Easy to use, All the features you need
Comments: Used them to great effect for several events, easy to use and integrate on Facebook, and the fees were relatively low considering the features they provide. Definitely would recommend to others
Pros:
Eventbrite is a great platform if you have an event (or events) you are selling tickets to online. - Easy to integrate into Facebook Events so your followers & FB friends can purchase tix right from the events page. - If you have a scanner, you can scan tickets and register guests as they arrive so you know who has entered already, and who has not yet scanned their ticket at will call- Pricing is not too expensive in comparison to many other ticketing sites
Cons:
I think Eventbrite could reduce their fee structure a bit. As they are not involved in the event itself, taking a portion of each attendee ticket sale (3.5% fee) in addition to their $0.99 Service fee seems a bit excessive. I realize this is likely the structure that has allowed them to grow to such a large business in the events space, but I think this model may be a bit much as event organizers also have to pay the $9.99 monthly fee to be an Eventbrite member. However, in the grand scheme of things - the convenience of the Eventbrite service is worth the fees so far. Really no other major gripes with the service
Ideal tool for events
Comments: Easy to use tool. The whole process from start to finish was seemless
Pros:
The simplicity and easy of use makes Eventbrite a top choice.
Cons:
None for now. I have used it twice and not had any issue with the application.
It's easy to see why Eventbrite is the top platform for creating and sharing events
Comments: So far it's been a helpful service for setting up virtual events. I'm looking forward to learning more about all the features I can use to my advantage as I become more familiar with it.
Pros:
I really like that Eventbrite has an extensive tutorial and help section where you can find the answers to most questions when you're just starting out. For a first-time user creating free events for my audience, it's been easy to navigate the process step by step.
Cons:
It was a bit difficult to set up a recurring virtual event with different dates and times, but I was also learning the entire process and had a complicated scenario to start off with.

Small Nonprofit Review of Eventbrite
Comments: This is a great tool, especially for smaller nonprofits or groups looking to promote and sell tickets (even free ones). I like the pay-as-you go options that don't lock you into a yearly/monthly commitment. I appreciated that there is still a free option for smaller events.
Pros:
The platform's visual designer is very easy to use and provides helpful tools to customize the event page to be on brand and be appealing. I appreciated the built-in tools and ease of use for sharing the event, promoting the event, and managing things like attendees, tickets, and more. Overall, it is a very intuitive and easy to use platform.
Cons:
The attendee report feature leaves some key functions missing that allow the admins to easily hone in on attendee details for follow up, especially for nonprofits who want to manage donations, etc.
Eventbrite For class classes
Comments: I really enjoyed it. It was easy to set my class up. Get paid on time.
Pros:
Easy to use easy to set up your class and easy for clients to check out and receive your money
Cons:
Searchability it needs better Seo. Could use more
Easy to submit information! Organized!
Comments: I have been using Eventbrite for local events for a few years now. It hasn’t taken me long to become familiar with the process and it’s simple to navigate. The organization is impeccable and I like the helpful tool of Eventbrite remembering your information for future events.
Pros:
I enjoy how organized it is, making it simple to plug in personal information. The process is quick and can be done in a timely manner (around 3 minutes or less). I also like how verification e-mails are sent and the event can be easily entered into a mobile calendar.
Cons:
The e-mails about other events can be a bit excessive. The program may also be difficult for those who are not tech-savvy and may need assistance.
The future so Eventbrite, I gotta wear shades.
Comments: Eventbrite is great and has gotten better over time. It is a valuable tool to add to your event organization toolbox.
Pros:
Eventbrite is great even for free accounts. It does SEO so well and appears on Google easily. It also allows for a great level of customization.
Cons:
I would like it to integrate more with third party registration software. We aren't selling tickets, but would love to direct people to our registration platform.
Perfect way to sell tickets!
Comments: A nice easy to adopt platform for running event ticket sales. It gets the job done.
Pros:
Pretty easy to learn, and its great that its so well known in the public so the interface is familiar to most audiences.
Cons:
Not much to complain about. It's not amazingly robust but it does what is most needed.
Experience
Comments: It's been pretty good and I use it very often
Pros:
Easy accessibility and convenient to use.
Cons:
Wish it had more events than it already has like concerts, etc.
Easy to use, light and practical
Comments: Good, easy to use, light and practical app.
Pros:
Easy to use, connected to many event organisers.
Cons:
I would say the graphic, but overall nothing in particular.
Alternatives Considered:
Malfunctioning. Wouldn't recommend as a biz owner.
Comments:
As a customer I have had a fine experience.
As a business owner using it. . . . it is not intuitive. Prices/requirements unclear, didn't end up functioning at all for me. Made several attempts
Pros:
I do like that there are all these events going on out there in the world and you can discover them through eventbrite.
Cons:
ease of use is very bad. I had used it in the past and it worked but I had to market eventbrite just like if I had my event anywhere else. It is not helping to market me. So that defeats the purpose for me. Additionally, when I recently tried to use it in 2023 I could not get my events to post, to have all the correct information. It was not intuitive and easy to understand if I needed to pay something to house my event etc. I spent a couple hours on it. Tried several things to no avail.

The Go-To Platform for Online and In-Person Events
Comments: I have used it for years both personally and professionally and it is my go-to.
Pros:
It is super easy to post an event on this site. When I have an event I need to promote, this is the first place I go. I have used it to post free events and paid events including in-person and online. The user experience for the attendee is also great.
Cons:
The process for payments and issuing tickets is not the best. It was a bit confusing to me to figure out how to give refunds and to get the payout for my event. Another con is that everyone uses it so you need to be very careful with SEO when posting to stand out.
Event-Briter than ever!
Comments: Using Eventbrite for Comic and Toy cons in Ontario has been great! It’s easy to set up events, manage ticket sales, and promote to fans. However, fees can add up, which can be a downside.
Pros:
Eventbrite excels with its user-friendly interface, customizable event pages, various ticketing options, built-in promotion tools, detailed analytics, mobile accessibility, and strong community focus.
Cons:
Eventbrite can have high fees for paid events, which may deter some organizers. Additionally, the platform's customer support can be slow at times, potentially causing frustration during urgent issues.
Easy to Use, Always Spot On With Fun Events
Comments: I’ve utilized eventbrite for a few years now. It makes finding local events that interest me very easy. Whenever I need something to do on the weekend with family or friends, I know I can rely on eventbrite to provide me with good suggestions. It’s easy to navigate, filter, and share event information.
Pros:
I appreciate the ease of use within the app. I can very quickly find local events that spark my interest and next steps for reserving my spot. The filtering capabilities are very useful to narrow down the best, most relevant results to me.
Cons:
I can’t say that there’s anything I don’t like about the app. I’ve been using it for years and am able to quickly find what I’m looking for.
Excellent resource for great events!
Comments: I had some weekend where i would struggle because I wanted to do something fun and well, eventbrite its always my first source to find something fun to do. It has a lot of events and I bought a lot of tickets to different events here. Love it!
Pros:
Always up to date with events around my area, Its a great source if you do not know what to do next weekend for example, always a lot of fun options and its really trustable app.
Cons:
Maybe the aesthetic, but its really a good resource.
Eventbrite completely provided a ticket sales solution for our youth conference
Comments: Overall Eventbrite made ticket sales for our conference a breeze. The site is pretty intuitive and, as I mentioned, the payouts are super prompt and detailed.
Pros:
Eventbrite is easy to set up for an event. We set up a conference with over 300 attendees with multiple discount codes. Payments are super easy and paid out quickly. The analytics are really helpful. We also used Eventbrite for our 50 volunteer positions. Since it was for volunteers we were able to use the Eventbrite app free of charge and easily set up extra options such as shirt sizes and preference of days/areas to serve.
Cons:
Our greatest issue with our volunteer sign up is that it constantly got "sold out" with applications from India and Africa asking for letters of invitation to Canada for our event. I asked Eventbrite if I could limit the volunteer sign-up to our province, or even only Canada, but they have no way to do that. As such, I had to go into the app daily to delete ineligible volunteers.
My Go to Spot for Finding Local Events!
Comments: I love using Eventbrite because it allows me to find local events in any and every city whether I’m at home or travelling. I love the ease of being able to find local events and following some of my favorite event producers and promoters! Eventbrite allows me to plan accordingly and keeps me informed when some of my favorite events or experiences are happening!!
Pros:
The ease of being able to find local events and register and buy tickets to local events!! Booking and finding was a breeze!
Cons:
The inability to find out how many tickets are left available for an event. Also, sometimes it would be helpful to see how many people are planning to attend an event. Eventbrite also doesn’t show previous attendees’ experience.
I like EventBrite for something you CAN use for FREE or pay.
Comments: Good so far. I use it at least monthly, selling online tickets. I used the "discount" ticket feature for the first time and it works really nice! I have also paid for advertising this month, which will start in about 10 days. I'm excited to see the traffic.
Pros:
It's fairly easy to use. I like that it drives you through the important set up pieces and then gives you areas to supply additional functionality in those basic steps.
Cons:
Deleting/cancelling events needs to be easier. I have recurring events that have been cancelled and I can't seem to get them to go away even though no tickets were sold. The "tickets" available to sell is confusing.
Excellent Event Hoster
Comments: Eventbrite is the most greatest event hosting I have ever come across
Pros:
Expert in event hosting and the organization of their Program by connecting find to Program.
Cons:
Agreement chat or sign with the selected Performing artist
Great way to learn about events in my city and around continent
Comments: Good portal for buying tickets or getting free tickets for events that are free. Great that it notifies me of interesting zoom lectures, tours, etc. I would not have known of or been able to attend because of being in another location.
Pros:
Eventbrite does a good job of notifying me of events that relate to myself and my work. Eventbrite is used regularly for ticketing in local events and it does a very good job. I've never had a problem. What I like about Eventbrite is it regularly notifies me of events, especially lectures, that relate to my work as a scriptwriter. In this zoom age, most of these events are available remotely so I can attend events in other cities. One example. As I scriptwriter I have often written horror material for networks like Showtime and Nickleodeon, and horror feature films. Eventbrite notified me of a zoom lecture in the Detroit Public Library of a talk by a very articulate professor about the history of Black Horror Cinema. Without Eventbrite I would never have know about that event. I've had other fortunate connections like that through Eventbrite including guided tours of graffiti in inner city neighborhoods, another topic of interest that I've incorporated in my own scripts.
Cons:
Eventbrite's e-mail notifications are great but there are a lot of events listed. Some appeal directly to me but many don't. So one has to have a bit of patience to sort through what's on offer that might be of interest to me. A bit better curation might help.
Mastering Events
Comments: I find Eventbrite to be a reliable platform for event planning. Its user-friendly interface and comprehensive tools simplify organizing and promoting events efficiently.
Pros:
I like Eventbrite's user-friendly interface and comprehensive tools that simplify event planning, promotion, and management. It offers efficient solutions for organizers and attendees, contributing to successful and enjoyable events.
Cons:
While Eventbrite is generally effective, I would say that the fees associated with ticket sales can be a drawback for some organizers. It's important for users to weigh the costs against the benefits of using the platform.
Eventbrite Review
Comments: Overall, my experience with Eventbrite has been cool! It has its ups and downs. You really have to do your research when it comes to the people hosting the events you want to attend.
Pros:
What I like most about Eventbrite is that you can find events in your neighborhood or surrounding areas to attend—whether you're looking to have a good time, network, or promote your own events.
Cons:
Anyone can post an event on Eventbrite, and some may overhype their event, making it seem bigger than it is. People might overcharge, especially for vendor opportunities, and if no one shows up, it could end up being a waste of time and money.
Good Event Management, But Some Features Could Be Better
Comments: I am using Eventbrite for some time now to organize both online and in-person events. Overall, the experience is good, but some changes recently make it a little difficult. Setting up events is very easy, and it works well with other systems like WordPress. But the change with custom questions make it hard for us because people don’t answer them after they pay. Still, I think Eventbrite is good platform for promoting events.
Pros:
The system is very strong for handling registration, even when events are complicated. There is many good documents on their website, so I can find how to do most things. It has a big user base, so it is easier to get people sign up for events. I like how simple it is to manage events after setup, and it is easy to track people with digital tickets.
Cons:
Custom questions moved to after payment, which is not helpful for us because people ignore them after they register. Customer support is not very responsive, and it is hard to get help when I need it.
Highly recommend
Comments: I enjoy using Eventbrite to stay in the know for events occurring in local areas around me. I also have used software for advertising my own personal endeavors.
Pros:
The access to events and tickets all in one place. I have personally used Eventbrite for personal and professional events.
Cons:
As a personal user it can be difficult or overwhelming to navigate the events if you are unsure of which you may be interested in.
Honest Review of Eventbrite
Comments: Although my experience with using Eventbrite was a positive one based on the ease of use, shareable link, and AI additions, I was not able to use the video feature advertised. An option for layaway payment was also not available on the application. Eventually, I ended up using a different application. This was mainly because the down payment feature that I needed was not available. I would probably use this application again, but for a different type of event.
Pros:
Creating an event description within the Eventbrite was a simple process. It allowed both use of my own wording, and an option to generate one through AI. This was what I liked most about Eventbrite, as I was able to create a listing quickly.
Cons:
I wanted to upload a small 10 second clip of the event to the listing I created. It could not be uploaded despite the website clearly depicting the ability to do so. It displayed only as a picture. As this was for a theatrical performance, the video would have been the perfect sales pitch. There wasn't anything that I could locate on the website clearly stating the size of the graphics or video that could be uploaded. This was quite frustrating. I wasted twenty minutes of time trying to troubleshoot the issue. In addition, there were not options for more than one payment. The option of an installment plan with each ticket was necessary for my venue.
