Software and hardware upgrades.

Comments: We replaced most of our research and development equipment 1 year ago, because we need to be constantly updated to be a successful company.
SAP Ariba was the tool we chose to manage the renovation projects to equip the labs in our departments with computers, graphics cards, and virtual reality equipment, helping us to identify suppliers and hardware manufacturers, request quotes, and evaluate the best options according to the standards set by our experts.
It is a well-structured platform with features that facilitate the entire purchasing process.

Pros:

The interface is well designed and although it can be a bit complex and intimidating at first, it is a nice tool that allows for orderly and agile work. It helped us to manage all the necessary renovations to get up to date with the technology, allowing us to search for suppliers to compare specifications and prices. It helped us to ask for quotes and then choose based on concrete data. It allowed us to purchase software and negotiate licenses for our technicians and engineers.

Cons:

Implementation and maintenance costs are high, in addition to customization and configuration costs.

SAP Ariba very user friendly

Comments: Overall, it has been great to streamline procurement processes and improve supplier management, making it a valuable tool for our enterprise.

Pros:

The user face is more intuitive and easier to navigate than the predecessor R/3. This made for a quick adoption and seamless transition for employees.

Cons:

For a company our size, integrating SAP Ariba with our existing ERP systems required significant IT resources.

Comments: Honestly i would give it like a 2 on a 1 to 10 scale... i really do not recommend

Pros:

There wasnt really a whole lot of good things to say about sap, but it did have one function that was nice it gave you the option to edit your timesheets

Cons:

It was crashing all the time, kicking us out an not letting us back in. Always said our login creds were wrong etc.

best finance e-invoicing tool for fast process

Comments: SAP Ariba is one of the best tools in the SAP ecosystem. We can raise invoices in just a few minutes; we dont have to make long manual calculations, collect the physical invoices, or have to go to different departments for signings, approvals and stamps; we just have to raise invoice, it will be directly transfered ot to the concerned person, the person will approve the invoice, then will go to the next department as per the company defined flow and at last to the finance team which will approve and relase the payment, it reduced aoverall manual efforts of invoicg, you don't have to create physical files for keeping invoices, maintaining big records, all done easily in one go

Pros:

one of the best tools of already using any tool from SAP in your organization; it's mainly used for e-invoicing, payment approval, and processing. You dont have to raise physical invoices; just raise the invoice in ariba, it will go to the assigned person. After approval, go to the finance team, and then the payments will be released.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike; the finest tool for e-invoicing

SAP Ariba works

Comments: Access to clients in SAP Ariba is great, having everything in one platform is a huge win as well.

Pros:

Everything is in one place and not spread across multiple platforms.

Cons:

The functionality is not where it should be. As a new user it is hard to navigate and understand what to do.

Secure Platform But Clunky and Disappointing

Comments: It's clunky and slow but large corporations use it for billing so it's a must have, the fees are disappointing.

Pros:

Connects buyers and sellers in a secure environment

Cons:

Fees, clunky interface, slow to update, duplication of accounts

Preferred by road warriors for reporting expenses

Comments: Ariba has been my favored method of reporting work related expenses. Accounts Payable was able to easily verify expenses and reimburse employees very quickly.

Pros:

It was super easy to enter travel expenses and get reimbursed very quickly.

Cons:

As it is with any SAP product, it really depends on how well Ariba gets deployed at your organization due to the extensive customization and automation options. But after we deployed it effectively, Ariba became effortless to use.

Comments: It was okay. I think there is need for more clearer platform

Pros:

I like that you can see who needs to approve/check or modify an order before finalizing the Purchase Order.

Cons:

I didn't like that some functions or buttons are hard to find

A Practical Tool for RFPs, Though Not the Most Modern Option

Comments: My experience with SAP Ariba was positive. While it’s not the most modern or versatile tool, it gets the job done effectively for procurement and RFP management. It's user-friendly enough for most professionals to navigate without major issues.

Pros:

SAP Ariba helped me participate effectively in RFP processes. Its functionalities are practical and straightforward, making it accessible with some common sense.

Cons:

The interface feels a bit outdated compared to more modern platforms. Additionally, there are more versatile alternatives available in the market.

Simplified Vendor Management

Comments: It is a robust tool for businesses aiming to optimize procurement workflows.

Pros:

Tracking supplier contracts and payments became transparent, helping us negotiate better deals with vendors.

Cons:

The interface felt outdated in some sections, but the overall functionality is excellent.

The Ideal Business Expenses Management Software

Pros:

With SAP Ariba, handling and managing business experiences is easy What makes it even better is the ease of integration with other SAP products.

Cons:

Well, SAP Ariba has been working well. No complaints.

SAP Ariba Is a Proper Billing and Invoicing Solution

Pros:

This billing and invoicing tool is easy to use. SAP Ariba has great capabilities.

Cons:

SAP Ariba is so powerful to use. No issues with SAP Ariba.

SAP Ariba- the best Procurement automation tool you can have

Comments: Overall, its a great tool to solve all our 3rd party vendor communications. Though it may have a few downsides but still better in the industry.

Pros:

a. Effective lifecycle design for all procurements needs b. The comprehensive capability of encompassing every activity involved in procurement from pre-PO to vendor selection c. Excellent integration with inhouse tools for quick payment processing d. Safe and secure authorization/single sign-in methodology

Cons:

Very slow operations and the UI/UX is difficult to understand, need to put a lot of time to learn, feels outdated. There a bit issues in adding many 3rd party contractors. The capacity needs to be increased.

My Experience With SAP Ariba

Pros:

With this tool, procurement management as well as vendor management is straightforward.

Cons:

No issues so far. SAP Ariba has been amazing.

Comments: Easy to use as compared to SAP previousVersions.

Pros:

This ERP system does offer GUI. The systemis easy to use as compared to SAP previous versions.

Cons:

There is a limit of 100 MB for each file that can be uploaded. If the file size is more then 100MB then this system will not accept it.

Its okay but Clunky

Comments: Its okay and better than an inhouse solution.

Pros:

It keeps everything organized very well.

Cons:

It is a little bit clunky in terms of the desktop web based version. I dont want to log in - I should be able to just add comments via email reply vs having to login each time.

Comments: Excellent

Pros:

Provides cloud-based procurement and learners would need a basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management

nothing, overall i like everything about SAP ARIBA

SAP Ariba is the NOT user-friendly and archaic in complexity

Comments: Very very poor! Clearly the Gartner and other ratings are dishonest and solicited by bribes

Pros:

Process automation but its clumsiness is disconcerting and makes it a grudge-tool to use

The archaic workflows and nonsensical messaging and statuses drives the users insane!

Software review

Comments: Overall good experience, software could use an upgrade

Pros:

Simple interface and great third party for work related items

It's a bit confusing, there are sometimes many options

Stay away

Comments: worst system ever. System is broken. It is breaking people in my organisation.

Pros:

nothing - everything in the system that I've used is broken. I've had a different problem with every PO I've created.

Cons:

This is the worst software system I've ever encountered and I worked in government for 15 years. It is constantly crashing, the team buying function doesn't work, the system can't cope with changes to POs after they have initially been created. E.g. I want to break 1 payment into multiple at a later date - the system can't deal with this and now I'm left with cranky vendors who can't get their invoice paid. I manage over 30 contracts which are all multi-year. I can't get my colleagues access such that if I'm on leave they can't pay invoices for me. Some POs I've created never got sent to the vendor, even though other POs have gone. There are so many bugs in this system. Stay away from it if you are a large, complex organisation.

Pros:

Supplier Collaboration helps a lot to improve the productivity

Cons:

interface design , cant see other points to add

Ariba is a nightmare for small business suppliers

Comments: Terrible! I’ve spent many hours on tutorials and setting up my profile for one customer. I would have rather done work for another customer and spent my time more wisely.

Pros:

There is no pro for a small business supplier. It is just a time waster.

Cons:

For a small business owner, run a mile from a customer that requests you to use Ariba. You will spend many, many hours of your time trying to figure this system out, only to land up not being paid with the excise that the PO numbers are somewhere in the system!

Ariba's Pro's and Con's

Comments: With the help of Ariba we are able to manage the internal and external payments and are able to easily interact with the client in financially terms

Pros:

its accessibility and the flexibility that even the client and vendor can use the same platform to interact financially Due to which the cost is reduced / lower risk and easily the work is done.

Cons:

First timer user needs to have a good walkthrough and step by step guide to raise PR /PO and then approving invoices.There is no free trial for the tool availableAll information on invoice has to be 100% accurate else the invoice dosen't move forward for payment
