of finding leads

Pros:

My favourite feature is when you are looking for contacts details it will show you the details and the likelihood of how correct the email address is, this is super helpful as it shows transparency.

Cons:

I least liked the popups whilst using Apollo or the signposts to sign up to a higher tier membership it was distracting when using the product.

False pricing and False advertising

Comments: Horrible, find an alternate database. If they deceive you from day one, why give them your business

Pros:

It had a large database, but you can't access the unlimited that they advertise, they hide behind hidden policies

Cons:

They don't provide the leads they say they will, they give nonsense answers to why they don't provide unlimited emails in the "Unlimited Email" plan

Pros:

Apollo impressed me by being really simple to use and intuitive. The UI was excellent, and it was simple to use. The fact that it had strong analytical skills and made it simple for me to examine and analyze my data was another feature I enjoyed. The Apollo team's customer support was also something I truly appreciated. They attended to my needs with great care and were quite helpful.

Cons:

In terms of personalization possibilities, I thought Apollo had a few limitations. It has fewer options than some of the other software options available, which can be a drawback for certain users. Also, the pricing structure is slightly more expensive than other choices, which can be too expensive for some customers.

Comments: Overall Experience is pretty well using this software. My Productivity increase as my mannual work reduce for emails enrichment.

Pros:

Apollo is very easy to use platform for bulk email enrichment/Scrapping. You can Run sequence also by using SMTP or using your domain. Apollo have team plans as well as individual plan. You can create task also in this. Chrome Extension helps in finding emails from linkedin profile.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike in this software but sometime extension didn't work as requirement.

Comments: I would highly recommend as a trader with over 10 years experience. Apollo Council. They are at their best when looking for legitimate leads. It made my research work a lot easier

Pros:

I love that Apollo isn't just a lead generation tool, it can be used to both manage my pipeline and send streaks into an already busy workday. It helps me manage who I've been in contact with and who I'm going to talk to

Cons:

There's a lot to like but it would be nice if there was a small option to detect customers who buy in the free version as I understand you need to buy a subscription to be able to filter by purchase intent but 1 potential buyer from a group of 5 pages of free leads would be great

Shady company who screws over its customers

Pros:

Works like other lead gen apps, but it's not worth the headache.

Cons:

Bills you for unused services, makes it impossible to cancel, and will steal your data and sell it. There are more ethical lead gen apps out there.
