Fantastic Ticketing Tool

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: TIcketSpice has saved many nonprofits I've worked with lots of funds by the lower fees they charge compared to other ticketing systems out there.

Pros:

TicketSpice is an incredible ticketing app I recommend to nonprofits all the time to use. TicketSpice makes it easy to create ticket registration form pages as well as confirmation emails. Their rates are much cheaper than Eventbrite's and they have some additional features for nonprofits that outweigh Eventbrite.

Cons:

Although you can customize your registration forms, there are parts of the form builder that can feel a bit dated. Some of their templates could use a bit of updating.

Exceeded our expectations!

5.0 last month New

Comments: I am absolutely excited to launch our ticketing page! Last year we did it all old school (I schedule personal animal encounters) and it was all based on customers filling out a form, I call them back to schedule a time slot, send an invoice, repeat calls to have them pay invoice, call back for event reminders, and then follow up with email. It took a LOT of time and effort and we missed so many opportunities (I feel) since we could not secure their interest right away. With TicketSpice, it is eliminating HOURS of my time each week and I feel it will increase our sales since it will be a timely decision for interested parties. TicketSpice made it easy and affordable to increase our revenue while giving me back time to work on other projects. All in a very professional looking platform. Everyone I have worked with at TicketSpice is pleasant, friendly, encouraging and fun!

Pros:

Once I understood the concept (I have no background in programming or setting up something like this) it was pretty easy and fun! The templates offer many different scenarios so we easily found one that would fit our business. Best part in setting up....the support! Every time I had a question that I couldn't find the direct answer for in the set up steps, I used the chat feature and was connected right away to someone who took the time to understand what I was trying to accomplish, laid out simple directions and explanations to achieve that and in some cases even sent a quick video snippet of how to do it. I worked with [sensitive content hidden] a few times and he built my confidence in building this platform. Now I am seeing the benefit with using TicketSpice in other areas of our business.

Cons:

I wasn't sure where or how to start. The overview videos I had found were very general and quick. Then I found the Help Center and started working my way through those steps. Once I found this, I felt like I had a roadmap of how to proceed.

Not great customer service for customers with transfer issues...

2.0 2 years ago

Comments: Awful. There is no explanation about how ticket transfers work. And then customer service doesn't even try to help other than tell you to talk to event organizer. But could have at least explained how transfers worked on their site. Or anything other than I can't do anything. Also the "transfer" is misleading and false. It doesn't really transfer. It makes the person you "transfer" to pay for the ticket and then supposedly will refund your money. But nowhere in the screen where you can "transfer" your ticket does it explain that. So its misleading and misrepresented and the customer service never even attempted to explain that to me when I inquired or that if the recipient didn't claim the ticket within the 7day window it would come back to me. The minimum information that they could have told me but refused to. Overall POOR customer service.

Pros:

Being able to log into site and see tickets in system.

Cons:

The customer service refusing to even try to help me with transfer issues. Just kept saying there was nothing they could do or even explain how things worked.

TicketSpice is a great alternative to any the more expensive big name companies

5.0 last month New

Comments: I used TicketSpice for a charity event and had an amazing experience. Purchasing tickets, tracking payments, adding donations, refunding tickets, and checking people in on the day of the event were all straightforward and intuitive.

Pros:

TicketSpice had a great product that was easy to use, had a very reasonable processing fee, and had excellent support, both documented and direct support staff.

Cons:

None. I compared TicketSpice against many of the other popular ticketing companies and they offered the best rates without any loss of functionality or support.

Small company service with better than big company product

4.0 6 months ago

Pros:

My experience with TicketSpice is that they want to partner with my business - they want me to succeed as much as they want to succeed. I know that's a bit of 'business speak' - and I've worked for Thomson Reuters, IBM, etc. so I know the lingo. But with TicketSpice this has been my actual experience. We switched from EventBrite to TicketSpice and have not remotely regretted our choice. They worked with us to customize our whacky ticketing tiers, their rates make everyone happy (us, our customers) and when I reach out to them, I feel that I am heard.

Cons:

I would say that the only downside to TicketSpice is it's reporting. It's pretty static and the user interface is not streamlined in a way that makes managing whackey ticketing tiers easy. That said, I can easily get all my data out in excel and then manipulate on the back-end. I do wish the reporting was more dynamic.

"[sensitive content hidden] was definitely the key to my success"

5.0 last month New

Comments: I would give it A+. A bit confusing in the beginning BUT I am not "techy" at all. The customer service was AMAZING! I worked with [sensitive content hidden] and he made sure that alllllll of my concerns were addressed. I am a happy Ticket Spice user!

Pros:

I liked the patience and the thoroughness that [sensitive content hidden] had with me. I have already made a mention to my group of Playwriters!

Cons:

I wish they had a "set up for dummies manual"

We love Ticketspice!

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Extremely pleased, customer service is a text away, they’re helpful, real people. We can get good data, test out coupon codes in different advertising campaigns and see what our ROI is. I thought it would be hard to get customers to adopt, but they are!

Pros:

It’s easy to use, I even can customize pages easily. There’s so many features, getting add ons, merch, opt ins etc. it’s helping our business sell tickets easier than ever.

Cons:

I wish there was a landing page with all of our upcoming events and people can just visit one page, see our touring schedule and buy accordingly.

Helpful Ticketing Software

4.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: Overall, I've had a good ticketing experience with TicketSpice. The software is very user friendly and the customer service is relatively quick and very helpful. I do prefer to use it more for events that we are preselling tickets rather than onsite ticket sales, but I've managed both successfully through this platform.

Pros:

Ticketspice looks super sleek on the front end and has a lot of design options. I love the variety of ticketing options, and once you learn the software, it is super user friendly on the backend. There are a ton of customizable features that help make your event ticketing process a success.

Cons:

The reporting isn't the best. While it's nice to be able to customize some reports, the system is missing a lot of basic options that most other softwares have. I often feel like I'm having to do a ton of searching and manipulating to locate basic fields.

Ticketspice is awesome!

5.0 3 weeks ago New

Comments: From the moment I set it up, I felt like I could do it thanks to the support team. I am not ‘technically inclined’ at all, but was able to navigate setting up my event through Ticketspice with zero issues from beginning to end. Thank you Ticketspice!

Pros:

The support I was given with any little issue that arose.

Cons:

I don’t think there is anything I could say negatively about my experience.

Great platform for Ticketing!

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

This is very easy to set up and manage! The reports are detailed and the user side is friendly for non-tech-savvy attendees. But the best part about TicketSpice is the customer service! The team is available to help and they are so friendly and willing to go the extra mile!

Cons:

We really need a platform that can offer reserved seating and assign unique names to each seat.

TicketSpice, Ticket sales for nonprofit organization

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Straightforward ticket sales. Easy reporting. Great customer service.

Pros:

TicketSpice's customers service is always prompt, friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The "Payouts" report needs to be refreshed from time to time to receive accurate information. As long as you are aware of this, it's no problem at all.

Comments: Superb

Pros:

Excellent Customer Service - ease of applications - creative & fun functionality - quick response time - ease of adaptability - helpful video training.

Cons:

Do more, Make more, Keep More

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Our overall experience with Webconnex and their Ticketspice platform has been excellent. They have created a great product and backed with a great team to assist you in any way they can is a win, win for us as an organization that really needed to optimize our time and organize the way we did business.

Pros:

Ease of use and integration with our company was number 1 for us. We have grown up right along side of TicketSpice and it has only gotten better. The initial implementation was easy, successful and all due to their excellent support team. Their analytics is an important aspect of the software to us as well as flexibility to customize.

Cons:

There are always room for improvement and before you can even ask for it the team at Webconnex will most likely have thought of it and already working on it. They are always open to suggestions!

Peanut butter ticket time

4.0 8 years ago

Comments: I had a good experience overall. It's always challenging to switch versions but I found it to be pretty easy.

Pros:

I like the look and feel much better. Software looks great on mobile devices and loads fast. templates are easy to use.

Cons:

It is sometimes difficult to find what you are looking for, or the best way to do something. I also don't really like how you can't get totals for the different ticket types easily without pulling a report. There is that one graph with the sales trends which is helpful, but when your ticket types over lay each other, you can't really view them unless you zoom in extra close. Would be great to see those numbers with a roll over or a chart of how many and how much. Another issue is tokens. I wish you could set up a token and add the ticket types you want to instead of having them all go into the same token. I know you can set it up through the app to have the ones you want selected but having to update all the devices to do that can be time consuming. From a manager point of view I do not want my ticket takers to have access to types of tickets they can scan. Leaves room for error at a very busy event. When it comes to CSS I had some issues getting what I wanted to work all over the document. Front sizes would jump or not stick when I would use the HTML button. I finally gave up. Would be great to have a tutorial on how it works and if there are any tricks.

Blown Away

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Excellent!

Pros:

This was likely one of the most satisfying experiences I've ever had with any company, from design to implementation to speed of processing, and especially customer service. Top Shelf all the way.

Cons:

Creating and loading reports wasn't as intuitive as perhaps could be, and the reports themselves, once generated, had glitches.

Excellent ticketing option

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Excellent customer service. Agents were very friendly, quick to respond and gave timely, helpful advice and offered other useful tops.

Pros:

The software was easy to use, intuitive and facilitated event management.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able to share seating layouts from one account to another. For example, the venue we used had their own ticketspice account, but since we were a separate group just using the venue on our own account, we had to create our own seating chart layout and could not import their existing seating layout.

No ticketed events without TicketSpice

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: As a start up, we needed to ticket events in a cost effective manner, that still made us look professional with a platform that is user friendly for nonprogrammer types. Ticket Spice was the perfect answer for us. As long as I'm at the helm of our production company, I will never use another platform to ticket source our events.

Pros:

The ease of putting together ticketing for a simple event to the most complicated, professional looking results, and helpful, timely customer service.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is online customer service is offline on the weekends/Sundays. Sometimes that's when I'm working on the platform. But their online resources to find your own answers is really helpful sometimes negating the need to speak with someone directly!

Not only an affordable service but a dream to work with

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Everything about Ticketspice has been great. The website configuration was absurdly easy. Configuring the auto deposit was easy. And the check in software was absurdly easy to use. The few times I did have questions the customer support answered the questions pretty fast as well.

Cons:

My only complaint about Ticketspice is that they do not support Android. Once they have an Android app I do not know what they will be able to do to improve their service.

Thank you, TicketSpice!

5.0 8 years ago

Comments: We used TicketSpice for our largest fundraiser of the year; a unique Orange is the New Black-themed premiere party and musical performance. Learning how to use the app, tailoring it to our needs, getting near-constant and friendly assistance from the TicketSpice team, and utilizing the app during and after our event was all simple, exciting, and worry-free.

Pros:

The customer service was prompt, friendly, and patient. The app was flawless on the night of our event. The cost is very low without sacrificing quality. The app was flexible enough to meet nearly every need we had from start to finish.

Cons:

The only real con for us was some limitations with reporting. It would have also been nice to do a test run of the app in action (scanning tickets, etc) with a test ticket - versus having to use real tickets for testing our phones, etc.

best ticketing app around!

5.0 8 years ago

Comments: This is the 11th year of my event and I've used a wide range of ticketing software over the years. From eventbrite - to my own custom ticketing system I coded for Wordpress. I've tried quite a few ticketing options, and Ticketspice has been by far my best experience. It's easy to customize, and offers just about all the features I need! Whether I want to add on to an original order and automatically charging the customers credit card, update my ticket landing page, export reports or check-in with the Ticketspice app - it's been a delight. And... customer service is very responsive!

Love the on-demand support!

5.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Great ticket sales are in your control with this software. You have full customizing power and the option to create free or paid ticketing for your event. You can easily gather all the information you need from ticket buyers and when you need help, it's only a chat away!

Cons:

They have a very similar software called regfox, it is a little unclear when it is best to use each but the good news is, once you learn one, you can work on the other too!

Pros:
