Lodgify - because life's too short
Comments: Great experience. Very quick and helpful support.
Pros:
Very easy to setup and get started. Compared to hosting your own website and administering the software. Lodgify is a great time and effort saver. I really don't know how I managed before!
Cons:
Reports are very limited. The price for the premium version is too high

Comments: For now I am satisfied. Being able to manage my direct bookings independently has helped me save time and money.
Pros:
I started using Lodgify recently. In every moment of uncertainty and difficulty they helped and supported me. Always present and available for any eventuality. I know that if I need help I can count on their assistance.

Pros:
The visual interface of Lodgify is very easy to view and therefore navigate around, we are still early days in transitioning to this platform. The onboarding process with [sensitive content hidden] was very good, she was excellent.
Cons:
Since fully onboarding I can see it does have several limitations, there is no invoicing system which is highly inconvenient, unable to edit the order of the listings making it confusing for us to manage our site and bookings, the sync process distorted all the images, it would be good to be able to catergorise images of the general property and facilities and individual rentals so we dont have to have repeition in the listings that show on the website .

Comments: Every call has been great. My short term rentals are brand new and will be available to start renting in January 2025. I'm excited I was able to get everything set up and I'll be able to click Publish and I'll be in business!

Poor customer support and a lot of bugs

Cons:
Onboarding is a waste of time. Synchronization problems. No Ukrainian language but Russian. You cannot see a clients photos when they send it to you and more

Freedom & Functionality
Comments: Relatively new to the platform after nearly 20 years in the STR business, I am happy to be less dependent upon Airbnb and VRBO. Having my own website and being able to accept direct bookings has been a game-changer.

Lodgify is responsible platform

I have amazing experience especially with your support. Because I am from Czech, and I do not speak english so well, our communication is just about writing..I appreciate immensely writing to a living person!!!!!!! What I really hate on similar platforms is, when is big problem I have to deal with it immediately, on other platforms robots talk to me, throw me information to read, and by the time I get to a live human, I get "burned".
When it happened initially with you that I set something up wrong, and I had to fix it IMMEDIATELY, your support helps me IMMEDIATELY, even though it may have been something I could have retrieved in the end. This is what makes Lodgify resposible platfortm. Mistakes happen. We have small bussines and we comunicate with many people, so every mistake is problem. With Lodgify I have no fear, that everything will be okay.
Pros:
All the system of Lodgify is clear, logical, quick to operate. Everything is logically placed where it should be (and this is important, it saves time and nerves). I have tried lots of platform, and must see that I have never been so happy with system as is Lodgify. Second thing i like most is the support.
Cons:
Connecting with Airbnb was a bit stressful for me, but I understand that it must be this hard. Otherwise, the way you guided me through this challenging journey was the best solution :)

Reasons for Switching to Lodgify: well, we needed something that we can have on our website as reservation system, and also something that will help us to manage all bookings from all platforms as is Booking, Airbnb and some else from our country. Nothing nothing suited me so completely.

I appreciate that Lodgify’s channel manager allows me to see the vacation rentals and reservations from multiple sources such as booking.com, expedia, and airbnb.
Cons:
Sometimes Lodgify is difficult to work with. Recently, I was locked out of my Lodgify account for 3+ days and they were full of anxiety because I wasnt able to collect payments etc.

Onboarding easy but once live we realised it did not do what it needed to do for our business so basically we have paid for a year for something we can't use.

However, during the final session, a critical issue arose - Lodgify was unable to generate invoices with our ABN, a requirement for Australian businesses like ours. This revelation in the final onboarding meeting was a deal-breaker. Lodgify's inability to meet our invoicing needs rendered the platform unsuitable for our operations. Despite the fact that it took longer than 14 days to set up the account, Lodgify adamantly refused to provide any refund for the upfront payment we made for a full year of service. For Australian businesses looking for a comprehensive solution, Lodgify's insistence on using a third-party app for invoicing undermines the concept of a one-stop shop. Our experience with Lodgify has been a costly mistake, with over $2000 wasted. We caution other Australian businesses to steer clear of this software to avoid similar frustrations. In conclusion, Lodgify's failure to address basic invoicing requirements for Australian businesses makes it an impractical choice for those seeking a seamless and integrated solution

I can see my calendar and all my bookings in one place. The PM module shows how my rentals are doing.

Property Management Software (a first)
Comments: My experience has been in the middle a 3 or a 4. I don't feel completely lost, but I don't feel completely confident yet. I think it is a building experience and you have to trust the process. It was really frustrating at first, but the onboarding helped a lot.
Pros:
I like that everything is now on one calendar. It was good to have an onboarding specialist because the VRBO and Stripe issues to get it set up. Airbnb was great because all I had to do was put my listings in Lodgify. It was overwhelming at first, but now I have a better handle on it.
Cons:
I am finding that I am getting started on building the website. I don't know exactly what to do with it, but trying to figure it out. I may have to reach out to someone to help me put it together and get it up and going. It would be nice if there was onboarding for that part, but I just need to sit down and do it.

Comments: Overall experience is great and we look forward to adding a third account
Pros:
Lodgify seems to have met all the requirements for our hospitality business. We have been utilizing this software for more than 5 years and have run into very few issues.
Cons:
PM modules seem to be a bit overpriced and the guides/guest app function of it is nearly worthless. The other complaint would be no in-PMS functionality for door code generation like other PMS's have built into their software.

Control Vacation Rentals Across Multiple Channels with Lodgify
Comments: On-boarding was made easy by their great customer service people. The software is intuitive and easy to use.
Pros:
Lodgify allowed us to set up our own website where guests can book our vacation rental easily. It also allowed us to expand the channels that we are listed on and gave us a central location where we can manage pricing and communicate with guests from all those channels.
Cons:
Our only negative is that Lodgify does not integrate with (RMS) the reservation system that our rental management company uses.

Comments: Everything about the experience was excellent, including the onboarding conversations with experts and the excellent customer service! Although I haven't worked on Lodgify for very long, I am certain that having all of our listings on one platform will be worthwhile.
Pros:
I enjoy using the reservation system, channel manager, and website builder. I also enjoy that I can use automated messages to engage with guests and accept money based on a percentage that I choose.
Cons:
VRBO is lacking a component. Prior to making a reservation, guests must still communicate using the VRBO app. Another would favour other,, more economical ways to pay clients. Compared to other booking sites, 6 1/2% is greater.

Wish they would help when you call.in instead of give answers that do not work
Comments: Great if you have a few properties that all function the same. Poor if there are any variances.
Pros:
One place to look. Worked well until we added additional properties and could not get them to fix it or get a call back from someone that could help.
Cons:
Handling of issues and problems. Not being able to speak woth someone that could resolve issues as well.

Review of Account Manager process

I like the support I received from the account management team who booked monthly meetings to go over any issues I may be having as a new user and think that this option could be available for longer.

Cons:
Took a few days for VRBO to sync so still didnt trust the linked calendars at the start but all good after initial set up. The derived rates and mark up % are a bit confusing to use.
