choose better software
About JobAdder
JobAdder is the recruitment CRM and ATS you'll love to use, with all the power of legacy systems minus the complexity.
The customer support is nice and they try to be helpful with a very poor product.
It is impossible to tell which candidates are on which job. The UI is inconsistent and there are constant updates that make the product so difficult to use.

Brilliant Job Adder !
Comments: Absolutely Outstanding! The team at Head Office was incredibly pro-active and helped me at every step, responded to all queries very quickly.Excellent Sales and Support staff.I have used a number of competitors, JobAdder is the only software program to use for Business Development, Client Management, Labour Hire and Recruitment.
Pros:
Where do you start - Everything including, Candidate Management, Business Development, Finance and Costing, right through to Advertising.
Cons:
The Price - Its going to hurt when I have to buy more licences.
Integration Options
Comments: Great customer service and training. Great candidate tracking.
Pros:
Love a few integrations already available for recruiting. Love the step-by-step training options.
Cons:
Would like more integration options for light industrial staffing. Most partners price for large margin clients and light industrial companies have high volume but low margin. Pricing and cashflow are more critical for our space. JobAdder is currently slight more designed for direct placement services rather than high volume recruiting.
Alternatives Considered: Bullhorn ATS & CRM and TempWorks Software
Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: Ceipal had terrible customer service.
Switched From: CEIPAL ATS
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Relationship with integrated partners, work with us on pricing and response time.

Thanks for the great feedback on our high volume temp solution, Tim. We have some really exciting developments in this space coming this year, so keep an eye out for our product updates. Glad to hear you've had a good experience with us so far.

Shiny when sold, nightmare when used
Comments:
At sales stage Jobadder seemed to tick all the boxes. Seemed one step ahead in terms of integrations and to be providing an overall array of features that fit our needs. Once we got to use it, it has been a terrible, painful experience. We deeply regret choosing Jobadder and despite investing additional $ in the top setup package, we will now be looking to move to a different ATS after only 6 months. We stronbgly suggest you to look carefully into how each feature you care about works, because it will likely work differently than you expect.
In detail, this why we think this has been a terrible choice for us:
1) There is literally no automation. Yes, there are email templates, yes, there are contracts embedded through hello sign etc, but everything must be triggered by a human. Moving candidates, send email etc. Nothing can be automated to a level we would have expected in 2022. Auto rejection email? Nope, move candidates in rejection stage, select all candidates, select action, select email, repeat every day of your life.
2) Jobadder is not the same product in all markets. Some features may or may not be available in the country you choose to put you data on. It's bizarre.
3) We got sold a product that should integrate with Aircall. We must record voice interactions as part of candidate note and this did all we needed. Aircall integration is left right and centre everywhere. Could not get it to integrate correclty. Took 5 months of tickets for support to come back with t
Pros:
Cheaper than others for 2 users or less
Cons:
No Automation Byzantine UI - Poor UX Integrations not available in some servers Aircall integration does not work Slow, time add up when used intensively Poor knowledge base Poor reporting features
Alternatives Considered: PinPoint, Lever, Fountain, Workable and Greenhouse
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: It appeared to have all we needed, but little was working as intended once we purchased.
Job Adder Response
last year
Hi Stefano, We're sorry to hear that your experience has been far from great and we appreciate the time you took to provide us with your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding what was promised and what was delivered, especially around the automation piece and the integration with AirCall. Our team will work with yours to solve these issues for you. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know what's not working, and giving us the opportunity to set it right. The JobAdder Team
You'll struggle to find a better ATS!!
Comments: I've implemented multiple applicant tracking systems. Our process for selecting JobAdder was thorough, b/c we had made some mistakes in previously deploying other products that looked great during the product demo, but after going live realizing the product made you hate your job and the support team made you want to strangle someone. My experience with JobAdder is a 9.0 on 1-10 scale. The truth is, no system is perfect...they all have their flaws. So we are extremely happy with our selection and looking forward to building our company and our processes around the current and future capabilities of their system.
Pros:
it starts with the team and the culture/attitude of service and continuous improvement. Their culture cascades into every aspect of the business, from development, to product, to support, etc. The product is intuitive and easy to use. The support team is highly responsive and they are experts on their system, so little time is wasted by their support rep seeking answers to questions they should already have the answers to. It is very easy to configure. The product team is continually releasing helpful updates/feature enhancements to improve user experience. The integrations they've built bring significant functionality through their marketplace that not only offers enhanced features/capabilities, but saves time...a lot of it!
Cons:
They are working on most of my issues. They have an effective process for processing the user community's feature enhancement requests and adding meaningful requests into the product roadmap. The two things that I'd like to see is: 1) Multi column sorting, and 2) group update of any/every field in a record. There are other things, but the workarounds are acceptable.
Alternatives Considered: Tracker, Bullhorn ATS & CRM, Exelare, CATS, Kortivity, Mindscope, PCRecruiter, Bullhorn for Salesforce and Crelate
Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: If your ATS doesn't help you love your job and make you more efficient, you need to switch. Simply, Compas/Aviante wasn't even coming close to meeting our needs...and the bad reputation and bully tactics of Bullhorn led us away from Sendouts. Simply put, in order to be a great recruiting firm, we needed a technology to serve as our foundation. JobAdder is exactly that for us.
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: product and organizational maturity, service & support, data migration process, features (integrations, capabilities), functionality (UI/UX, ease of use), and product roadmap.
Applicant Tracking System review
Comments: The JobAdder ATS itself is quite user friendly and straightforward and looks clean and seems effective for our day to day applicant and candidate tracking, client management, and record keeping. So that's great. It is just the severe limitations we have with TimeAdder, which is conceptually a simple system and most of our candidates and clients use it with ease, but from a manager/administrator perspective, we can't troubleshoot (ie, reset a password, edit a timesheet, create a timesheet for a contractor, turn email reminders on or off, etc.) and it renders us helpless and JobAdder customer support either can't do anything or is perplexed by whatever the issue is.
Pros:
JobAdder is quite user friendly and easy to navigate. Lots of customizable options for the most part. Easy to add candidates to a job order, tracking applicants, input notes, maintain important information, keep records of placements, etc.
Cons:
What we are struggling with the most is having a little more administrative power to resolve issues. We used the TimeAdder app for example, which doesn't communicate well with JobAdder and is very rigid in its options to customize or turn things on and off. And JobAdder seems to be very sluggish on making improvements. Administrators should be able to be the ones to send reset password emails at any time and not rely on JobAdder to communicate with TimeAdder and "hope and pray" that it goes through. We need to be able to turn on and off reminder emails for clients (who are getting pissed off at us when they suddenly turn back on and hound their inboxes with reminders). Administrators need to be able to create or edit a timesheet from the management interface for a temp who isn't as tech savvy and can't figure it out. I could go on and on. We've had a nightmare with temp placements and timesheets.
Alternatives Considered: JobDiva
Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: The system we used through Bullhorn was painfully slow and clunky and hard to navigate, with far too many steps for each function.
Switched From: Bullhorn ATS & CRM
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: We loved the look and the ease of navigating, and we thought we were going to love TimeAdder, but that part has been a disappointment. TimeAdder looked so easy and simple, which is what we want for our contractors and clients, but when there are issues, we are restricted in what we can manage. Sometimes we have to create our own manual timesheet to go around TimeAdder issues, which is not what we should have to resort to.

Hi Kathryn, thanks for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback. We really appreciate it. Sorry to hear TimeAdder is not quite meeting your needs. We have a number of alternate timesheet integrations within the Marketplace section on the Support Centre that may be worth exploring.
Get your time back!
Comments: Great - we have our team using it and everyone is on the same page, great for candidate management and helps to save time!
Pros:
Ad scheduling & being able to post on multiple platforms at once has been a major game changer for us. Being able to get a ton of time back not having to post ad's at random times during the week on all different platforms - can now do it all at once!
Cons:
I am unable to easily see when first looking at the candidate profile which platform they applied to the ad, I need to dig to get the info.
Alternatives Considered: Breezy
Reasons for Choosing JobAdder: Feb 2022
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: we knew someone that had used it, I had researched about job adder a few year prior and knew the reviews and it was user friendly.

The go-to software for recruiters
Comments: Very good experience, with ease of use. Critical to day to day life recruiting.
Pros:
Everything you need is all in one place with clever integrations that keep on being developed, with new ones being added regularly. Good customer service with limited drop outs.
Cons:
Not that I can easily think of. Strong CRM system.
Alternatives Considered: Bullhorn ATS & CRM
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Better name across the industry and I had been using it prior.

Great system with all requirements
Comments: Really quick customer service and customer success team. Additional support when required.
Pros:
Able to fully customise each screen and add new fields to meet our own requirements.
Cons:
Doesn’t have strong integration with Xero for retained work making it more manual than contingent invoicing .
Alternatives Considered: Recruit CRM and Vincere
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Australian company, strong support, word of mouth recommendations

Great software it has revolutionized how I work!
Comments: Exceptional
Pros:
Support, ease of use, unlimited email templates, gmail for jobadder plugin
Cons:
Can't easily change a job from contract to perm, for example. Cannot make HTML emails
Alternatives Considered: Zoho Recruit, Bullhorn ATS & CRM and Recruiterflow
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Great demo, price, easy to find people who use it for when we grow, excellent support in plain English, and its priced right.

Good tool 9 out or 10 for me
Comments: Can't imagine myself without this tool
Pros:
Cost Tracking Talent pipelining User Interface
Cons:
I wish its PeopleAdder extension worked with google accounts as well as it does with Microsoft. It is a Google thing I reckon.
Alternatives Considered: Lever and Workable
Reasons for Switching to JobAdder: Cost Easy to use Works for my business model
thank you
Comments: love the software - amazing job! i hope i will contiune to use through out my career. i found out my first compnay was ceasing use of JA - it helped me make the dredded decsion to leave the organisation (among many other issues) it was the push i needed to resign. i found out the next (current) company utilised JA and sealed the deal for me :) thank you job adder! love your work
Pros:
absolutey love Job adder and would reccomend to any business , simple and easy to use. clear information. i love the indusrty sections where you can add so much info (optional) about candidates - inductions, skills, ect great tool for talent search
Cons:
at a glance it would be good to see any important notes next to the name that dont flood to other pages when other notes are added. - simple ones impreative to the recruitment process. EG - - "banned from FMG sites"

Regarding your feedback on adding notes to records, we recommend using custom fields to capture key information. Please contact our customer support team to set up custom fields in your account.
Excellent recruiting software, easy to use, very functional and lots of customisation available
Comments: I have customised it so I can recruit really efficiently.
Pros:
features easy to use, easy to see candidates in a list OR individual files, can open links always in a new tab, its very very smooth to use and very nice to look at, Makes me motivated to work!
Cons:
some small areas don't talk to other areas, I really need some changes made so the system can be more well rounded. I also have a glitch in my system so you cant amend activity sheets without calling on JA support. In placements, you cant email / SMS both candidate and clients from the placement tabs, this can be annoying as it is not synced up with similar functions.

The Best Recruitment Software
Comments: I use to use Salesforce and Target Recruit and I had to employ a database administrator to help with the backend. Jobadder allows even us non technical people to use it efficiently.
Pros:
Has almost everything you need to run a recruitment agency and it doesn't tie you in to yearly contracts. The support team is amazing.
Cons:
I can't see my team's weekly interviews with candidates and clients.

Cheers, Tracey. We love that non-technical people are able to jump in and hit the ground running with JobAdder. Delivering immediate ROI to our clients is really important to us.
Easy to Use
Comments: Job Adder was a huge step up from our previous CRM system and has a very inviting user interface. It's easy to use and manage from an admin point of view. The JA team were very helpful throughout the migration process and the support team have been quick to handle queries or issues. There are areas of improvement such as the reporting capabilities, lack of ease for customisation, at times the response time to product enhancement ideas/requests are too long, however the team do take the time to listen and then consider. We have customised training for new starters, which I highly recommend as this is run very well.
Pros:
Easy to use Engaging user interface Fairly priced for what you get Friendly support team and great training manager
Cons:
Lack of customisation - or turn around time to achieve this Long leads times for feedback on feature enhancements At times the system can be slow
JobAdder Review
Comments: My team and I use this software daily to track jobs, applications, candidates etc. Without it we would be using wonky spreadsheets without any integration
Pros:
The desktop (like your dashboard) has two different viewings, both can give you a great glimpse of where your jobs and candidates are at
Cons:
Maybe the cost, but after reviewing various others, JobAdder fell nicely into an affordable space for its features and graphics
Market Leader
Comments: Excellent - streamlines, efficient and easy to use
Pros:
Database management, candidate management, marketing functions - easy to use and effective
Cons:
Can be clunky from time to time When searching the database, can easily click outside of search and lose results

JobAdder has been a great decision!
Comments: Excellent experience overall
Pros:
JobAdder intergration was very easy to use and the help feature is the best I've ever seen.
Cons:
Could be some improvements on the candidate search capacity.

JobAdder is a great tool for Recruitment Teams
Comments: I enjoyed using Job Adder for recruitment, but it did take some time to set up for our companies uses. Customer support was helpful at times, but at other times, they seemed to deny that there was really a problem or take days to solve a problem or answer questions about things like whether our emails were getting through, etc.
Pros:
I liked the way the candidate profiles were organized, being able to pull a list of candidates and view the profiles in a side window and mark them for communication. I liked the organization of the app.
Cons:
I felt that the system of tagging candidates for certain skillsets or degrees, etc was a bit more difficult than the use of tags which I like. I did not like that you couldn't make some changes in a job requisition such as ownership, or job title without losing some information within.
Great product with great support
Pros:
JobAdder is a great cloud based CRM solution for the recruitment industry. It has a really simple and intuitive user interface across desktop and mobile platforms and integrates well with social networks and Outlook. It has all the functionality required to effectively manage the recruitment process, but in a much simpler and pared down way than other solutions. What's great is that as a vendor, the JobAdder team offer awesome support and are constantly developing the product to suit the end users. The reporting tools are excellent also. Overall, a great product and quite simply the best recruitment CRM we've used.
Cons:
Nothing to say here other that if there's something that's not working as it should, the support and development team at JobAdder are great at resolving it.
Efficient and easy
Comments: Love it, no complaints at all.
Pros:
It's very user-friendly and well organised, we very rarely think of a feature that could make it better.
Cons:
That there isn't a quick view of someone's compliance status.
Job Adder Response

We're glad to hear your feedback, Catarina! We have big plans around compliance, which we will notify you about once released.
JobAdder Review
Pros:
Ease of workflow makes the recruiter able on with their job
Cons:
Nothing, if we find an issue it fixed almost straight away / next day
Dynamo Review
Comments: Love the fact that the app is built and configured for mobile devices not just the PC version re-sized or re-hashed. This makes it great for accessing info on the move. As well as being very functional its obvious that some thought and effort has gone into the front end which does make for painless experience.
Pros:
The support team at Jobadder are amazing. They answer the phone in 2 rings and if they dont have an immediate answer will be back in touch very quickly with a solution. Generally tho I dont use their support too much as the product is very intuitive.
Cons:
This app provides a read only version of your database which is perfect for me as that is what I require when out and about. Of course you can log onto the full site to make edits etc.
Great for getting organized
Comments: Overall great if you're looking for your first program and want to get everything under one roof.
Pros:
This software program has all of the basics that you need to get everything under one roof. Great way to get organized and keep you team updated. User-friendly and pretty easy to pick up on. We're a few weeks in, but we're happy we went with this program so far. The client portal is really nice!!
Cons:
Getting everything up and going is a bit of a hassle-- there's lots of tips and great customer service, but you have to figure out what you all need and set it up yourself. The outlook add-in doesn't work if your emails are through Live, and their application form and text system could use a bit more work to be the most user-friendly. But overall a great system.
Jobadder - VMS
Pros:
Basis job add publication and submission, I have subscribed for ATS and VMS. ATS looked good with usable functions and have no complaints.
Cons:
Lacked basic functionality required for any VMS. - Cannot capture candidate email/phone details - Does not support decimals on amount/fee fields - No edit option for the vendor to make any corrections or updates to the submissions - Rates submitted by one vendor/agencies for candidates is visible for all other vendors/agencies - Any updates on the status of the candidate on ATS is not updated back on VMS I am absolutely unhappy with my decision to go with jobadder and I will recommend that you clearly evaluate before you signup.
JobAdder - Great system but still a few bugs
Pros:
The product is simple and easy to use and accessible from any device which is very handy.
Cons:
I have suffered with instability issues with the system often crashing causing frustrations. Saying this, the last time that this happened I was contacted directly by the CEO Brett who took the time to explain what the issues were and what was being done to resolve them which made a big difference to me.
