Job Adder is a market leader

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Job Adder is a great system that is constantly striving to be better than it was yesterday. With a finger on the pulse of what recruiters need, this software likes to stay ahead of the game. The support team are quick to respond even in NZ timezone timeframes. Overall I love the system and wont be changing anytime soon. I've used this software for over 6 years now. The how to videos and software update videos are fantastic for time poor people that need to stay up to date making use of the upgraded features.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is the interface for my website wasn't customizable enough to fit the style. Therefore I post my job ads manually to my website which isn't great. I wanted to be able to have a picture and a certain font to fit my brand, but the options were too limited and the overall layout wasn't a fit.

An excellent choice for most recruitment agencies

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: It's been a positive experience - we like using the software and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Pros:

The product has vastly improved our levels of efficiency and rate of work; functionality is strong and well thought out - the support team are helpful and proactive at all times. A number of highly useful integration features are available, with new ones being constantly rolled out. A wide range of reports, including customisable ones are on offer.

Cons:

Whilst the UI is generally very good, sometimes there are a lot of extra clicks needed and a few further improvements in the user experience could make the product even better to use.

Alternatives Considered: Access Recruitment CRM

Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: We needed a next-generation, AI based tool to take the next step.

Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: The sales process and subsequent customer success experience were very professional and well managed.

Shiny when sold, nightmare when used

1.0 2 years ago

Comments: At sales stage Jobadder seemed to tick all the boxes. Seemed one step ahead in terms of integrations and to be providing an overall array of features that fit our needs. Once we got to use it, it has been a terrible, painful experience. We deeply regret choosing Jobadder and despite investing additional $ in the top setup package, we will now be looking to move to a different ATS after only 6 months. We stronbgly suggest you to look carefully into how each feature you care about works, because it will likely work differently than you expect. In detail, this why we think this has been a terrible choice for us:
1) There is literally no automation. Yes, there are email templates, yes, there are contracts embedded through hello sign etc, but everything must be triggered by a human. Moving candidates, send email etc. Nothing can be automated to a level we would have expected in 2022. Auto rejection email? Nope, move candidates in rejection stage, select all candidates, select action, select email, repeat every day of your life.
2) Jobadder is not the same product in all markets. Some features may or may not be available in the country you choose to put you data on. It's bizarre. 3) We got sold a product that should integrate with Aircall. We must record voice interactions as part of candidate note and this did all we needed. Aircall integration is left right and centre everywhere. Could not get it to integrate correclty. Took 5 months of tickets for support to come back with t

Pros:

Cheaper than others for 2 users or less

Cons:

No Automation Byzantine UI - Poor UX Integrations not available in some servers Aircall integration does not work Slow, time add up when used intensively Poor knowledge base Poor reporting features

Alternatives Considered: PinPoint, Lever, Fountain, Workable and Greenhouse

Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: It appeared to have all we needed, but little was working as intended once we purchased.

Hi Stefano, We're sorry to hear that your experience has been far from great and we appreciate the time you took to provide us with your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding what was promised and what was delivered, especially around the automation piece and the integration with AirCall. Our team will work with yours to solve these issues for you. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know what's not working, and giving us the opportunity to set it right. The JobAdder Team

Easy to use!!

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: I use the candidate search on a regular basis, I find it saves me time searching for candidates with specific skills. Overall I think JobAdder is an excellent tool! I'd love to continue to learn more ways to use it!

Pros:

JobAdder is so easy to use, it's pretty self explanatory, you can figure things out by searching around. I love the simple layout. I also that it has helped me become paperless. All notes are in each candidate file, I have access to information at all times. I also love the mobile app.

Cons:

Sometimes I think going through applicants is cumbersome and time consuming. On the quick view of an applicant, I wish I could easily look at the resume, and mark them reject. Or delete them from that screen, as in out of site, out of mind.

Alternatives Considered: Avionté

Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Avionte was hard to use. JobAdder is so much easier and much more robust.

JobAdder review from a Technical Recruiter's perspective

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: JobAdder's support throughout has been exceptional. I was part of the team to implement the product and they worked with us to customize the product and assisted us with adapting our workflow to JobAdder, making suggestions on how to utilize features of JobAdder to enhance our process.

Pros:

JobAdder makes tracking a candidate from the first contact to placement easy. One of the new features where you can view and modify candidate information without actually opening the candidate in another tab is really a time saver. Going along these same lines, the "New" Job Dashboard makes evaluating new applicants and reaching out to them quick and efficient.

Cons:

Emails received from candidates are not automatically logged to a candidate record unless the email thread originated from JobAdder.

We Love Job Adder

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: The people that we engage with at Job Adder are exceptional. They offer hands on support and are an absolute pleasure to deal with. They have a great approach to client service and their Helpdesk is efficient and effective.

Pros:

Ease of Use, Ample Integrations available for automation, candidate experience and hiring manager portal features are great. Integration to GSuite and social pages. User friendly and implementation is easy and cost effective.

Cons:

The basic recruitment dashboard could be enhanced. Multiple Currency Reporting and Locations should be improved to cater for global recruitment agencies with branches in multiple countries.

Alternatives Considered: Zoho Recruit, Bullhorn ATS & CRM and BambooHR

Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Integrations, Account Managers were knowledgeable and enterprise pricing offering. Other solutions were per user pricing and as a start up we needed flexibility to scale in a cost effective way.

Get your time back!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Great - we have our team using it and everyone is on the same page, great for candidate management and helps to save time!

Pros:

Ad scheduling & being able to post on multiple platforms at once has been a major game changer for us. Being able to get a ton of time back not having to post ad's at random times during the week on all different platforms - can now do it all at once!

Cons:

I am unable to easily see when first looking at the candidate profile which platform they applied to the ad, I need to dig to get the info.

Alternatives Considered: Breezy

Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: Feb 2022

Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: we knew someone that had used it, I had researched about job adder a few year prior and knew the reviews and it was user friendly.

Comments: So far I have really enjoyed using the JobAdder platform and interacting with all staff both support and sales! Great product guys. Love all the updates too!

Pros:

User design an experience is great. easy to input data and then access it!

Cons:

Only issues I have experienced so far is clearing alerts when you have completed those tasks. Even after you check the box next to the specific alerts they don't disappear right away it usually takes some time for it process.

Alternatives Considered: Bullhorn ATS & CRM

JobAdder Business Owner and User Feedback

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Peace of mind that I have all information captured for current and future reference and relative to security and privacy requirements. My IT provider hosts the data in their data center also.

Pros:

The total end-to-end capture of processes and data relative to candidate and client management and associated relationship development and retention.

Cons:

I manually transfer a range of comprehensive documents from Office 365 to JobAdder at the end of a project /process. This may not be a real issue though. I may be able to access a tutorial or technology to automate this.

Excellent recruiting software, easy to use, very functional and lots of customisation available

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I have customised it so I can recruit really efficiently.

Pros:

features easy to use, easy to see candidates in a list OR individual files, can open links always in a new tab, its very very smooth to use and very nice to look at, Makes me motivated to work!

Cons:

some small areas don't talk to other areas, I really need some changes made so the system can be more well rounded. I also have a glitch in my system so you cant amend activity sheets without calling on JA support. In placements, you cant email / SMS both candidate and clients from the placement tabs, this can be annoying as it is not synced up with similar functions.

The Best Recruitment Software

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I use to use Salesforce and Target Recruit and I had to employ a database administrator to help with the backend. Jobadder allows even us non technical people to use it efficiently.

Pros:

Has almost everything you need to run a recruitment agency and it doesn't tie you in to yearly contracts. The support team is amazing.

Cons:

I can't see my team's weekly interviews with candidates and clients.

A Powerful Tool for Applicant Management

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

As a scaling business, JobAdder plugged seamlessly into our existing infrastructure. Easy embed options enabled us to brand our posting on our existing site, while managing the data in their platform using powerful tools like a Natural Language Processor to be able to search through resumes and other applicant data.

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve for our users / administrators of the system to navigate through the various pages/listing/options. However, once folks were sufficiently trained and got the hang of it, they were able to use it more comfortably.

The Software continually freezes and they seem to do nothing about it

1.0 7 years ago

Pros:

It used to work pretty well. You used to be able to call someone if there was an issue. It integrates well with job boards when it is working.

Cons:

The constant freezing which stops us operating as a business. You can't get anyone at the company to call you. Issues never resolved.

Why I use JobAdder CRM

4.0 8 years ago

Pros:

It's ease of use, logical layout and limited clicks to get to the point where you want to be is an attractive feature of this cloud based software. I also like that JobAdder seems to be flexible in working with their customers and have a willingness to work with them to customize the product to a degree. They also did a great job parsing my data into the system, which initially was a concern of mine, however they performed above my expectations.

Cons:

While JobAdder does offer some nice functionalities there are several areas where they have fallen short with their technology. These aren't deal breakers but do bring about some frustration. (system doesn't check for duplicate records before creating a new one; 'contacts' and 'candidates' are two separate profiles which means double data entry; a tickler reminder system for activity doesn't exist however they do offer an 'upcoming tasks' option; you can't edit date stamps (other systems have two time stamps); if there are multiple users under an account there isn't a streamlined process to electronically share profiles; applet fields can not be changed on your own, you have to go through JobAdder support for that (good thing is there isn't a cost for this)

JobAdder, the only option for us!

5.0 8 years ago

Comments: We found JobAdder when we found that we had out grown our previous CRM, and we are thankful that we did. The platform is intuitive and our team hit the ground 'sprinting' with minimal effect to our business. The team at JobAdder are also a perfect fit for us. They are constantly progressing the platform to keep ahead of our needs and the competition. One area we have made significant increases is our digital integration through our website. Traffic is through the roof and candidate registration/data capture is seamless.

Pros:

Everything, and they keep improving on perfection.

Cons:

Nothing.

JobAdder as an ATS

4.5 9 years ago

Pros:

I like the added features like the plugin for social and JA for Gmail. Integration of several third-party services and candidate sources is probably the biggest time saver for any ATS, in my experience that biggest gripe users have on ATS products is that they often act a bit as a walled garden and so much time is spent on data entry which is a huge waste of time for any organization.

Cons:

I think the product can act smarter features and help with decision making based on the data available from the database. The email function could be improved like for example having automatic follow up emails and maybe a dashboard showing any replies our unanswered emails to help recruiters keep track of their process and knowing what actions need to be taken on a daily and weekly basis.

Establishing my business around JobAdder

4.5 9 years ago

Pros:

Jobadder is a progressive, intuitive, and most importantly, evolving Recruitment System. Brett and the team have done a great job, with top customer service, training, and a proven track record of listening to the market.

Cons:

UI is strong, however I can see a time in the next 12-24 months where it may fall behind newer products. This is a huge opportunity for JobAdder to stay in front if they get onto it early. . .
