MATLAB.....OR YOU CAN CALL IT "MATH-LAB"

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: On an engineering scale i appreciate matlab and find it as one of the best tools and specially its graphical features which is very important for comparisons. It helped me a lot of times to find the most optimal solution or method for a particular situation

Pros:

Best thing about MATLAB is its versatility and wide range of capabilities. I am an Engineer and i appreciate its importance but similarly other fields also like scientists or students also appreciate it. MATLAB's extensive library of built-in functions, toolboxes, and specialized packages makes it so easy to use and so useful. The integration of matlab with other software tools and devices helps an organization to design products with its help.

Cons:

Matlab license fees is annual and might be costly for small organization but apart from that it may impose restrictions on the usage and distribution of MATLAB code and applications. Also there might be difficulty in integrating matlab with some softwares in a non matlab environment

MATLAB review

5.0 4 months ago

Pros:

I'm an optical engineers and MATLAB is great for my job due to its robust simulation and analysis capabilities, including tools like the Optics Toolbox for modeling complex optical systems. It integrates easily with Zemax for data analysis and optimization. Additionally, MATLAB's versatility allows for custom automation of repetitive tasks, saving time during design and testing.

Cons:

MATLAB can be costly for individual use, especially with the toolboxes required for specialized optical tasks. Its performance may not be ideal for large-scale simulations compared to more optimized languages like C++.

Data cleaning with Matlab

4.0 11 months ago

Comments: I have been using it since school and I feel very comfortable with it, even in the work field it is useful at times.

Pros:

The best thing is its ease of use, added to the fact that there is a lot of information behind it that helps to complement its management, it turns out to be a very useful application.

Cons:

The main disadvantage is that its code is not portable to other programming languages, which limits its integration and expansion of its use to only display data.

MATLAB Mobile app good app i like it realy i like you your app

5.0 last year

Comments: It's good for practicing in moblie. So far the responses from command are very good, since till now I'm basic learner of MATLAB, as time goes I hope to explore the other functions that I didn't use in this app. Recommend to those who are learning MATLAB Language.

Pros:

Perfect! Fully functional lightweight app with simple interface. Even some complex scripts that were written on a PC, work excellent on a mobile.

Cons:

Hi, good day! Can you associate .m or related MATLAB files in Files to this app? I can't open those files, and MATLAB isn't in the suggestion to open with. Other than, great app!

Powerful and Multifaceted Data Analytics Toolkit

5.0 last year

Comments: MatLab offers extensive and advanced numerical analysis tools whose workability blows my mind. Despite using it for learning purposes, I can real get a wide view of how to dissect data to solve the problems of our globe. Not necessarily in the business line but in most aspects of the world data applies

Pros:

Matlab is a one of a kind tool that fit all sort of numerical computation roles. I have used it for learning purposes across all my units of my Actuarial Science Course which is a wide umbrella covering statistics, risk calculations and financial field where Matlab's use happens to be soo critical. Over the years I appreciate it's extensive features, high level language and it's interactive environment that help me navigate through with different programming languages. It comes harbored with lots of mathematical functions and operators that allow me to perform even the most complex mathematical computation. Analytics of time series data is quite doable with Matlab. With it's analytics that include statistical elements, plotting and grouping functions which makes visualization soo enjoyable. Prediction and forecasting of risks and occurrences that are likely to occur in the future through creating models that are based on the data at hand is definitely a plus for me

Cons:

To be honest MatLab had been a real gem to me. I love the fact that it support different languages that Iam quite conversant with making data analysis soo easy for me. I would therefore recommend for students and for solving real world problems

Powerful Tool for Data Analysis and Presentation

5.0 last year

Comments: MATLAB helps us with data analysis, visualization, modeling, and reporting. Although we don't use it daily, it is a valuable tool we need to meet our data analysis needs. However, it has a long learning curve, especially for someone without technical and data analysis knowledge. The cost is high but it is worth it based on its features.

Pros:

MATLAB can manage large datasets efficiently and derive logical reports from the data. It allows us to perform complex statistical analysis and present the data logically to help in decision-making. It can perform calculations with a few clicks on the mouse. Besides, it is great for statistical and financial modelling or forecasting. It is compatible with Microsoft Excell, making it easy to import data.

Cons:

The cost is relatively high. New users often experience challenges before they get the hang of it. I'd say it is not something you can use without prior training since mistakes during data analysis will obviously lead to wrong conclusions. It seems to take too much storage space or computer resources, making the computer slow.

Numerical computations for engineering analysis becomes very easy for me when I use MATLAB

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: MATLAB is a valuable tool for mechanical engineers like me. Its powerful numerical computing capabilities, simulation tools, and data analysis features make it well-suited for a wide range of mechanical engineering tasks. MATLAB provides a convenient environment to develop algorithms, analyze systems, and visualize results.

Pros:

MATLAB provides extensive libraries and functions for numerical computations, linear algebra, optimization, and solving complex equations. It allows engineers to perform calculations efficiently and accurately. It offers a wide range of tools and toolboxes for simulation and modeling. Mechanical engineers can create mathematical models, simulate and analyze mechanical systems, and evaluate their behavior under various conditions. It also provides excellent tools for data analysis, processing, and visualization. Engineers can manipulate large data sets, perform statistical analysis, and create meaningful visualizations to interpret and present their findings effectively.

Cons:

MATLAB is a commercial software, and obtaining a license can be costly, especially for individual users or small engineering teams. However, academic versions and trial licenses are available for educational purposes. While it is highly capable for many tasks, it may not offer the same performance as lower-level languages like C or Fortran.

Machine learning (Supervised learning) on MATLAB

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: My experience with MATLAB was best. I first learned how to code in MATLAB, it was easy to install and run on my computer. I developed long scripts on my machine learning project and it would still execute within a short space of time.

Pros:

I liked MATLAB because it was so easy for me as a beginner to learn how to code in MATLAB. The execution of the if statements, functions development and calling them to display output. Additionally, it really helped me that when the code has an error, there is a reference line to that error. With regards to machine learning, it was the best. I learned how to import data and process it before developing my model that predicts letter signs and classifies them into a category. Also, I had the opportunity to test the performance of the model when classifying the letters to determine its accuracy.

Cons:

MATLAB consumes too much computer external space especially when installing the required machine learning toolbox.

A powerful analysis and simulation tool.

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: MATLAB is highly versatile and can be used in a wide variety of applications, from research and development to production and automation. MATLAB is capable of handling large data sets and performing complex numerical and statistical analyses, making it an essential tool for any company that needs to process large amounts of information. Additionally, the ability to simulate complex systems in MATLAB is a great advantage for any company that needs to test designs before taking them to production.

Pros:

As an automation engineer, I have been using MATLAB in my company for several years and can say that it is a powerful tool for analysis and simulation. One of the things I like best about MATLAB is its ease of use. The graphical user interface is intuitive and easy to learn, making the learning curve quite fast. Also, the syntax of the programming language is simple and clear, making it easy to write code.

Cons:

One of the disadvantages of MATLAB is its cost. MATLAB is commercial software, and licenses can be expensive, especially for smaller companies. However, I think the price is worth it considering the benefits it offers.
