About NetSuite
Increase efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse with NetSuite WMS.
Netsuite is fairly intuitive for being such a complex system. I also really love the Sandbox capability.
We also had some questionable customer service with our initial rep at one point (in regards to scheduling/cancelling appointments on us).

NetSuite is great for Worker Task Scheduling
Comments: NetSuite was the easiest ERP Software to learn and use.
Pros:
It is highly intuitive, easy to learn how to accomplish your objectives in minimal time.
Cons:
It is expensive, pricing and packaging should be more flexible so as not having to pay for functions you don't require.

NetSuite ERP: Revolutionizing Business Management in Real Time
Comments: At first, I was overwhelmed by NetSuite, but now that I understand all of its functions, it's been fantastic. NetSuite functions as a central hub that links all of a company's moving components and provides users with the information and tools they need to stay ahead of the competition. NetSuite is an extremely strong tool because of its real-time data, automation, and central management capabilities.
Pros:
There are a lot of features in NetSuite that i like, specially its Real-Time Data Access. Everything in NetSuite updates in real time. It can instantly generate reports like profit and loss, balance sheet or cash flow statements. It makes Budgeting and forecasting so much easier with its analytics. It also helps in managing the inventory like monitoring stocks level, recorder points and location in real time. Updates the inventory automatically when new orders are fulfilled, reducing errors. It also allows us to see the interactions with a customer including purchase history, payment status and support.
Cons:
NetSuite is a powerful tool but it might take some training to understand all its features and workflow, specially non-technical users. It is also little expensive compared to other ERP software.
There are better products out there for sure...
Comments: Not a fan, used it for 3 consecutive years on another company and then 2 more for invoicing which was another entirely new way of use from the one I used on the previous company.
Pros:
Other than it's customizable, it really is hard to learn and implement in a team. So I can't speak much of it
Cons:
Once more, the abundance of options and functions overwhelms the user and it's not something to learn in a couple of days. This requires hard training and specifics depending on the needs of the company/team
Overly complicated and not the product for us.
Comments: This was a terrible experience from the get-go. Our CTO adopted NetSuite and it was clearly not the right choice from our business. It started with the lack of training. I think we had 2 training sessions over 6 months for the merchandising team. It slowed down the definition process of our catalog so that what used to take 10 minutes in the previous ERP took 3 hours. With many fields mapped to obscure auto index #s for definitions you had to build a decoder ring to keep them all straight. Basically everything we learned to do in Netsuite came from Google or YouTube. All of the menus were different depending on which role you had so cross-training between departments was impossible because people had to get to the same task via different paths. The filtering on reports was flawed and the Import/export menus kept so much history you had to scroll just to find the latest import/export only to be told it was still processing. The only rapid response you got from the team was when it was time to pony up another 250K for renewal. We probably had 5-6 different account people in charge of our account over the course of the 18 months we had the program. Just a terrible experience for us. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Pros:
Lots of options to create reports and define items.
Cons:
Very Difficult to integrate and overly complicated. It slowed down our overall processes and a lot of the logic did not make sense when defining items. It isn't good when they tell you to use a different program to help with the definition process. It is very expensive as well especially when the training is so poor that all you wind up using it for is glorified accounting.
Remarkable experience with NetSuite for AP, AR and GL automation.
Comments: NetSuite has makes it easy to annotate, export and access detailed information for each financial reports.
Pros:
All operations are processed faster which helps us do much more in less time. NetSuite interface with DocuSign is a game changer. Real-time financial performance reports has done wonders in empowering us to make informed decisions for our business.
Cons:
NetSuite has been one incredible product with no blemishes. Its ease of use has allowed us to be very comfortable using it.
Cloud ERP Solution of this Era
Comments: Accessing a wide range of ERP tools in one place is what I benefit most from NetSuite.
Pros:
I like how NetSuite automates accounts payable processes which reduce errors when paying vendors.
Cons:
Unavailability of a freemium version of NetSuite is the only challenge I got.
Robust ERP solution
Comments: Overall, it has been great. It has so many features and we can customize to meet our needs.
Pros:
Love that it is so customizable for our organization and tailors to our platform. It integrates seamlessly with our other software.
Cons:
There is a bit of a learning curve as it has extensive features.
Great product, efficient and easy.
Comments: I've been using it for some years now, and it is one of the best on the market.
Pros:
The Graphic is good, there are tons of personalizable reports and they are quite easy to use.
Cons:
It is not always the simplest software to navigate, but having the option to automate some processes would make my work smoother and more efficient.
NetSuite is sweet
Comments: Pretty good. Once you get used to the system it gets a lot easier to use
Pros:
It's very thorough, covers everything you need
Cons:
It does seem to take a while to navigate through it and get the hang of it
Great overall ERP
Pros:
The flexibility and ability to customize and use third party applications to meet our business needs.
Cons:
The costs between adding users, hiring a third party to customize, and other software costs needed add up.
NetSuite: Analysis, features for Cost-Efficacy
Comments: NetSuite has been very evidently useful in our analysis business. You are saving your average of forty percent when it comes to risk assessment because of the automated alerts and the new scoring system.
Pros:
Affiliated continuous time integrated credit risk scoring that identifies possible risks right from customers and machines using algorithms based on current financial information and past payment records, respectively. The flexibility of the dynamic financial modeling that allows using scenarios for the risk assessment procedure, including several factors simultaneously in the model.
Cons:
There are few opportunities to modify parameters determining risk evaluation at the level of a concrete client. The templates appropriating financial reporting require further flexibility in computing special risk. It may be possible to organize the multiple client assessments more efficiently by doing them in batches.
Cable East NetSuite Review
Comments: We have had a great experience with NetSuite. Initially, the learning curve was steep, but as we familiarized ourselves with the system and spent time with the LCS pass and the support team learning the intricacies of the platform, we are able to self-direct most new initiatives on the platform and have better visibility into our project profitability and company performance than we have ever had before.
Pros:
NetSuite allowed our business to reevaluate process and streamline existing ones, while serving as a single location to house our financial, banking, and CRM data.
Cons:
Our implementation process was messy, but we got on the right track early and have worked with our ACS optimize team to make the product the best it can be.
Alternatives Considered: Acumatica Cloud ERP
Reasons for Choosing NetSuite: We did not have the requisite visibility into our project accounting, and the reporting was not optimal for our needs.
Switched From: Sage Accounting
Reasons for Switching to NetSuite: The Oracle brand and its associated size and status. We also liked our demo more than the competition.
NetSuite: Easy to Love, Tough to Set Up
Comments: The onboarding was awful. Once we go up and running, the program worked very well, and enabled us to 3x our business during the pandemic. We were upgrading from Quickbooks, and it's no stretch to say that NetSuite was a critical component of our success.
Pros:
Once acclimated to the NetSuite ecosphere, navigating most of the essential functions became fairly intuitive. There is a consistency across the system which makes it easy to learn new functions and reporting.
Cons:
The onboarding process was brutal. I don't know if this was an unfortunate circumstance or if this is S.O.P. for Netsuite, but we rarely had the same contact for more than a month or two. It was incredibly difficult to get answers, and we eventually had to involve consultants to complete our setup.
Corporate Controller
Comments: I love working with NS, I think it's very user friendly, reporting is super flex and the ability to see consolidated reports at all times is incredible. The only things I think require improvement are the fixed assets repots and the billing schedules.
Pros:
1. The option to see the reports on a consolidated level 2. Reporting and the option to customize report is amazing 3. Search line 4. The ability to edit transitions 5. Advanced IC JEs
Cons:
1. Billing schedules are very challenging- for example quarterly billing for 2 years and for 1 year requires 2 different billing schedules, the system can only divide the quantity for non annual billing schedules etc. 2. No as of date vanilla report to track Inventory in transit and accrued expense related to inventory received where an invoice was not received. 3. Fixed assets module reporting- for example if an asset was sold the accumulated depreciation would show on the same column as the depreciation for the period.
Netsuite Review from IGPES ERP Admin
Comments: My overall experience with NetSuite so far has been quite interesting as I feel the need to know more about the application. There are functions on the platform that make a lot of the operational workload easier especially when it comes to reports. The application is dynamic and overall great to use for business operations.
Pros:
1. NetSuite offers a wide range of modules covering financial management, CRM, e-commerce, inventory, and supply chain management. 2. Suitable for businesses of all sizes, from small startups to large enterprises. 3. It is cloud-based. 4. It is customizable and Flexible 5. Provides real-time visibility into business performance with robust reporting and analytics tools. 6. Supports multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-subsidiary operations, making it ideal for global businesses. 7. Regular updates and new features are automatically deployed, ensuring the system stays current with the latest technology and best practices.
Cons:
1. It can be expensive, especially for small businesses or startups, due to subscription fees, customization costs, and user licenses. 2. Requires a learning curve and may necessitate ongoing training and support. 3. Implementation can be time-consuming and complex, requiring careful planning and resources. 4. Occasional slowdowns or downtime may impact business operations
Review on NS from an admin perspective
Comments: Overall experience from 4 + years using NS compared to other experience of ERP systems is positive
Pros:
Customable reporting, easy configurable custom fields and modifying forms for different records
Cons:
From an admin perspective, customizing WF is not user friendly and is limited. Which forces us in some cases to use suite scripts to overcome issues. Creating suite scripts requires development knowledge, i.e. Java script and knowledge of Suite Script configuration. Since this is not accessible to all organization inhouse, this requires using a certified 3rd part vendor which is both time consuming and costly.
NetSuite overall review
Comments: Beet working with NetSuite for around 6 years, I enjoy the ability to adapt it to the business that the company needs
Pros:
The ability to customise the system and it’s scalability
Cons:
Certain functions are not available, even though they seem to be basic(like downloading the list of historic exchange rates)
Net-suite Review
Comments: Overall, our experience with NetSuite has been highly positive. The platform has significantly improved our inventory and order management processes, providing us with real-time visibility into our operations and helping us streamline our workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy. While there was a learning curve during the implementation process, the benefits we have gained from using NetSuite have far outweighed any initial challenges. We are extremely satisfied with the platform and its impact on our business.
Pros:
What I liked most about NetSuite was its comprehensive suite of inventory and order management features, which provided real-time visibility into our inventory levels, streamlined our order processing, and helped us optimize our warehouse operations for greater efficiency and accuracy.
Cons:
What I liked least about NetSuite was its initial complexity and the learning curve associated with setting up and customizing the system to meet our specific business needs. Additionally, the cost of implementation and ongoing maintenance could be prohibitive for some businesses.
Alternatives Considered: Microsoft SQL Server
Reasons for Choosing NetSuite: QBDT was unable to keep up with the growing needs of our business. Net-suite offered greater scalability, allowing our business to grow without outgrowing the software.
Switched From: QuickBooks Enterprise
Reasons for Switching to NetSuite: Because of the following reasons: scalability, advanced features, integrated platform, real-time visibility and its cloud-based solution.

Better than the alternatives, but only slightly
Comments: Overall we've found gains working with Netsuite, but it took about 18months before it was really integrated in our organization and I still question whether some of the gains are worth the drawbacks.
Pros:
Netsuite has helped with financial transparency in our company, tying our inventory in with our accounting better than our previous system.
Cons:
Interface and templates are terribly outdated and difficult to edit / improve. Netsuite is a big investment for our size company but we feel small to them, as customer support has been hard to come by.
Alternatives Considered: Salesforce Sales Cloud
Reasons for Choosing NetSuite: Didn't effectively tie inventory management with accounting.
Switched From: QuickBooks Online

Great ERP!
Comments: We are quite happy with our NetSuite Environment.
Pros:
Ease of Initial Implementation. Easy to customize for additional functionalities, 100's of Suite Apps available to implement additional functionalities needed. Great support resources available. Ease of use for business users.
Cons:
More ability to control what business users can do in terms or reporting.
Fast, simple accounting software. Always one step ahead.
Comments: Secure, and simple solution I highly recommend.
Pros:
Seamless app integrations for efficient accounting. Quite comprehensive and practical. User-friendly and easy to customize.
Cons:
I don't like the lack of file organizer. It sometimes looks messy to difficult to navigate.
Very comprehensive accounting functionality and a pretty rounded ERP.
Comments: In general I love Netsuite and how flexible it is for addressing the needs of the vast majority of customers.
Pros:
How easy it is to customize without need for expensive resources and the vast majority of the accounting functionality works out of the box.
Cons:
Whilst it’s good to see new functionality delivered with every release, more effort should be made to address existing enhancement requests, some of which have been open for more than a decade.
Alternatives Considered: SAP Business One
Reasons for Choosing NetSuite: For multiple subsidiary and currency functionality

NetSuite: A Game-Changer for Our Business Success
Comments: NetSuite has been essential to our business. It has streamlined our operations, making us faster and leaner while giving us a technological edge over our competitors. The seamless access and company-wide visibility it offers are truly irreplaceable. Overall, I believe NetSuite has been a key factor in our continued success.
Pros:
NetSuite is a fantastic program that stands out for its flexibility and versatility. It allows you to manage your entire company seamlessly through an easy-to-use platform. The access and control it provides over various business functions make it an invaluable tool for streamlining operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Whether you're handling finances, inventory, or customer relationships, NetSuite makes it all manageable from one central hub.
Cons:
One challenge with NetSuite is the overall initial costs, particularly when you don’t fully grasp the value it brings right away. Additionally, its immense versatility can sometimes be overwhelming, almost like falling into a rabbit hole with countless features and options. To get the most out of it, it's crucial to have strong upfront control and a well-thought-out plan for implementation. Without that, it’s easy to get lost in all the possibilities.

I miss my QuickBooks Enterprise software.
Comments: I'm a CPA and CFO with over 40 years of experience. I've used many different software products throughout my career, and have led several different software conversions. This has definitely been the worst experience in my career. The English of the whole implementation team was horrible. It was extremely difficult to understand them, and their written communication wasn't much better. The fact that they were located on the other side of the globe also made them relatively inaccessible. Since this was a financial accounting system setup, the biggest insult of all was the fact that no one on the NetSuite team knew anything about American accounting processes. As a result, they were totally worthless when it came to providing any insight into how to setup NetSuite for it to work smoothly for an American service company. This was by far, the WORST software implementation process I have ever gone through.
Pros:
We're a group of American companies with common ownership, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and a few hundred employees. We thought this would be the best long-term option for connecting our third-party software needs, and coordinating our multiple companies efficiently. In hind-sight, I think NetSuite is better suited to a multi-national company much larger than us.
Cons:
Communication was extremely poor. What is sold vs what is provided is very different. They compartmentalize everything so much, that they bleed you dry for money.

very powerful tool but performance can be an issue with ever growing data inside.
Comments: Good tool, also the different kinds of access you can grant to users so they can't reach something they are not allowed to is great.
Pros:
The high level of customization possibilities to fit our need. We handle all our stock movement, order processing, billing through Netsuite.
Cons:
Having a lot of customers, historical data, products in our instance we run into performance problems for certain tasks. some reports take quite a long time to process as they go through the entire history in our Netsuite DB.
